This tour will take you along Bay Street, the heart of Nassau’s shopping district, to the Queen's Staircase built in the days of England's Queen Victoria, it consists of over 65 steps cut out of solid coral rock. Catch your breath and shop around the kiosk before going to your next stop, Fort Fincastle. This fort was built in 1793 and it was designed based on the shape of a paddle wheel steamer. Next, take an outside visit to Fort Charlotte, built in the British-Colonial era to defend the island against marauding pirates. Before returning to your ship, there will be a brief photo stop at the famous Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island. Note: Fort Charlotte will be an outside visit. less

Board your mono-hull glass-bottom boat for a narrated cruise along Nassau’s coastline. Your guide will share general information about Nassau and the Bahamas and point out historical sites and homes of the rich and famous. Once the vessel is positioned over the reef; you’ll be guided down to the viewing deck. Here, you’ll be given an informative briefing of all that you see through the glass. Afterward, you’ll slowly cruise back through the harbor to the pier, while enjoying complimentary rum or fruit punch. Note: Participants must be able to walk onto the boat via the gangway. There are 10 to 12 steps to access the viewing deck. Participants must be at least 21 years of age to consume alcohol. An approximately 10 to 15-minute walk is required to board transportation for all Nassau tours. less

Upon arrival, the energetic staff of PADI-certified dive masters will brief you on the coral reef, safety procedures and snorkel equipment. You’ll have unlimited time to stay and enjoy the location and facilities. Note: Participants must be at least 4 years of age. Fresh water showers, a restaurant/snack bar and restrooms are available. There are lockers available for rental and photos are available for purchase after the tour. less

This tour combines the SeaWorld Explorer tour with a one-hour city tour of Nassau. Take a scenic boat cruise past downtown Nassau and famous Paradise Island aboard a custom-built transfer boat. Arriving at the Sea Gardens Marine Park at Athol Island, board the SeaWorld Explorer, a modern underwater-viewing vessel from which you’ll have the chance to see a 70-year-old shipwreck and dozens of species of tropical fish like yellowtail snapper, sergeant majors and parrotfish swimming in a delicate colony of coral thousands of years in the making. After exploring this underwater world, board a minibus for a tour of Nassau. Travel to historic Bay Street in downtown, and Rawson Square - the traditional center of the Bahamian Government. Learn about the picturesque pastel buildings, erected in the early 1800s, which include the House of Parliament, the old Colonial Secretary’s Office and the Supreme Court. Your next stop will be Fort Fincastle and the Queen’s Staircase, sitting atop one of the highest points in Nassau. Also, drive past the Governor’s Mansion and see the impressive statue of Christopher Columbus. Note: Sequence of stops on land may vary due to traffic conditions on the day of the tour. Transfer by boat from the dock in Nassau for an approximately 20-minute scenic ride through the waterway that divides the two famous sections of New Providence Island. Take in the sights of Nassau and Paradise Island, with its famous resorts surrounded by multi-million dollar homes of the rich and famous and marinas boasting opulent yachts. Arriving at the underwater marine park at Athol Island, transfer to the SeaWorld Explorer underwater viewing vessel. Described as a state-of-the-art glass-bottom boat, this moving underwater observatory offers a cruise while you are seated five feet below the surface of the water in air-conditioned comfort, with a view through clear glass windows. The waters around the island are known as the Sea Gardens, and are filled with shipwrecks and dozens of tropical fish, like yellowtail snapper, sergeant majors, parrotfish and queen angelfish. Get a bird’s eye view of Paradise Island, Atlantis Resort, Cable beach and the downtown area of Nassau from 400 feet above. Your flight will begin and end from the Parasail boat deck. Enjoy a complimentary rum or fruit punch en route to the parasailing boat. Note: Participants must be at least 6 years of age and weigh no more than 275 lbs. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a participating adult. The maximum combined weight for this tour is 450 lbs. All flights are tandem or triple (2 or 3 persons). You can explore with a guide or on your own with a self-guided map. Start at the four-screen video room, where every corner of Mexico comes to life through images set to bracing traditional music. Then meander through the garden’s tropical flowers and trees, home to macaws, turtles and iguanas. Look for the Mayas’ sacred Ceiba trees, symbol of their entire cosmos. Lining your path are intricate scale replicas of the great pyramids of the Maya, Aztec and other ancient civilizations, as well as later monuments. Board your custom vehicle and travel west past the airport and College of the Virgin Islands, as your guide shares local knowledge of the island's history, landmarks and legends. Stop along the way at points of interest and enjoy ample time for photo opportunities. Travel up Black Point Hill for a photo stop, then on to the north side of the island. You’ll stop at Drake's Seat overlooking famous Magen’s Bay and then continue to Mahogany Run for the panorama of the golf course. You’ll go to Beacon Point for a view of the east side of the island. Then enjoy the scenery along Skyline Drive with views of the Caribbean, through the historic downtown and back to your ship. From the sultry history of the French Quarter to the grand majesty of St. Charles Avenue’s stately mansions, this tour has it all. Your guide ushers you through the city’s most fascinating neighborhoods, landmarks and cemeteries, while sharing interesting facts and fabled stories. Once aboard your comfortable coach, sit back and enjoy a narrated tour including the renowned French Quarter, Jackson Square, the Cabildo, (seat of the old Spanish government) and the architecture that makes New Orleans unique among American cities. Travel down historic Esplanade Avenue, the 'Grand Boulevard of the Creoles' and stop briefly at the St. Louis Cemetery, where your guide explains New Orleans' unique custom of above-ground burials.
