POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for carrying out duties in the engine department as directed by the First Engineer.

The Second Engineer will be given an area or specific system of which he/she will be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance in accordance with the AMOS system.

The Second Engineer may be assigned to sea watches.

Requirements:

Must have STCW III/2 License
Valid C/1 D Visa

Experience:

1-2 years relevant experience
Fluent in English (written and verbal)

Knowledge:

Must demonstrate willingness to learn and further their knowledge of onboard equipment and procedures
