Some of the sights you may see include the Lighthouse at Great Stirrup Cay, Slaughter Harbor and the abandoned island community of Cistern Cay. Note: This tour is for single drivers only. Participants must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license. Maximum 1 person (driver) per water craft. The maximum weight must not exceed 450 lbs. This tour will take you along Bay Street, the heart of Nassau’s shopping district, to the Queen's Staircase built in the days of England's Queen Victoria, it consists of over 65 steps cut out of solid coral rock. Catch your breath and shop around the kiosk before going to your next stop, Fort Fincastle. This fort was built in 1793 and it was designed based on the shape of a paddle wheel steamer. Next, take an outside visit to Fort Charlotte, built in the British-Colonial era to defend the island against marauding pirates. Before returning to your ship, there will be a brief photo stop at the famous Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island. Note: Fort Charlotte will be an outside visit. less

Enjoy a relaxing and informative tour of the beautiful reefs around the Grand Bahama aboard the Ocean Wonder, a custom-built 60-foot double-deck glass-bottom boat that offers both sun and shade. The friendly crew will show you multi-colored sea-life and coral formations. Help 'feed the fish' and also view Cooper’s Medieval castle, an island landmark. Afterwards, weather permitting, you’ll travel further offshore to view Brit’s wreck submerged in the waters near Treasure Reef. Before you return to the dock, enjoy a pleasant cruise along the beachfront during which, sites of interest will being pointed out. Soda, bottled water and assorted chips are available for purchase aboard the boat. Tour duration includes one hour round-trip transfer time. This is a good opportunity to discover the city of Freeport. Your guide will take you through the industrial, residential and commercial areas of the city, giving you the history and culture of the island and its people. A short stay is recommended in the downtown area where you’ll see the local conch vendors performing their task of preparing a Bahamian conch dish. You’ll have a chance to shop in Port Lucaya marketplace, stop in the casino, stroll through the streets and even visit one of the most beautiful beaches on the island where you can purchase lunch. Note: Liquor can be purchased at duty-free prices. Towels and beach chairs can be rented at an additional price at the beach stop. The beach portion of the tour will be added as of 5/17/11. less

Informative, fun and exciting, this tour takes you deep into one of America’s largest National Parks - the Everglades. Here you’ll come face to face with alligators, exotic birds and native fish while gliding over an endless river of grass. Throughout the approximately 30-minute journey, your experienced guide will introduce you to the unique eco-system of the park as you experience the vast expanse of this saw grass wilderness passing by lush vegetation, mangrove swamps and hardwood hammocks. Known for its rich bird life, particularly large wading birds, be on the look out for the roseate spoonbill, white ibis, wood stork, great blue heron and a variety of egrets. It's also the only place in the world where alligators and crocodiles exist side by side. Following your airboat ride you’ll be able to explore the park on your own. The Reptile Show will provide you with an informative, interactive opportunity to become familiar with the features of the American alligators. You may also choose to take the Jungle Trail, which leads to an area featuring American Alligators, and a crocodile exhibit, including various species from around the world. Enjoy a narrated bus ride through the industrial area of Grand Bahama Island, passing the International Bazaar with its Tori Gate, along Church Row and the endemic pine forest. Upon arrival at the Botanical Garden of the Groves you have the option of a guided tour or to explore on your own. Interpretive signs will highlight this lush tropical landscape with trees and flowers from the Bahamas and around the world. You’ll find a replica of the original chapel from the early logging days, tranquil lagoons with cascading waterfalls, a spiritual labyrinth for meditation and an open-air cafe deck. Local artisans will display authentic Bahamian arts and crafts. Children will also be able to enjoy a magnificent cedar play set. Walk down into the cool fern grove and marvel at the magnificent limestone boulders that tower to both sides of your trail! You may also want to relax on the 'Lofty Fig' deck where cool Bahamian drinks and local delicacies can be purchased. After your visit to the gardens you’ll be transported to Port Lucaya Marketplace for some shopping before returning to your ship. Note: Sunscreen and insect repellent is recommended. less

A treat for nature lovers, the Lucayan National Park is home to Ben's Cave - the longest, underwater surveyed cave system leading to the ocean - located on the eastern end of the island. They form part of the largest uncharted cave system in the world. Across Grand Bahama Street is Gold Rock Creek which is housing to the five ecosystems of Grand Bahama. You'll be able to step down to see part of the cave system and stroll along a wooden boardwalk through a mangrove ecosystem. Here you'll see a variety of wild birds, colorful fish and the spectacular Gold Rock beach - 52 miles of crystal-clear water and pearly white sand. Next, you’ll visit Banana Bay restaurant where you’ll have the option to purchase food and drinks. Lastly, you can choose to go shell hunting or just relax in the beauty of this sunshine paradise. Lucayan National Park encompasses 40 acres of mangrove swamps, sand dunes, broad beaches, a pine and palm forest. You’ll kayak in a protected creek through a mangrove forest for approximately 90 minutes and venture on a guided 1/4 mile nature walk. Learn about the history of the original Bahamian people. Enjoy a swim and light lunch under shelter at beautiful Gold Rock Beach.
Note: Participants must be at least 6 years of age and weigh no more than 300 lbs. Two-person kayaks are used. Please wear your swimsuit and bring a towel. Protected footwear such as tennis shoes are highly recommended, no flip-flops please. Water-safe storage bags are provided so you may bring your camera. Lunch consists of do-it-yourself deli sandwiches, fruit, cookies, lemonade and water. Bring water and sun protection. Guests must sign a waiver release form.

Where else in the world can you tour the launch areas of a working space flight facility, have the opportunity to meet a real astronaut and stand inches away from the largest rocket ever built? Only at Kennedy Space Center! Located just minutes from Port Canaveral on Florida's Space Coast, the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex offers a rare, behind-the-scenes look at one of mankind's most fascinating and remarkable achievements - the space program where history was, and still is, made every day. On your tour into KSC, you'll have the chance to see Space Shuttle Launch Pads from the four-story Observation Gantry and the Apollo/Saturn V Center which offers an inspirational and exhilarating look into mankind's quest for the moon. There's a lot of activities offered at the Apollo/Saturn V Center, including reliving the historic launch of Apollo 8 at the Firing Room Theater; also, being able to marvel at a monstrous 363-foot Saturn V moon rocket. Pick and choose wisely since you won’t have time to see everything. Your options include seeing an IMAX® movie, the interactive Astronaut Encounter program or the Shuttle Launch Experience. Finally, your chance to be an astronaut! Note: Due to the highly secure status of KSC, anything remotely resembling a weapon, pocketknife, pepper spray, etc. won’t be permitted and will be confiscated. Cargo bags are discouraged so as to expedite the security check. This tour returns to the pier and will not be available for guests disembarking. This is not a guided tour.
