Bermuda Cruises: Excursions

This package is fun for everyone. At your leisure or with our tour guide, you can make the short walk to Snorkel Park Beach, a hidden oasis inside the Royal Naval Dockyard. Gates and water sports beach facilities open at 9am. Upon arrival you'll be set up with a beach lounge chair and an umbrella on our private beach and directed toward our water sports facility where snorkel gear and water sports equipment awaits you. You are free to relax on the beach and take advantage of our amenities at your leisure. Included in this tour is a lounge chair with shared umbrella(one for 2 people) the use of a kayak or pedal boat for an hour (one for 2 people, 2 person pedal boats can take an additional 2 children), and use of full snorkel gear including mask, snorkel, fins and life jacket or noodle. You'll be able to enjoy delicious local food at our full service restaurant Hammerhead’s Bar and Grill, as well as specialty cocktails and frozen drinks from one of our 2 bars, or just relax and enjoy the sun and fun. You can explore an undersea world of marine life as you snorkel a protected reef where schools of fish and aquatic wonders await. This is a great venue for families and young couples. Snorkel Park Beach regularly has daily live local entertainment on the beach from 1-3pm. Note: Food and drink are not included in this package but are available. Umbrellas are based on double occupancy, 2 chairs to each umbrella. Coolers, drinks and food are not permitted to be brought into the venue. Jet skis are also available for rent. Any guests requiring transport will be able to take the free public road train to our facility. Step back in time and enjoy English Tea in a Great House full of tradition. Take a scenic drive along the south coast, passing through Oistins, a little fishing village famous for its nightly fish fry, and the Barbados Golf Club, before arriving at the Sunbury Plantation House and Museum. The main house of this once-thriving plantation was built over 300 year ago and is magnificently furnished. The cellar houses the Caribbean's finest collection of antique carriages. Tea will be served (weather permitting) in the gardens. Enjoy freshly baked scones served with butter, fresh cream and jam; tuna and cheese finger sandwiches; and chocolate, vanilla or fruitcake, while sipping on a freshly brewed cup of tea. less

Return to the Victorian era as you stop at the University of Tampa campus, once the former Tampa Bay Hotel built in 1891 as a palatial resort. This elegant structure stands on 150 acres of lush tropical grounds overlooking the Hillsborough River. The Hotel was built and furnished by railroad tycoon Henry Bradley Plant, recapturing an aura for an opulent Victorian winter resort. This magnificent structure, with its eye catching silver minarets, was modeled after the Alhambra Palace in Granada Spain and is on the National Register of Historic Places. In 1886, Vicente Martinez Ybor bought forty acres of land from local Tampa citizens and began building Ybor City. Thus began this community of factories and small worker’s homes. At the Ybor City State Museum complex, you will pass by an authentically renovated cigar worker’s shotgun house dating from the turn of the century that was the home of early cigar factory workers. A stop will be made in Ybor City and you will learn about the unique society that created the cigar industry, the primary manufacturing industry responsible for the early development of Tampa. Other highlights include a drive along Bayshore Boulevard where you’ll see lovely upscale homes overlooking the Bay and the waterfront area, home to the Tampa Convention Center, Forum, Cruise Terminals, Shoppes at Channelside, the Florida Aquarium and Harbour Island, plus the Sports Complexes that are home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the spring training home of the New York Yankees. The Hippo Water Slide pass is for the entire day. It's the world’s largest inflatable water slide in the shape of a hippopotamus. This 40 foot high and 175 foot long "Hippo" is available to use at your leisure all day. Don’t be left out, plunge down this three story slide for an exciting adventure! This is a fun activity the whole family will enjoy.

A tropical fun beach party the whole family will enjoy, just a short walk from the pier to Snorkel Park Beach. The sound of live local entertainment fills the air as you enjoy complimentary rum swizzles. Watch local Gombey dancers and a sizzling hot fire limbo show. Join the limbo contest and dance away with family and friends on this white sandy beach. less

Board the Rising Son II for Bermuda’s ultimate sailing experience. Lounge in the roomy shaded cockpit, or lie out on one of the huge trampolines. Sip complimentary beverages as you cruise by the old remains of Bermuda fortifications. Chat with the crew about Bermuda's past and present as you cruise toward beautiful and secluded swim sites. These sites are hidden among a chain of islands in Mangrove Bay, one of Bermuda's most remote coastal regions. The catamaran will anchor in six feet of water, where you may choose to swim up to the nearby beach, kayak or kick around with the crew's snorkel gear. After 1 1/2 hours of playtime, you’ll be welcomed back aboard for unlimited complimentary Rum Swizzles. Let the island music get you into the vacation spirit as you head out for another hour of true catamaran sailing. Note: Participants must weigh no more than 300 lbs., be good swimmers, and in good health. Bring sunscreen, a towel and a hat. This tour is not recommended for infants.
