Relax and enjoy the sun and the sea while you try your hand at bottom fishing using the light tackle provided. Catches can include varieties of snappers and jacks, porgies, hine and triggerfish (turbot) to name a few. Not experienced? The crew will be glad to assist you. Bait, tackle and ice are included. Want to get an even closer look at the world's busiest space launch facility? The Kennedy Space Center Up Close tour, led by a trained space expert, will take you on a two-hour narrated journey through the Space Shuttle program, from launch preparation to lift-off. Included are extremely close stops by Space Shuttle Launch Pads A and B and the huge Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB). The tour will also stop at NASA Causeway, where guests are surrounded by rocket launch pads. This tour includes a KSC souvenir and an informational piece with pictures. Note: Due to the highly secure status of KSC, anything remotely resembling a weapon, pocketknife, pepper spray, etc. won’t be permitted and will be confiscated. Cargo bags are discouraged so as to expedite the security check. This tour returns to the pier and will not be available for guests disembarking. Ages 3 to 11 are considered paying children. See the best of the vibrant Grand Bahama Island on this adventurous jeep tour. A short bus ride from the pier will take you to your waiting jeep. Your adventure begins as you hop into your jeep and drive off, on the left side of the road, following British tradition. Enjoy a narrated tour of the city highlights with stops at points of interest; all this while learning about the island’s history, original Indian inhabitants and the early settlers. Visit the beautiful Garden of the Groves where you'll relax under a huge fig tree overlooking the waterfalls while enjoying lunch. Stroll through the lovely gardens, browse boutique shops featuring locally made arts and crafts and see artisans create native straw work. Your journey continues to one of Grand Bahama’s finest beach clubs where you can take a dip in the crystal clear water. Note: Participants must be at least 12 years of age. Guests wishing to drive must be at least 25 years of age and present a valid driver's license. Four guests per jeep; jeeps have manual or automatic transmission. Swimsuit, towel, camera, sunscreen, and strap sandals or closed toe comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Jeep will travel on unpaved roads at times and the ride will be bumpy. For those who would like to spend a day of fun and adventure at either Disney’s Magic Kingdom® Park, Epcot®, Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park or Disney’s Hollywood Studios™, Norwegian is pleased to offer two options. One is a full-day package including round-trip transportation and admission to one of the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks. The other is a round-trip motorcoach transfer only from Port Canaveral’s pier to the parks. The choice is yours! Note: For Disney Park Package, children 10 and older will be charged adult entrance fees, per park’s policy. For children between 10 and 12, an adjustment will be made to your onboard account to reflect the adult ticket price. For children 2 and under, only need to purchase a transfer ticket if they wish to be seated on transfer. Lap children 2 and under, will pay no transfer charge. Transfer service only does not include entrance fees to the park. You’ll be dropped off and picked up at the coach staging area, close to the main entrance. Transfer time is approximately one hour each way. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park closes at 5:00 pm; duration of tour may vary. During peak season: April, July and December, Magic Kingdom may reach its park’s capacity; guests will have to choose another Walt Disney World® Theme Park as an option. Learn to surf at Cocoa Beach - Surf Capital of the World! You’ll be briefed on ocean safety and marine life awareness. Your experienced instructor will teach you how to manage your surfboard on land and in the water which will get you up and surfing safely in no time. Who knows, you may be able to ‘hang ten’ before the day is over! Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age and capable swimmers. Surfboards and wet suits are included. A specific time will be set for your return transfer back to the pier. For those that wish to stay at Cocoa Beach, they are responsible for their own way back to the ship. For observers, a ride-along ticket needs to be purchased onboard as the transportation for this tour is not the Cocoa Beach Shopping Shuttle.
