Race alongside dolphins, cruise along the surface, or dive to the depths of the saltwater lagoon on your hand-held scooter, while you control your own speed! Explore this wide-open dolphin playground and enjoy Dolphin Cay’s signature ‘foot push,’ where dolphins propel you across the lagoon on a boogie board for a rush unlike any you’ve experienced. You’ll be provided with a snorkel and mask. You’ll also receive an Atlantis map, which will allow you to take a self-guided tour at your leisure of the Ruins Lagoon, a recreation of the sunken streets of mythical Atlantis and the Dig, a replica of an archaeological excavation site. After an approximate 30-minute bus ride from the pier to Port Lucaya, you’ll arrive at the world-famous Unexso’s facility for an unforgettable dolphin experience. You’ll receive a complimentary Dolphin Experience reusable shopping tote. Then, take a 20-minute ferry boat ride along the south shore of the island over to the nine-acre Dolphin Experience Lagoon, for an interactive swim with these wonderful creatures. This lagoon is home to 14n Atlantic bottle nose dolphins. Receive an educational briefing from the experts and gather in small groups of six participants for swimming turns. Swim with the dolphins while plunging underwater to play or race them above the surface. Perform behaviors with the dolphins and ask them to turn around, speak, splash you or wave. Swim in between them for a hug and kiss while the photographer takes photos of you. Each group will be in the water with the dolphins for approximately 20-25 minutes. During this interaction, the animal care staff will provide you with facts about these wonderful animals. While others are in the water you can take photos of the dolphins and other participants from the observation deck. After your program, take a look at several African Macaws and Cockatoos or take a dip in the 17 foot deep pool at Unexso. Note: Participants must be at least 12 years of age, be a minimum height of 4’ 7” and be able to swim. Fins are provided. Children 16 years of age and under must be accompanied by a participating parent or guardian. Observers are not permitted. This tour is not advised for pregnant women. Learn about, meet and interact with the most beloved mammal in the ocean - the bottlenose dolphin. Transfer to and from Blue Lagoon Island, home to 19 bottlenose dolphins, by boat from the pier (approximately 40 minutes each way). Upon arrival, meet the trainers for an educational briefing. This program takes place in approximately 20-foot-deep water, in small groups of no more than 10, so everyone has the opportunity to meet the dolphin while in the water and to ask questions. Highlights include a petting and feeding session with the dolphins, the popular high speed 'foot push' and optional professional photo and DVD/video opportunity. Note: Participants must be at least 6 years of age. Pregnant women are not allowed. Actual in-water encounter time is approximately 30 minutes. Children between the ages of 6 to 12 must be accompanied in the water by a paying guardian/parent. Here, a helmet will be provided as well as safety briefings prior to your ride. Your guide will lead you through local countryside for approximately 1 1/2 hours. Next, arrive to the staging area at Lucaya Marketplace to transfer by bus back to your ship. Note: Drivers must be at least 25 years of age and present a valid motorcycle license and a credit card to the tour operator. Riders must be at least 18 years of age to participate.
