It’s new, it’s big; and it's fun for the entire family. Come play at Aquaventure, the centerpiece of the Atlantis Resort’s recent billion-dollar development. Containing over twenty million gallons of water, this non-stop water experience consists of thrilling new water slides, a mile-long river ride with high intensity rapids, wave surges, and never-before-seen special effects. The excursion also includes access to the huge, open-air marine habitat where you can find over 50,000 fascinating sea creatures. Whether you prefer a thrilling ride through a shark-filled pool or a gentle float on a never-ending lagoon, you'll find it at Atlantis. Note: Participants ages 3 or younger receive free admission if accompanied by a participating paying adult (parent or guardian at least 18 years of age). There is a considerable amount of walking on this tour (approximately 0.4 miles). Participants must be at least 48" tall to ride the water slides. Lounge chairs, towels and life jackets are provided. Non-motorized water sports are available for rent. Guests should bring a credit card for drink and food purchases. The transportation for this tour is by bus, approximately 25-minutes each way depending on traffic conditions. Guests participating on an Atlantis Shore Excursion must arrive at the place and time stated on the Shore Excursion ticket. Atlantis tour tickets will not be honored at the resort. This tour is available for all ships except Norwegian Epic and Norwegian Sun. The last transfer back to the ship will be one hour before sailing time. Prices may vary by sail date. less

Whether you’re snorkeling for the very first time or you consider yourself an expert, you’ll want to experience our adventurous snorkel trail "The Fate of the Fancy" on Great Stirrup Cay. Located in the clear blue waters of Bertram’s Cove, you’ll snorkel your way around the wreckage of the treasure ship 'The Fancy', which sailed towards the Berry Islands in April of 1696 when it disappeared into the darkness of the night. Legend has it that from the depths of the sea appeared the sea creature Lusca, which grasped and destroyed the ship. The trail includes 17 mini reefs comprised of shipwreck artifacts that include cannons, treasure chests, swords and even a sunken piano. Note: Participants must be able to swim. This tour is the length of the ship’s duration in Great Stirrup Cay. less

The impressive cliff-top site of Tulum is one of the most famous landmarks of the Mayan world. Board your motorcoach for a one hour drive south to Tulum. During the journey, your guide provides a narrative on the area and Mayan culture. Once at Tulum, enjoy a guided tour of this walled city, its temples and buildings. Its cliff-top location gives the site a special atmosphere as well as great views. After the tour, you'll have time to walk around and enjoy the spectacular views of the beautiful beach, overlooked by the temple. Note: Includes a 45-minute ferry ride to the mainland. There is a $5-7 USD fee for the use of video cameras in Tulum. Tripods and professional cameras are not allowed. This tour may include a short shopping stop on the return to your ship. less

This tour offers the ideal combination of sailing and snorkeling. After a short stroll, you’ll board your catamaran, which features a shaded lounge and spacious deck, for a cruise through historic Nassau Harbor en route to one of two spectacular reefs. Here, you’ll see natural coral reefs teaming with the ocean’s wildlife on a snorkel adventure. During your sail, you’ll receive your snorkel gear and instructions from the knowledgeable crew, who will accompany you into the water to ensure your safety and enjoyment. Unlimited rum punch is offered after snorkeling, and a full premium cash bar is available at an additional cost. Note: Participants must be at least 7 years of age to snorkel and in good physical condition. Parental discretion is needed for children under 7 to participate. Snorkeling takes place at a reef with a depth of approximately 5 to 15 feet. Swimming is not a requirement but it’s recommended. Participants are required to wear life vests at all times. We recommend that you bring sunscreen and a towel. An approximately 10 to 15-minute walk is required to board transportation for all Nassau tours. Guests must sign a waiver release form. less

Join the crew of a 60-foot motorized catamaran snorkel boat as your Captain sets course for the wreck of the 'Constellation', a shipwreck made world-famous by the film "The Deep". Three decades later, there is even more beautiful coral and fish surrounding the shipwreck. The wreck lies in only 20 feet of water, but is six miles off the north coast of Bermuda. The views are as breathtaking above the water, as they are below. After a full snorkel instruction and safety briefing, you’ll have approximately 45 minutes to explore the 'Constellation', as well as the nearby wreck of the 'Montana'. The Captain will then sound the horn, and prepare to cruise to your next snorkel location, a beautiful and secluded cluster of the world's most healthy coral reef. You’ll have another half hour to venture out and explore the underwater world before making the way back to your ship. Note: Participants must be at least 12 years of age, weigh no more than 300 lbs. and in good physical health, with no physical handicaps that prevent walking up or down a dive ladder without assistance. This tour is an open-water snorkel, ideally suited for guests who have snorkel experience. Participants must be at least 21 years of age to consume alcohol. A valid photo I.D. is required. This tour covers the entire length of the island of Bermuda and includes a view of the famous pink sand beaches. Your driver will pick you up in a bus shipside and head out through Dockyard into Somerset Village. You'll pass over Somerset Drawbridge, the smallest drawbridge in the world. A photo stop will be made at the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse, where you can enjoy the 360 degree view offered from the base. Continuing on this coastal drive allows for an even more impressive view of the South Shore beaches with their pink sand, azure blue waters and the imposing barrier reef that encircles the island. Pass by the Botanical Gardens and drive to St. Georges, a World Heritage Site. The town’s history is visible with its narrow winding alleys and cobblestone streets. Next you’ll make your way into the City of Hamilton, the capital of Bermuda, before your return to the ship.
