Visit the most tangible piece of Caymanian heritage by interacting with marine turtles, learning about the conservation efforts and how the turtle is such an integral part of Caymanian lifestyle. Open since 1968, the historic Cayman Turtle Farm, the only one of its kind in the world, is home to over 8,000 green sea turtles ranging in size from hatchlings to 600 pounds each. Passing through the Reception building, guests are immediately able to see the larger turtles in the impressive Breeding Pond. The exhibit is viewed against a heavily landscaped background of lush vegetation and palm trees. Veering to the right, guests can stop and actually handle young turtles in the easily accessible display tanks; a feature sure to be a big hit with all visitors and an amazing and unique photo opportunity. One can also enjoy the wild of the deep blue Caribbean Sea here in our own back yard at the 1.3 million gallon saltwater Turtle Lagoon. Swim and interact with the yearling turtles then come nose-to-nose with sharks and other exotic fish as you peer through the underwater viewing panel of our Predator Tank. Then relax and enjoy a carefree day in the freshwater Breaker’s Lagoon. If you get hungry, the Schooners Bar and Grill is nearby so you can purchase and try mouthwatering local cuisines. For those wanting to take a little of the Cayman Turtle Farm home, stop in and visit our 3,500 square foot Gift Shop "Splash" located in the Reception building featuring Cayman Turtle Farm memorabilia with a range of souvenirs to suit all tastes and budgets. less

The waters around the island are filled with an assortment of colorful marine life and the coral reefs are known for their spectacular drop-offs. A professional local dive operator will take you on a two-tank Scuba adventure to these beautiful reefs. Note: All divers are required to demonstrate clearing a fully flooded mask before participation. Tanks and weights provided. All other equipment may be rented from the dive operator at a nominal charge. Due to restrictions by the Dive Provider, any Scuba participants currently taking any medication or with a previous medical condition should bring a note from their primary physician stating that they are medically cleared to participate on a Scuba excursion. less

Have a fun time at Atlantis. Wade into the waters of one of the world’s newest and largest dolphin habitats where you will touch, hug, and even kiss your new dolphin friends. Watch as they show off their playful side through some of their favorite behaviors. This intimate interaction begins with an orientation and includes 30-minutes in the water. Let the dolphins of Atlantis welcome you to join in the fun. Wet suits, personal lockers, beach towels, and non-alcoholic refreshments are provided. You’ll receive an Atlantis map, which will allow you to take a self-guided tour at your leisure of the Ruins Lagoon, a recreation of the sunken streets of mythical Atlantis and the Dig, a replica of an archaeological excavation site. Enjoy complimentary soft drinks while sunbathing at Dolphin’s Cay private beach. Note: Bring your swimsuit. Participants must be at least 2 years of age. For children under 10 years of age, a parent or appointed guardian must participate in the program. Wetsuits are mandatory. Children must be able to comprehend and follow instructions. Wear comfortable shoes as there is a considerable amount of walking once at the resort. This tour has access to Dolphin Cay private beach to sunbathe and watch the dolphins only; however swimming is not allowed. For the safety of everyone, observers must remain on the beach and are not permitted to enter the water. Dolphin Observer tickets are sold onboard only. This tour is non-refundable. The transportation for this tour is by bus, approximately 25-minutes each way depending on traffic conditions. Guests participating on an Atlantis Shore Excursion must arrive at the place and time stated on the Shore Excursion ticket. Atlantis tour tickets will not be honored at the resort. There is a considerable amount of walking on this tour (approximately 0.4 miles). Duration of tour may vary. Immerse yourself in the beautiful coastline of Costa Maya as you go off road in your own 2-person all-terrain vehicle. Your adventure begins as you’re greeted by your bilingual guide and escorted to your awaiting Kodiak transportation for a short ride to the welcome station. Jump in to your Mini Jeep – a fully automatic Club Car XRT 550 with push button 4-wheel drive, and 4 wheel independent suspension. After listening to a safety briefing and instructions, it’s time to hit the road and enjoy the blast while driving these amazing all-terrain vehicles in a tropical environment. Drive along the coastline over bumpy off-road trails past white sand beaches and the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. After the excitement of the trails, it's time to relax. Go to a beautiful secluded beach, enjoy a nice dip in the ocean, join an optional snorkel trip (gear included) and get in to the Caribbean waters to explore the coral reefs and marine life. Feel the breeze, sit under an umbrella, work on your tan, or simply admire the postcard views of this paradise. When time's up, hop back in the Kodiak truck for a scenic drive back to your ship's pier. Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age. Drivers must be at least 16 years of age and provide a valid driver’s license, and weigh less than 300 lbs. If you are pregnant, have asthma or have had previous neck or back injuries, this tour is not for you. Medical restrictions apply for the snorkel portion. Take a walking tour of historic Cartagena. First, stop for pictures at San Felipe Fortress, considered the largest Spanish fort in the New World. Next, visit the Old City and stroll down its beautiful Colonial streets with its breathtaking balconies and overflowing flowers. Walk through the main plaza and its adjacent streets. See San Pedro Square, Custom’s Square, Bolivar and also Santo Domingo’s Square. Finally, visit the modern city of Bocagrande and the shops at Pierino Gallo Plaza. Upon arrival, you’ll have some free time and refreshments while you browse for emeralds, handcrafts and leather goods. Note: This tour is not recommended for guests with walking difficulties. less
