Ever wanted to captain your own boat? No problem! You’ll board your two-seater speed boat, which are a breeze to operate amidst the favorable conditions of the Caribbean Sea, in this cruise excursion. Then, receive a safety speech and all your snorkeling equipment, and learn how to maneuver your boat throughout the journey. Once your life vest is on, it is time to board your boat and glide out into the endless turquoise waters, get ready and blast off! Follow your guide as he takes you along the coastline and leads you to one of the most vibrant reefs in the area. Once you arrive at the reef you’ll enjoy 45 minutes of guided snorkeling along the reef edge amongst colorful fish and corals. Learn about lobsters, starfish, anemones abound from a PADI qualified guide, it’s an underwater paradise. Back at the beach your tour is still only beginning. Enjoy the remainder of your day taking full advantage of the Uvero Beach Club. Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age, weigh no more than 240 lbs. and be in good physical condition. Your relaxing fun-filled day begins with a short scenic ride to a quaint marina where you’ll board the catamaran. At the marina dock, your friendly crew will greet you and acquaint you with the vessel. Glide along the eastern end of the island before setting sail to the most pristine of the U.S. Virgin Islands. The brisk sail across Pillsbury Sound brings the catamaran to its special mooring destination where you can swim on a beautiful St. John beach, snorkel, or simply relax under the palms. Enjoy freshly baked breads, cheeses, fruits, and a variety of beverages onboard. Champagne and other beverages are complimentary after swimming and snorkeling. After your relaxing stay at the beach, delight in the tropical breezes as you make the downwind return sail to St. Thomas. Note: Wear your swimsuit, and bring a towel and sunscreen. Participants must be at least 4 years of age and able to navigate a six-step ladder through a hatchway to access the restroom on board. There are several steps required to enter and exit the water. Discover the real Barbados above and below, really! Board these specially designed 4x4 vehicles for a scenic drive as your driver guide takes you to some of the more beautiful places around the island and entertains you with his great sense of humor and knowledge of the island. Your first stop is Harrison Cave's dub as one of the ten wonders of the world. Then prepare for an exciting one mile journey onboard an electric Tram through underground caverns of stalactites, stalagmites and fast flowing streams. After, re-board your 4x4 vehicle where you will then venture off-road through Joe's River Forest and its towering trees as we descend onto the East Coast in Bathsheba for refreshments and breathtaking scenery of the unusual rock formations created by the pounding Atlantic Surf. The experience continues cross country some 1000 feet above sea level before you descend on the west coast home to the rich and world famous, Sandy Lane Hotel, before you return to the port. Travel off-road on ATV 'quads' en route to discover the interior of the Samana Peninsula. At the tender pier, you’ll board your transportation and be transferred to Ranch Gina where you’ll receive a safety briefing and instructions on the operation of your ATV. Then, you're off, caravan style to discover the back-roads and areas of interest while your tour guide provides narration. Your first visit will be to a typical Dominican rural house and learn about the culture and way of life of the Dominican people. Continue to La Cascada Lulu for a photo stop. The Condado Lagoon has the best view of the city with its striking skylines, monuments, parks, and the marine life. The tour includes transportation from your ship to the entrance of the lagoon. Here you’ll meet with your instructors/guide who will provide you all the rental equipment needed. No experience is necessary! Your aquatic trip begins by passing beneath the San Anton bridge, and if you’re lucky spot the bright red starfish. Your first stop is at a secluded beach, where in the shallow waters, the instructor will provide more paddle boarding technics and participants will be able to stand in the boards. Continue exercising, while having fun towards your second point of interest, the Baldorioty de Castro Monument. Take a dip in the water and re-board the paddle board towards the Laguna de Condado Park. In the park, we’ll step off the paddleboards and take a look at the exhibits commissioned by the city and learn about the surroundings. We then board our paddleboards again, and make the final push. Reboard your transport for the ride to the Taino Park where you'll experience a recreated history of the lifestyles of the pre-Columbian inhabitants of the island of Hispaniola, the Taino people. Head out to the second largest barrier reef in the world to learn about Roatan’s history underwater. Yes, you'll actually learn about it while snorkeling the pristine, calm waters just inside the reef as you visit the Underwater Museum. The coral garden will showcase the abundant marine life on the island. Roatan’s history goes back to the Maya civilization, and travels through time witnessing the arrival of the Conquistadores, the Garifuna and the fishing industry. During your tour today, you'll visit the Underwater Museum which showcases artifacts from each of those periods - including a sunken Spanish galleon - all surrounded by a beautiful coral garden on the barrier reef. After departing the pier on the way to the museum, your friendly guide will provide you with very useful and important information about the island. Upon arrival at the museum, you'll receive a safety briefing and your snorkel equipment and will head out to the starting point just a few yards off the dock on a boat for the 60-minute snorkel tour. Your snorkeling guides will be with you all the time to make sure you follow the path. Bring your waterproof camera as this is truly a unique snorkeling experience. After the snorkel tour, you'll have some free time to take photos and relax before returning to the cruise ship pier where your tour will come to an end. Take a journey into the heart of rural Chiapas for a deeper understanding of the local people and landscapes. Discover the culture that blends ancient traditions with modern necessity. Your guide will acquaint you with the history of the region, its people and traditions, as well as the growing and collection process of the bananas. Your experienced crew caters to your every whim during your cruise. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride or learn some sailing basics. You can even help trim the sails or take the helm. Once anchored at Buck Island's Turtle Cove, your crew leads a guided snorkeling tour or you may choose to snorkel with a buddy. Explore coral-covered boulders, observe tropical fish, and possibly encounter an endangered green sea turtle. If you prefer to stay dry, relax on the spacious deck or in the shaded area. The stay at Turtle Cove is approximately 90 minutes. Snacks and complimentary rum drinks, beers, and soft drinks are served after your snorkel. After sampling Cayman’s world famous Rum Cake it’s time to take a trip to the brewing facilities of Seven Fathom’s Rum to see the unique brewing process of Grand Cayman’s first and only Rum distillery. During the guided tour you will see a brief informative video of the history of Cayman rum and culture and of course have a taste of our award winning Seven Fathom’s Rum! After the rum tasting, you are on your own to enjoy the ocean view, have lunch at the restaurant (not included) or take advantage of the water sports onsite. Begin your tour with a panoramic view of the military fort of San Felipe de Barajas. Situated outside the walled city, this monumental fort is considered to be the most outstanding feat of Spanish military engineering in the New World. Continue to the El Cabrero neighborhood for a visit to the Rafael Nunez House and Museum. Rafael Nunez is one of the most illustrious cartageneros of all times. He became president of Colombia four times and created the constitution of 1886. The house where he lived and died is built in the spectacular Antilles architectural style and is now a museum. During your guided walk you'll admire some of the best-preserved Colonial Spanish architecture in South America with its imposing merchant's houses, narrow streets, flower-bedecked balconies stunning civic buildings and beautiful churches. Next, visit the Dungeons within the walled city ramparts, which were built to store provisions for the troops and are now home to a high quality handicrafts market selling brightly decorated cloth, woodwork and woven bags made by some of the indigenous peoples of Colombia. Your tour continues to the Palace of Inquisition. The aim of the Inquisition was to judge crimes against the Catholic faith, but it never recognized anyone's innocence. This building whose construction was finished in 1776 is an example of civilian architecture of the 18th century. Walk to the Plaza Bolivar where you'll visit the Gold Museum which houses a complete and beautiful archeological display of the pre-Colombian cultures and the fabled El Dorado. You'll have some spare time for shopping in the old city for the famous Colombian emeralds or an opportunity to take more pictures of this lovely city. Note: The Gold Museum is closed on Mondays when it will be substituted by a visit to Galeria Cano next door, which has replicas of the Gold Museum. The visit to San Felipe Fortress is only Panoramic; there is approximately 20 minutes stay in Las Bovedas and approximately 30 minutes at the emerald shops. Rafael Nunez House will be closed until June 2013; San Agustin Cloister will be visited instead. less

Board your guided air-conditioned transportation and pass through Puntarenas and its surrounding mangroves. Then, proceed southward along the coast past the port of Caldera and small fishing villages, such as Mata de Limon. Next, head inland into the coastal range of mountains passing by small farming communities such as Tivies and Ceiba. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to see typical Costa Rican rural life. Along the way, you may encounter different species of birds as well as sugar cane, bananas, coffee, mangos and other crops that are often exported to North America and Europe. Continue traveling south until you reach Tarcoles River, where sightings of very large crocodiles can frequently be seen. This is where your Canopy Tour adventure will begin. Upon arrival to the canopy tour reception, you’ll get geared up with the necessary equipment and briefed on safety instructions. You’ll be guided on a 15 to 20 minute walk through the tropical transition forest to the beginning of the tour. Once here, you’ll proceed to the first horizontal traverse cable. The Original Canopy tour consists of nine observation platforms, and eight horizontal traverse cables connected between the immense trees of this tropical paradise. Your journey through the trees will take approximately one hour. Here, you may see deer, monkeys and a variety of birds including the endangered scarlet macaw, orchids, bromeliads and mahogany trees. At the end of the tour you'll receive a complimentary bottle of water. Other beverages and souvenirs will be available for purchase once back at the reception area. Experience Puerto Vallarta in all its glory. Travel along the main highway to Old Town, along the city’s cobblestone streets for a stop at City Hall and the Cathedral of the Lady of Guadalupe. Pass the elegant area of Conchas Chinas on your way to the southern end of town. Finally, stop at a charming restaurant for a complimentary beverage before heading to Old Town for some shopping. You’ll be assigned a time to rejoin your coach for the return trip to your ship. You may choose to stay in town on your own or return to your ship. Experience the thrill of a zip-line canopy tour without missing out on the rainforest’s rich wildlife. This innovative ‘Tranopy’ tour combines the in-depth forest view of an aerial tram with the excitement of a canopy tour. Your naturalist guide will accompany you to point out some of the secrets of the primary and secondary rainforest that surrounds you. Your Tranopy tour starts with a ride on the famous tram where you’ll experience all the different layers of the rainforest, from the floor up to the treetops. Silently glide through the colorful, complex beauty of the rainforest canopy. The 30-minute tram ride will bring you through the forest, over tumbling cascades and to the beginning of your canopy adventure. You’ll experience canopying though ten cables – five of which are over 200 meters long. To your right, you’ll find the dense rainforest, and to your left is an extensive view of the valley all the way to the Pacific Ocean. Over 1.5 kilometers of cables will take you through everything from the rich rainforest ecosystems to sweeping views high above the forest floor. Start your 'magical family adventure' in the world’s most beautiful dolphinarium. Located just a short walk from Cozumel’s shopping area, it’s the only place in all the Caribbean where you can interact with dolphins for approximately 40 minutes in the safety of a calm ocean cove. Before entering the water, each participant is briefed by one of our knowledgeable and professional trainers about the dolphins’ behavior as well as the basic guidelines of the program. This program is conducted on a submerged platform and is a very hands-on program, allowing you, in a controlled and safe setting to get an up close and personal anatomy lesson on dolphins as well as learning about their different behaviors. You’ll be able to touch their velvety soft skin, listen to them sing and watch them play. You’ll also receive a kiss and a friendly fin shake. At the ruins, your guide takes you through this breathtaking site named after the majestic cahoon palm tree that grows fronds up to 40 feet tall. Kohunlich Ruins include a sunken palace, acropolis, ball court, courtyards and the main attraction - the masks. Climb the pyramid-like temple for a view of the unique 10-foot high sculpted masks of the sun god 'Kinich Ahau.' Built before 500 A.D., these marvelous masks still retain some of their original colored stucco. Note: There is a government tax of $5-8 US for the use of video cameras at the site. No tripods and/or professional video cameras are allowed. A boxed lunch and a complimentary bottle of water is included. less

For the snorkeling enthusiast, this tour combines two of the best areas in the emerald waters of Huatulco. From the pier area it is a 10-minute sail to La Entrega Beach, while a site briefing is given. There you’ll enjoy 45 minutes of snorkeling in the calm, translucent waters of the area and be amazed at the variety of marine life seen on the coral reef. Next is a 20-minute trip to Cacaluta Bay, which some locals call King's Beach because it was the favorite of King Juan Carlos I of Spain on his 1993 visit to Huatulco. Along the way, you’ll pass by the spectacular blowhole and Organo and Maguey Bays. Snorkel another 45 minutes from the boat in the passage between the island and beach, an outstanding pristine place with white coral and rocks. Note: Participants must be at least 16 years of age and in good physical condition. Wear your swimsuit and bring a towel and sunscreen. You’ll be required to sign a waiver release form in order to participate. Some light current might be present. Participants should be able to get in and out of the boat by ladder. Depending on weather, water clarity and sea conditions, the above itinerary may vary and/or the stop at Cacaluta could be changed to an alternate site. All dives will be from the boat with no beach snorkeling. There are no showers on the boat. less

Take a bus ride from your ship to the West End. After a brief orientation, you’ll receive your mask, fin snorkel and snorkel vest. Jump into the beautiful waters of Half Moon Bay to explore this colorful underwater world and the variety of fish in Roatans first Marine Park. Before heading to your kayaking experience, enjoy a great lunch including fresh fruits and quesadillas, as well as water, lemonade and iced-tea all day. Next, after a briefing on kayaking and after receiving your life preserver, take a kayak trip down to West Bay where you’ll stop on the beach. Here you'll have a wonderful experience with nature as you mingle among hundreds of iguanas that live in their natural habitat but are as tame as pets. Watch massive tarpons swim alongside the barracuda and other shell fish species such as Caribbean lobsters and conch at the Fish Nursery. Visit an exclusive private estate known as Cindy’s Paradise Place at the top of First Bight Community. Enjoy stunning views of the whole island surrounded by the world-famous barrier reef. Begin your tour with a view of the impressive military fort of San Felipe de Barajas, the greatest and strongest fortress ever built by the Spaniards in their colonies. This is an exceptional accomplishment of Spanish military engineering where construction began in 1656 and lasted for 121 years. At the Rafael Nuñez House, a horse carriage ride will take you through the narrow streets of the walled city where you’ll find Colonial houses and squares such as La Merced, Santo Domingo, Custom Square, San Pedro Claver, and the beautiful Baroque door of the Inquisition Palace at Bolivar Square. Visit the dungeons within the walled city ramparts which were built to store provisions for the troops and are now home to a high quality handicrafts market. An approximately 45-minute drive up the Northern Highway brings you to Tower Hill, where you'll board a riverboat and head up the New River. While navigating the many little creeks and lagoons, it's easy to encounter hawks, kites and falcons. Dainty jacanas lightly walk on the lily pads while crocodiles bask in the sunlight. At the entrance to the New River Lagoon, the ruins of Lamanai (Mayan for 'submerged crocodile') rise into view. As you tour the site, huge masks depicting dead rulers and gods seem to materialize out of the rainforest, amid the chatter of birds and the haunting call of the howler monkeys. less

Your dolphin encounter in Roatan takes place in a natural setting that resembles a Tahitian island village. The resort is laid out on two small keys, one of which is the private home to a large family of Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. You’ll travel across the resort's lagoon to Bailey’s Key where your encounter will begin with a brief orientation at a beachfront cabana. Following the orientation, you'll walk along a white sandy beach to into gin-clear, waist-deep Caribbean waters and join trained naturalists, where you'll receive a personal introduction to a resident dolphin. The trainer will describe the dolphins’ characteristics, anatomy and behaviors and give you the opportunity to touch, kiss and play with a member of this friendly family of marine mammals. During the session you'll have excellent photo opportunities in addition to professional photographs that will be taken of you and your new friends.
