The highlight of your vacation will be to visit Dolphin Cove where you’ll have the rare opportunity to swim and play with a beautiful bottlenose dolphin. The dolphin-swim experience begins with a brief orientation. Once you enter the water you’ll be introduced to these friendly dolphins for an experience of a lifetime as you feel the magical thrill of 'riding' the dolphin belly to belly as the ocean rushes by. Get to know these animals and how Dolphin Cove’s trainers use hand signals and positive reinforcement to communicate. And if you’re lucky you might even get a kiss or two! Professional photographers will be there to capture the excitement as you enjoy a truly unique experience. Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age. less

Walk to the Snorkel Park, where your snorkel instructor will provide you with instruction on how to operate your Aqua Power Scooter and snorkel equipment. Skim near the surface faster than you can swim, or dive down to take a closer look. You'll have an opportunity to see sea fans, coral and an array of marine life. After your power snorkel experience you’ll have time to enjoy more snorkeling, or lounge with a complimentary beverage at the secluded calm water beach. Note: Participants must be at least 12 years of age and weigh no more than 240 lbs. This tour is not recommended for those with heart conditions or asthma. Snorkel gear (vest, snorkel, mask, fins) is provided. Wear your swimsuit and bring a towel. less

Your dolphin encounter in Roatan takes place in a natural setting that resembles a Tahitian island village. The resort is laid out on two small keys, one of which is the private home to a large family of Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. You’ll travel across the resort's lagoon to Bailey’s Key where your encounter will begin with a brief orientation at a beachfront cabana. Following the orientation, you'll walk along a white sandy beach to into gin-clear, waist-deep Caribbean waters and join trained naturalists, where you'll receive a personal introduction to a resident dolphin. The trainer will describe the dolphins’ characteristics, anatomy and behaviors and give you the opportunity to touch, kiss and play with a member of this friendly family of marine mammals. During the session you'll have excellent photo opportunities in addition to professional photographs that will be taken of you and your new friends. These photographs will be available for purchase following the encounter. Note: Participants must be at least 6 years of age. less

SNUBA is a unique, patented shallow water diving system, bridging the gap between snorkeling and Scuba diving. It is easy and does not require certification. There is no heavy diving gear as SNUBA divers breathe underwater by means of a 20-foot airline connected to a Scuba tank mounted on a raft at the surface and follows your every movement underwater. You’ll often see starfish, rays, octopus and juvenile fish. The coral reef is filled with tropical fish. Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age. Due to restrictions by the Dive Provider, any participants currently taking any medication or with a previous medical condition should bring a note from their primary physician stating that they are medically cleared to participate on this excursion. less

Immerse yourself in the legend of Atlantis during this exciting excursion. After an approximately 25-minute bus transfer to Paradise Island, you’ll be escorted to the resort for a guided exploration of Atlantis, to experience the most mystifying and spectacular resort to have risen from the sea. Discover the world’s largest marine habitat, and view over 50,000 sea animals representing 200 different species. Also explore the Dig, which will reveal how Atlantean culture flourished over 11,000 years ago. Come to discover a continent in just one day at Atlantis Paradise Island. At the conclusion of the guided portion of the tour, you’ll have some time on your own to return to the Dig and its exhibits, shop at the Marina Village, visit the casino, explore the hotel’s grand lobby or have a bite to eat at your own expense. Note: Participants ages 3 or younger receive free admission if accompanied by a participating paying adult (parent or guardian at least 18 years of age). This tour does not include access or use of the resort pool, beach or water slides and is not recommended for those with physical limitations. Although most walking is on level terrain, this is a walking tour and there is a considerable amount of walking involved. The Atlantis Resort uses a cashless system at many of its outdoor food and beverage venues located near the beach area. Guests should bring a credit card to use at these locations. Cash venues are very limited. Transportation for this tour is by bus, there is approximately 25 minutes each way depending on traffic conditions. Guests participating on an Atlantis Shore Excursion must arrive at the place and time stated on the Shore Excursion ticket. Atlantis tour tickets will not be honored at the resort. less
