Continuing on to the North Sound region, you will pass the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium and drive through the villages of All Saints, Liberta and Falmouth. Make a quick stop for refreshments before continuing through the lush green foliage of Fig Tree Drive, the island’s most picturesque drive and home of Antigua’s tropical forest. Fig is the Antiguan word for banana and you will drive through groves of wild mango, guava, orange, coconut and of course, bananas at every turn. Along this scenic southwest coast to Old Road, Fig Tree Drive climbs up and down hillsides affording breathtaking views. As your island drive takes you back to the ship, you will pass the pineapple fields at Cades Bay and beautiful Darkwood Beach. Discover tranquil island hideaways onboard the most informative and highly entertaining sightseeing cruise in Bermuda. This tour will give you historical facts as well as lots of humorous personal stories about the island. Cruise along the shoreline to view charming Colonial homes, painted in pastel colors that are steeped in history, as well as exclusive neighborhoods known as "Millionaire’s Row". We’ll point out the homes of the rich and famous - such as Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones; playwright Eugene O’Neal, who’s daughter was married to Charlie Chaplin; and illustrator William Denslow, most famous for his work on the "Wizard of Oz". See classic Bermuda landmarks such as Gibbs Hill Lighthouse, the oldest cast iron lighthouse in the Western Hemisphere. Learn about the island’s past and present, flora and fauna, and wonderful marine life as you gently cruise Bermuda’s exquisite turquoise blue waters. This scenic tour will acquaint you with the historic Royal Naval Dockyard and surrounding areas of Ireland Island. You’ll pass by the old and new prisons, the Commissioner’s House, the Old Naval Cemetery, Black Bay, Parsons Bay, and the local fisherman's area. Travel past the site where movies such as "The Deep" and "Bermuda Depths" were filmed and take a glimpse at the residential area on the return ride. Your tour route is filled with native vegetation and flowers, all of which will be pointed out and described by your knowledgeable guide. The horses are really old nags that have seen the war and can find their way around blindfolded. Note: Participants 16 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult. Guests must be able to board the carriage on their own. The tour stops by the Clocktower Centre on the return and guests can depart the tour at that point if they desire. Your submarine dive adventure begins on board ferry vessel Ana that will take you on a 12 minute cruise along Cozumel's west coast. Upon arriving at the Chankanaab dive site you are transferred to the Atlantis Submarine where you will have the opportunity to view this underwater paradise through large windows in air-conditioned comfort. Marvel at the huge variety of tropical fish including parrotfish, grunts, and groupers as your captain expertly navigates through magnificent 30 foot (9 meter) coral heads. Throughout your voyage an informative, live narration is provided by an experienced co-pilot who will be happy to answer any questions.
