Take a sleek, powerboat or pontoon cat to the snorkel site, home to the endangered hawksbill and green turtles. After snorkeling with the turtles, explore the hidden bays along the west coast as your guide regales you with local folklore. Then, head to the south coast to visit the Berwyn shipwreck in Carlisle Bay. A final stop is made at one of Barbados' most beautiful beaches where you can swim or relax before returning to your ship. Note: Participants must be at least 5 years of age, in good health and must be able to walk and swim unassisted. Maximum weight is 250 lbs. Sea conditions may determine changes to the tour stops. Have a fun time at Atlantis. Wade into the waters of one of the world’s newest and largest dolphin habitats where you will touch, hug, and even kiss your new dolphin friends. Watch as they show off their playful side through some of their favorite behaviors. This intimate interaction begins with an orientation and includes 30-minutes in the water. Let the dolphins of Atlantis welcome you to join in the fun. Wet suits, personal lockers, beach towels, and non-alcoholic refreshments are provided. You’ll receive an Atlantis map, which will allow you to take a self-guided tour at your leisure of the Ruins Lagoon, a recreation of the sunken streets of mythical Atlantis and the Dig, a replica of an archaeological excavation site. Enjoy complimentary soft drinks while sunbathing at Dolphin’s Cay private beach. Note: Bring your swimsuit. Participants must be at least 2 years of age. For children under 10 years of age, a parent or appointed guardian must participate in the program. Wetsuits are mandatory. Children must be able to comprehend and follow instructions. Wear comfortable shoes as there is a considerable amount of walking once at the resort. This tour has access to Dolphin Cay private beach to sunbathe and watch the dolphins only; however swimming is not allowed. For the safety of everyone, observers must remain on the beach and are not permitted to enter the water. Dolphin Observer tickets are sold onboard only. This tour is non-refundable. The transportation for this tour is by bus, approximately 25-minutes each way depending on traffic conditions. Guests participating on an Atlantis Shore Excursion must arrive at the place and time stated on the Shore Excursion ticket. Atlantis tour tickets will not be honored at the resort. There is a considerable amount of walking on this tour (approximately 0.4 miles). Duration of tour may vary. Everybody Loves our friendly Rays! Enjoy two great ray activities; a personal encounter plus shore-side snorkeling, then relax and have fun at our private shore club with its resident, friendly critters, and water trampoline. Mere minutes from your ship, you are given all your snorkeling gear, then you're briefed on equipment and the rays. Your guide works with small groups to give you personal attention. First, you’ll encounter the rays in a shallow area and get to feed them if you like. Then, you'll move to a larger area for snorkeling with a larger school of rays and all their colorful fish friends. Finally, you’ll have some beach club leisure time, complete with a snack bar, souvenirs and photos available of your experience. Note: Participants must be at least 4 years old. No pregnancies, back or heart conditions. Facilities are available to shower/change clothes, (please bring your own towel). All stingray barbs are trimmed. In 1494, when the Spanish discovered Jamaica, they named the village Ocho Rios, after the wondrous 'eight rivers' they saw here. Today you’ll explore one of those eight rivers that the Spanish found - the amazing, untouched White River. Take a step back in time when your adventure begins at the 17th-century landmark, Spanish Bridge. This is a site you can only see on your river tubing expedition. As you get ready to journey down the cool waters of the White River, which gained its name from the pristine clarity of its water, you’ll receive a safety briefing from your experienced guides who will also outfit you with all of your safety equipment for your journey ahead. This three-mile ride down the White River not only gives you the rich history of Jamaica, it shows you the beauty of our land as you pass by coconut plantations, bamboo groves and along river banks filled with indigenous flora and fauna. The real adventure lies in the White River as you enjoy her many moods, which will bring you to challenging rapids and enchanting lagoons. The breathtaking views and vistas of this tour, which takes you between two of our island’s most scenic parishes, St. Mary and St. Ann on what locals call the 'Interparish Express', can only be found on the River Tubing Safari Tour. As you disembark the White River, you’ll find yourself in one of Jamaica’s most beautiful valleys. The White River Valley property is a garden paradise with over 100 species of flowers for your viewing pleasure. The property’s facilities and buildings mirror the architecture of a traditional Jamaican village, so be sure to stop by Parrot Bar and indulge in some of our traditional Jamaican jerk cuisine, refresh yourself with a cool drink, browse the Valley Trader gift shop or just take in the sights of the real Jamaica. You will be met at your ship and taken to the Antigua rainforest. A welcome drink will be offered. After being briefed by fully trained and experienced guides your exhilarating tour begins. The Antigua Canopy Tour is a unique and award winning eco-tour through Antigua’s lush rainforest, where you embark on an unforgettable journey through the verdant forest, high above the trees. Your tour starts at the architectural pleasing Old Pump House with a walk over a suspension bridge from the side of the building, which spans the gorge to the far bank. Once across the bridge, there is a 12 zip lines journey through the forest begins as you trail to the start aerial zips, crisscrossing the gorge. There are zip lines of 52 feet to 328 feet in length. The geography of the gorge dictates that you are above the treetops for large parts of the run – exiting and entering a corridor in the foliage at either end. There are a series of 12 zip lines, 4 aerial walkways, 1 tree house and 2 suspension bridges giving you a wonderful opportunity to have a bird’s eye view of the flora and fauna in the rainforest. You will have some short trails into the gorge and then a series of connecting zip lines and bridges, which crisscross the gorge at tree canopy level. The gorge is full of interesting plants and fruits and has a definite “tropical” feel to it especially when you take a break in our tree house, hidden from the rest of the world! Within the gorge there is a series of large trees and certain features; prominent boulders and a rock pool. The gorge offers a shaded area with interesting plants with a range of wild fruits, vines, mosses and lichens. Mineral water is available at several water stations through the tour. Once back you will be offered a certificate of achievement and time to relax on our verandah with a cool drink or take some time to look at photographs or choose a souvenir from our well stocked gift shop.
