Enjoy the highlights of Boston as this panoramic tour takes you past the city’s most important and scenic sites. See Copley Square, one of the city’s most attractive spots bordered by the architectural wonders of Trinity Church and the Boston Public Library. Continuing through the upscale residential area of Back Bay and along Newbury Street, you’ll pass exclusive boutiques, trendy cafes and the Public Garden. In the heart of the city and overlooking the green oasis of Boston Common, lies one of the most elegant and wealthiest neighborhoods of the city, Beacon Hill. Passing the gold dome of the Massachusetts State House, you'll see the Old South Meeting House where the Boston Tea Party began. Looking across the Charles River as the patriots did in April of 1775, catch a glimpse of the steeple of Old North Church where Paul Revere ordered two lanterns hung in the steeple to signal that the British Recoats were on the move. Note: This tour ends at the Boston Logan Airport and is only available for Norwegian Dawn guests with domestic flights after 2:00 pm, international flights after 3:00 pm, or who have an extended stay in Boston. Board your Big Pink Sightseeing bus to explore Sydney, the largest community and commercial center of Cape Breton Island. Begin your tour in the historic north end settled in 1785 by British Loyalists from the New England colonies and pass by Victoria Park, the site of the original garrison camp. Continue through downtown Sydney with a brief stop at Wentworth Park for a photo opportunity. You’ll then proceed to Whitney Pier, the former site of Sydney Steel Mill which dates back to 1900. Visit the Historical Museum and learn about the importance the Sydney Coal Fields have on the local economy.

These industries brought immigrants from many parts of the world giving Sydney a multicultural mix of more than 50 ethnic backgrounds. Another photo stop will be made at The Melting Pot, honoring these people, their strong work ethic and cultural pride. Continue to the First Nations community of Membertou, a modern day blueprint for all aboriginal communities in North America. Return to the pier where you can do some shopping at the cruise terminal, visit the Interpretation Center and The Big Ceilidh Fiddle.

Continue to the First Nations community of Membertou where you’ll celebrate the heritage, culture and unique history of these people through educational and interactive experiences. Your tour guide and/or Elders of Membertou will encourage you to experience their story, learn Mi’kmaq dance and drum as they provide a hands on demonstration and instruction. Sample traditional Mi’kmaq food and/or treat as you learn the history of their food, perhaps comparing the old way with the new. Enjoy a walk in their garden area and visit Petroglyphs Gift Shop featuring arts and crafts from the Mi’kmaq Nation and other First Nations across Atlantic Canada. You’ll then board your coach returning to the ship along the waterfront.

The waters of the mighty Saint John River collide with the Bay of Fundy for a breathtaking spectacle you won’t soon forget. The 'All About Town Loop' links you to many popular attractions and historic city landmarks including historic Uptown Saint John and the City Market where tasty treats and eye-catching crafts await you, and The New Brunswick Museum where the city’s rich heritage comes to life. With flexibility, choice and freedom this tour allows you to plan your time in Saint John shopping, sightseeing or just walking this harbor city at your own pace by hopping on and off our Big Pink Sightseeing double deckers. Note: Admission fees are not included in the price of this tour and are at the discretion of the guest. Double-deckers depart the pier and at all stops approximately every 15 to 30 minutes all day long. A dollar of the proceeds from this tour will be donated to the Breast Cancer Foundation. Collapsible wheelchairs can be stored, but only one is allowed per double-decker, due to safety requirements.
