Take advantage of this special promotion valid only during the month of May 2013. It’s new, it’s big and it’s fun for the entire family! Come play at Aquaventure, the centerpiece of the Atlantis Resort’s recent billion-dollar development. Containing over 20 million gallons of water, this non-stop water experience consists of thrilling new water slides, a mile long river ride with high intensity rapids, wave surges, and never-before-seen special effects. The excursion also includes access to the huge, open-air marine habitat where you can find over 50,000 fascinating sea creatures. Whether you prefer a thrilling ride through a shark filled pool or a gentle float on a never ending lagoon, you'll find it at Atlantis.
Note: Participants ages 3 years of age or younger receive free admission if accompanied by a participating paying adult (parent or guardian at least 18 years of age). There is a considerable amount of walking on this tour, approximately 0.4 mile. Participants must be at least 48” tall to ride the water slides. Lounge chairs, towels and life jackets are provided. Non-motorized water sports are available for rent. Guests should bring a credit card for drink and food purchases. The transportation for this tour is by bus, approximately 25 minutes each way depending on traffic conditions. Guests participating on an Atlantis Shore Excursion must arrive at the place and time stated on the Shore Excursion ticket. Atlantis tour tickets will not be honored at the resort. The last transfer back to the ship will be one hour before sailing time. Special rates are only available for ports of call dates (not sail dates), during the month of May 2013. This tour is only available on Norwegian Sky and Norwegian Gem.

Take advantage of this special promotion valid only during the month of May 2013. Have a fun time at Atlantis. Wade into the waters of one of the world’s newest and largest dolphin habitats where you'll touch, hug, and even kiss your new dolphin friends. Watch as they show off their playful side through some of their favorite behaviors. This intimate interaction begins with an orientation and includes 30 minutes in the water. Let the dolphins of Atlantis welcome you to join in the fun. Wet suits, personal lockers, beach towels, and non-alcoholic refreshments are provided. Receive an Atlantis map which will allow you to take a self-guided tour at your leisure of the Ruins Lagoon, a recreation of the sunken streets of mythical Atlantis, and the Dig, a replica of an archaeological excavation site. Enjoy complimentary soft drinks while sunbathing at Dolphin’s Cay private beach.
Note: Bring your swimsuit. Participants must be at least 2 years of age. For children under 10 years of age, a parent or appointed guardian must participate in the program. Wetsuits are mandatory. Children must be able to comprehend and follow instructions. Wear comfortable shoes as there is a considerable amount of walking once at the resort. This tour has access to Dolphin Cay private beach to sunbathe and watch the dolphins only; however swimming is not allowed. For the safety of everyone, observers must remain on the beach and are not permitted to enter the water. Dolphin Observer tickets are sold onboard only. This tour is non-refundable. The transportation for this tour is by bus, approximately 25 minutes each way depending on traffic conditions. Guests participating on an Atlantis Shore Excursion must arrive at the place and time stated on the Shore Excursion ticket. Atlantis tour tickets will not be honored at the resort. There is a considerable amount of walking on this tour, approximately 0.4 miles. Duration of tour may vary. To ensure availability, dolphin excursions must be booked 24 hours prior to the port call, last minute sales will not be available. Whether you’re snorkeling for the very first time or you consider yourself an expert, you’ll want to experience our adventurous snorkel trail "The Fate of the Fancy" on Great Stirrup Cay. Located in the clear blue waters of Bertram’s Cove, you’ll snorkel your way around the wreckage of the treasure ship 'The Fancy', which sailed towards the Berry Islands in April of 1696 when it disappeared into the darkness of the night. Legend has it that from the depths of the sea appeared the sea creature Lusca, which grasped and destroyed the ship. The trail includes 17 mini reefs comprised of shipwreck artifacts that include cannons, treasure chests, swords and even a sunken piano. Note: Participants must be able to swim. This tour is the length of the ship’s duration in Great Stirrup Cay. less

Only at Kennedy Space Center! Located just minutes from Port Canaveral on Florida's Space Coast, the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex offers a rare, behind-the-scenes look at one of mankind's most fascinating and remarkable achievements - the space program where history was, and still is, made every day. On your tour into KSC, you'll have the chance to see Space Shuttle Launch Pads from the four-story Observation Gantry and the Apollo/Saturn V Center which offers an inspirational and exhilarating look into mankind's quest for the moon. There's a lot of activities offered at the Apollo/Saturn V Center, including reliving the historic launch of Apollo 8 at the Firing Room Theater; also, being able to marvel at a monstrous 363-foot Saturn V moon rocket. Pick and choose wisely since you won’t have time to see everything. Your options include seeing an IMAX® movie, the interactive Astronaut Encounter program or the Shuttle Launch Experience. Finally, your chance to be an astronaut! Note: Due to the highly secure status of KSC, anything remotely resembling a weapon, pocketknife, pepper spray, etc. won’t be permitted and will be confiscated. Cargo bags are discouraged so as to expedite the security check. This tour returns to the pier and will not be available for guests disembarking. This is not a guided tour. Lucayan National Park encompasses 40 acres of mangrove swamps, sand dunes, broad beaches, a pine and palm forest. You’ll kayak in a protected creek through a mangrove forest for approximately 90 minutes and venture on a guided 1/4 mile nature walk. Learn about the history of the original Bahamian people. Enjoy a swim and light lunch under shelter at beautiful Gold Rock Beach.
Note: Participants must be at least 6 years of age and weigh no more than 300 lbs. Two-person kayaks are used. Please wear your swimsuit and bring a towel. Protected footwear such as tennis shoes are highly recommended, no flip-flops please. Water-safe storage bags are provided so you may bring your camera. Lunch consists of do-it-yourself deli sandwiches, fruit, cookies, lemonade and water. Bring water and sun protection. Guests must sign a waiver release form.

Take a 15-minute shuttle ride to famous Cocoa Beach. You’ll get to visit Cocoa Beach Surf Company, Starbucks Coffee, Shark Pit Bar & Grill and a 6,500-gallon shark tank. Surf and beach rentals are available all day. You'll be given a 15% discount card for shopping and dining experiences. From here, you can take a short walk to the beach for sun and fun; visit some restaurants around the area and of course the local landmark, Ron Jon Surf Shop. On the return ride to the ship, the shuttle stops at "The Cove" located in the ports facilities, where you’ll have the option to enjoy lunch or dine at one of many waterfront pier restaurants. Learn the history of Port Canaveral. From the pier, head over to the Air Force Space & Missile History Center to learn about where the spirit of space exploration began. The History Center features exhibits highlighting every launch complex on Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. Next, stop at The Canaveral locks, built in 1965. This is the largest navigation lock in Florida that connects Port Canaveral with the Banana River. For the past 30 years, this lock has been used after every shuttle launch to transport the shuttle booster rockets, which fell into the ocean after liftoff, back to Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The Lock is a magnet for fish and birds and on any given day you will see: Brown Pelican, White Ibis, Snowy Egret, Great Blue Heron, and Wood Stork. Manatees and dolphins may often be spotted. Your last stop will be a visit to a fish house and working dock, where thousands of pounds of seafood are caught each year. Here, is where one of Florida’s most known species got its start; the Rock shrimp. Finally, you’ll end your tour with a taste and sampling of Canaveral Shrimp. Note: Wear comfortable shoes. This tour offers the ideal combination of sailing and snorkeling. After a short stroll, you’ll board your catamaran, which features a shaded lounge and spacious deck, for a cruise through historic Nassau Harbor en route to one of two spectacular reefs. Here, you’ll see natural coral reefs teaming with the ocean’s wildlife on a snorkel adventure. During your sail, you’ll receive your snorkel gear and instructions from the knowledgeable crew, who will accompany you into the water to ensure your safety and enjoyment. Unlimited rum punch is offered after snorkeling, and a full premium cash bar is available at an additional cost. Note: Participants must be at least 7 years of age to snorkel and in good physical condition. Parental discretion is needed for children under 7 to participate. Snorkeling takes place at a reef with a depth of approximately 5 to 15 feet. Swimming is not a requirement but it’s recommended. Participants are required to wear life vests at all times.
