Enjoy an exhilarating America’s Cup style match racing experience aboard two former team New Zealand, America’s Cup racing yachts, NZL 10 and NZL 12. You’ll get a safety briefing by a professional crew. Once prepped, you’ll be given instructions on which ropes to pull or where to sit to get the best view of the action. You’ll be encouraged to be part of the racing crew, trim the sails, take the helm or work the grinders; you can also sit back, relax and watch all the action happening right in front of you. Then, it’s out sailing through the crystal clear waters off Paradise Island, overlooking beautiful Nassau. Lastly, head back to the dock for a complimentary drink. Begin your tour with a view of the impressive military fort of San Felipe de Barajas, the greatest and strongest fortress ever built by the Spaniards in their colonies. This is an exceptional accomplishment of Spanish military engineering where construction began in 1656 and lasted for 121 years. At the Rafael Nuñez House, a horse carriage ride will take you through the narrow streets of the walled city where you’ll find Colonial houses and squares such as La Merced, Santo Domingo, Custom Square, San Pedro Claver, and the beautiful Baroque door of the Inquisition Palace at Bolivar Square. Visit the dungeons within the walled city ramparts which were built to store provisions for the troops and are now home to a high quality handicrafts market. Enjoy 20 minutes of quality dolphin time! It’s a combination of both shallow water and deep-water interaction. Half the time is spent sitting waist-high on a submerged platform where the dolphins come right up to your lap. The other half of the program takes place in the deeper water where you are observing the dolphins swimming under and around you, having a chance to see them through a mask and experience more interaction. Board your mono-hull glass-bottom boat for a narrated cruise along Nassau’s coastline. Your guide will share general information about Nassau and the Bahamas and point out historical sites and homes of the rich and famous. This tour combines the SeaWorld Explorer tour with a one-hour city tour of Nassau. Take a scenic boat cruise past downtown Nassau and famous Paradise Island aboard a custom-built transfer boat. SNUBA is a combination of snorkeling and Scuba diving, made fun, safe and easy. Take a splendid tour of St. Thomas in a custom vehicle that's fully equipped for limited mobility and wheelchair access, as well as anyone who wishes to enjoy the leisurely pace of this excursion. Board your custom vehicle and travel west past the airport and College of the Virgin Islands, as your guide shares local knowledge of the island's history, landmarks and legends. Stop along the way at points of interest and enjoy ample time for photo opportunities. Travel up Black Point Hill for a photo stop, then on to the north side of the island. You’ll stop at Drake's Seat overlooking famous Magen’s Bay and then continue to Mahogany Run for the panorama of the golf course. You’ll go to Beacon Point for a view of the east side of the island. A short 15 minute drive south of Roseau takes you through the picturesque village of Pointe Michel to the Irie Safari's watersports facility at Champagne. Champagne is Dominica's premier diving and snorkeling site. The reef here is quite spectacular where you can expect to see a myriad of sea life including sponges, lobster, parrot fish and a resident population of Hawksbill turtles. Upon arrival at the watersports center, you’ll be outfitted with snorkeling gear and given an orientation. The tour of the reef is led by a professional PADI certified "Dive master" who will instruct you on the correct use of your gear and brief you on what you are likely to see and experience once in the water. After your tour you can enjoy the comfort and convenience of the center with showers, changing rooms, refreshments, gift shop and a sundeck overlooking the beautiful Caribbean Sea. Most people do not realize that chocolate was first discovered in Mexico and processed by the Aztec and Mayan Indians. But these Indians created chocolate items and drinks that are very different from the kinds of refined milk chocolate items we are familiar with from Europe. In fact, to their everlasting regret, the Mexicans never thought of adding milk to their recipes, but DID create many tasty, unusual and intriguing chocolate foods. You will be transferred to a quiet Ocean View terrace where you will first be presented with a Chocolate Martini (adults only) before this in-depth presentation gets underway describing the many stages the chocolate seed pods must go through. By grinding together some of the traditional ingredients, guests get to participate first hand in some of the same chocolate processing techniques that after many centuries are still used by the Mayans. The session will culminate in the tasting of the various chocolate items produced. After the Chocolate portion of the tour, guests will have time to shop from a large variety of chocolate products including shampoo and have the option either to go back to their ship or go to downtown. Step aboard this 1.5 hour Trolley Train Tour around the capital of Dominica. The train makes a stop at the Botanical Gardens, visits a city view point, a Catholic church and a local bar. First we will make a stop at the historical Roseau Cathedral and get the opportunity to visit this old colonial church and take photos. From here we will head towards the Botanical Gardens where we will take an optional walk through the Gardens with its large exotic trees and plants. Next stop will be at a view point with excellent photo opportunities overlooking the capital with the cruise line and the Caribbean sea in the background. On the way you will see bustling street life and vendors as the train goes through the most unspoiled and untouched capital of the Caribbean. The conductor will point out buildings and landmarks as you pass them by. Take a photo of the colonial architecture as you passing through the winding alleys and streets. Last stop will be at a bar which is known for its great waterfront facilities. Here you will get a complimentary fruit or rum punch and listen to some Caribbean music. First, you’ll head to the historical Morne Bruce for a bird’s eye view of the town of Roseau and the village of Laudat as you drive through the steep rainforest hills of the Trafalgar and Roseau Valleys. At this elevation, several of the major species of trees, including mahot cochon, cre cre, kaklin, balate and carapite, can be seen. The larger species in the surrounding forest support large numbers of epiphytes (air plants) such as orchids, zel mouchs, bromeliads and anthurium. This panoramic rainforest drive includes a partially developed viewpoint overlooking the spectacular Trafalgar Valley with dramatic vertical drops and interlocking spurs. On your return route you will be able to watch traditional basket weaving and have the opportunity to shop for souvenirs. less

This tour is particularly convenient if you went diving or snorkeling in the morning, if you wake very late, or if you just wish to be out for a short time. The tour leaves Roseau and drives you directly to the magnificent Trafalgar Falls. You will spend approximately 45-minutes enjoying the breathtaking scenery of the twin falls at they cascade side by side out of deep gorges on the cliff-face into a pool surrounded by lush ferns. You will also have the chance to shop at the bus stand before you return to your ship. Note: This tour is not recommended for those guests with acute respiratory problems. less
