Take a sleek, powerboat or pontoon cat to the snorkel site, home to the endangered hawksbill and green turtles. After snorkeling with the turtles, explore the hidden bays along the west coast as your guide regales you with local folklore. Then, head to the south coast to visit the Berwyn shipwreck in Carlisle Bay. A final stop is made at one of Barbados' most beautiful beaches where you can swim or relax before returning to your ship. Note: Participants must be at least 5 years of age, in good health and must be able to walk and swim unassisted. Maximum weight is 250 lbs. Sea conditions may determine changes to the tour stops. Board your open-air transportation and travel along picturesque Skyline Drive offering vistas of Magen’s Bay and Charlotte Amalie. Enjoy a photo stop before continuing to the legendary 17th-century Blackbeard's Castle. Explore the surrounding Kongens Quarter, the former center of Danish colonial enterprise. Visit several National Landmark Properties and colonial manor houses dating back to the late 1600s. Besides Blackbeard's Castle, other historic structures include Villa Notman, Britannia House, Crown House (once used by visiting Danish royalty), Haagensen House, and Hotel 1829 - all listed in the National Register of Historic Places. See the world's largest collection of life-sized pirate sculptures, crafted in copper and bronze, and the extensive collection of authentic hand-made West Indian mahogany furniture. You will also visit the Caribbean World Amber Museum, the Rum Museum and Factory, and West Indian Treasure Company. A short walk away is Main Street duty-free shopping where you are then responsible for your return back to the ship. Note: Your tour concludes on Main Street for recommended shopping. Tour duration is approximately 4 hours depending upon your personal touring and shopping time. In order to allow for a leisurely shopping experience, this tour ends Downtown. Return to the ship is on your own and taxi safaris are readily available Downtown. The cost is approximately $4.00 per person. Experience on-the-water excitement with a two-man Rhino Rider; a 10-foot inflatable motorboat that is yours to command. Following your guide, you'll maneuver safely through anchorages for hundreds of boats and alongside mega-yacht marinas before exiting the lagoon into Marigot, the French capital of the island. View historic Fort Louis before continuing along the picturesque coastline to your final destination at Happy Bay. It’s your choice whether you hike the trail, snorkel the reef or build sandcastles on the beach - the time is yours to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Note: Participants must be at least 10 years of age and at least 18 years of age to operate the Rhino. Maximum combined weight is 400 lbs. per boat. Tour is not recommended for pregnant women or those with back problems. Snorkel gear is provided. This tour is on the French side of the island, where some nudity may be observed. If you have ever wanted to try Scuba diving now is the time! No certification required. Take a short boat ride to the dive site and discover what underwater life awaits you within swimming distance of the boat. You'll receive a detailed lecture, including equipment usage and taught basic Scuba diving skills. After the training and orientation session you'll experience the undersea world to view the diverse tropical marine life, coral reefs and sunken wrecks. Highlights include coral, fishes, a sunken submarine, a sunken helicopter, and a few cannons originally from Fort Amsterdam, perched above Little Bay. This introduction to Scuba diving is designed for the non-diver and is easy, safe and fun. Your course and dive tour will be conducted by a PADI certified dive instructor to ensure your safety and maximize your enjoyment. After this experience, you'll wonder why you took so long to discover Scuba diving. Note: Participants must be at least 10 years of age and weigh no more than 300 lbs. less

If you are the kind of person who likes to ‘shop ‘til you drop’ in the morning or just do not want to rush and have lunch on the ship, then you may be wondering how to spend the afternoon? Why not take a trouble-free trip to the beach with us and take advantage of what St. Martin is famous for – it’s beaches. Unwind on one of the Caribbean’s best beaches, Orient Bay. You’ll be driven in air-conditioned transportation to the beach and be greeted by one of our guides who will orient you with all the facilities. You’ll be supplied with a lounge chair and cushion in an area reserved just for you, and you’ll also enjoy unlimited rum or fruit punch! For approximately two hours you can just relax in the sun, swim, or explore the one-and-a-half miles of beach. You can also take advantage of the largest selection of water sports on the island (at an additional cost), including parasailing, wave runners and non-motorized craft. We have gift shops and you can even get a massage, you name it – we have it! We are the beach experts! Double umbrellas are available to rent.
