Immerse yourself in the legend of Atlantis during this exciting excursion. After an approximately 25-minute bus transfer to Paradise Island, you’ll be escorted to the resort for a guided exploration of Atlantis, to experience the most mystifying and spectacular resort to have risen from the sea. Discover the world’s largest marine habitat, and view over 50,000 sea animals representing 200 different species. Also explore the Dig, which will reveal how Atlantean culture flourished over 11,000 years ago. Come to discover a continent in just one day at Atlantis Paradise Island. At the conclusion of the guided portion of the tour, you’ll have some time on your own to return to the Dig and its exhibits, shop at the Marina Village, visit the casino, explore the hotel’s grand lobby or have a bite to eat at your own expense. Note: Participants ages 3 or younger receive free admission if accompanied by a participating paying adult (parent or guardian at least 18 years of age). This tour does not include access or use of the resort pool, beach or water slides and is not recommended for those with physical limitations. Although most walking is on level terrain, this is a walking tour and there is a considerable amount of walking involved. The Atlantis Resort uses a cashless system at many of its outdoor food and beverage venues located near the beach area. Guests should bring a credit card to use at these locations. Cash venues are very limited. Transportation for this tour is by bus, there is approximately 25 minutes each way depending on traffic conditions. Guests participating on an Atlantis Shore Excursion must arrive at the place and time stated on the Shore Excursion ticket. Atlantis tour tickets will not be honored at the resort. less

See the best of the vibrant Grand Bahama Island on this adventurous jeep tour. A short bus ride from the pier will take you to your waiting jeep. Your adventure begins as you hop into your jeep and drive off, on the left side of the road, following British tradition. Enjoy a narrated tour of the city highlights with stops at points of interest; all this while learning about the island’s history, original Indian inhabitants and the early settlers. Visit the beautiful Garden of the Groves where you'll relax under a huge fig tree overlooking the waterfalls while enjoying lunch. Stroll through the lovely gardens, browse boutique shops featuring locally made arts and crafts and see artisans create native straw work. Your journey continues to one of Grand Bahama’s finest beach clubs where you can take a dip in the crystal clear water. Note: Participants must be at least 12 years of age. Guests wishing to drive must be at least 25 years of age and present a valid driver's license. Four guests per jeep; jeeps have manual or automatic transmission. Swimsuit, towel, camera, sunscreen, and strap sandals or closed toe comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Jeep will travel on unpaved roads at times and the ride will be bumpy. Be on the lookout for alligators and bald eagles onboard your 15-passenger airboat. Glide through the fresh water marshes and protected wetland hammocks within the heart of the Central Florida. Your guide will narrate interesting facts during your ride to Lone Cabbage, an old style Florida Fish Camp on the banks of the beautiful St. Johns River. Here, you can see a wildlife presentation and you’ll get a chance to hold a live alligator. Then, travel at speeds of almost 40 mph into pristine sections of fresh water and into a natural cypress swamp. Your eco-guide boat captain will point out local wildlife such as alligators, eagles and birds. At the end of your tour, a gator snack and refreshments will be provided. Note: Wildlife sightings are frequent, but not guaranteed during the airboat ride. Alligator sightseeing is guaranteed during the wildlife presentation. A light jacket is recommended. less

The Hippo Water Slide pass is for the entire day. It's the world’s largest inflatable water slide in the shape of a hippopotamus. This 40 foot high and 175 foot long "Hippo" is available to use at your leisure all day. Don’t be left out, plunge down this three story slide for an exciting adventure! A treat for nature lovers, the Lucayan National Park is home to Ben's Cave - the longest, underwater surveyed cave system leading to the ocean - located on the eastern end of the island. They form part of the largest uncharted cave system in the world. Across Grand Bahama Street is Gold Rock Creek which is housing to the five ecosystems of Grand Bahama. You'll be able to step down to see part of the cave system and stroll along a wooden boardwalk through a mangrove ecosystem. Here you'll see a variety of wild birds, colorful fish and the spectacular Gold Rock beach - 52 miles of crystal-clear water and pearly white sand. Next, you’ll visit Banana Bay restaurant where you’ll have the option to purchase food and drinks. Lastly, you can choose to go shell hunting or just relax in the beauty of this sunshine paradise.
