Travel off-road on ATV 'quads' en route to discover the interior of the Samana Peninsula. At the tender pier, you’ll board your transportation and be transferred to Ranch Gina where you’ll receive a safety briefing and instructions on the operation of your ATV. Then, you're off, caravan style to discover the back-roads and areas of interest while your tour guide provides narration. Your first visit will be to a typical Dominican rural house and learn about the culture and way of life of the Dominican people. Continue to La Cascada Lulu for a photo stop. Your final stop will be a visit to El Valle Beach, a white-sand beach fringed with palm trees. Note: Participants must be at least 18 years of age, weigh no more than 250 lbs, in good health and provide a valid driver's license. All participants are required to sign a waiver. This tour is not recommended for pregnant women and people with neck or back injuries. Wear your swimsuit and bring a towel. There is no swimming at Playa El Valle. less

Mingle with and feed the colorful free flying lovebirds in the bird aviary. Interact with exotic sea creatures in the touch tank display. Enjoy a hands-on experience on how to make unique pottery at Wassi Arts at Dolphin Cove. Watch in amazement as a local wood carver makes ordinary pieces of wood come to life. Visit "Little Port Royal" a replica of Jamaica's most famous pirate "Haunt" and witness pirates roaming through town. Browse through the largest gift shops stocked with the widest range of dolphin souvenirs; visit our jewelry store and craft market for locally hand crafted items. View the rambunctious and hilarious shark show and watch the stingrays in their lagoon as they gracefully glide by. Listen to the rhythms of the Caribbean music as you enjoy a truly Jamaica buffet. Sample the world famous Blue Mountain Coffee and liquors. Have your hair braided and watch our local fashion show. After enjoying this unique experience, spend the rest of the day at Dolphin Cove and all that it has to offer. At the conclusion of your tour you’ll have the option of being dropped-off at a local shopping plaza for shopping time at your leisure and then make your own way back to your ship. Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age. Participants must weigh no more than 250 lbs. Shuttle buses are available at 10-minute intervals to return you to your ship. This tour is not recommended for guests with heart, neck/ back problems, mobility/balance problems or pregnant women. The Dunn’s River Falls are the highlight of Jamaica and tend to be very congested. All guests participating in a tour that visits the falls should wear foot protection that can get wet. River socks are available for rent at the falls. The rocks at the falls are slippery. Climbing the falls is optional and at your own risk. Participants who do not wish to climb the falls may enjoy the small beach at the base. The walk to the beach is on a slope with many stairs, therefore participants should be in reasonably good health. less

Depart the pier to La Popa Monastery, located on top of a hill overlooking Cartagena. This monastery was built at the beginning of the 17th century and houses a Colonial museum and a chapel dedicated to Virgen de la Candelaria, patron saint of Cartagena. Next, make a photo stop at San Felipe Fortress. This castle defended the city from many attacks and withstood the bloodiest assault from the British Admiral Vernon. Then, proceed to the Old City where you’ll walk approximately five blocks in the Colonial part of the city. Once at Bolivar Plaza, you’ll find Saint Peter Claver Church, the cathedral and the Inquisition Palace. After your walk, drive through the modern part of the city to a rest stop at the Pierino Gallo Plaza, for refreshments and some shopping. Afterwards, you’ll visit Pastelillo Fort, constructed in the mid 1700's. This is home to one of the most exclusive restaurants in town, Club de Pesca. Located in a corner of the 300 year old fortress, the restaurant overlooks Cartagena's marina and has a view of the walled city. At this elegant setting, take in the surroundings while enjoying a delicious Caribbean appetizer with a contemporary touch. Note: Bring comfortable clothing and shoes. less

From the Anthony’s Key dock you'll be taken to Bailey's Key for a top-side orientation and Q&A session to learn about diving etiquette with the dolphins. Next, a five minute boat ride will take you to a beautiful reef wall where you'll descend to a white sand bottom at a depth of 60 feet, and then two or three naturally curious dolphins arrive and are free to interact with you as they choose. In this unstructured dive, the complexities of the dolphins’ relationships and communication are revealed as you spend 45 minutes, observing, photographing and playing with the dolphins in the open ocean. These dives are limited to a small group of divers who are accompanied by a dive guide, dolphin behaviorist and video photographer. Note: Participants must be certified as an Open Water Diver. Total time in the water is approximately 45 minutes. Due to restrictions by the Dive Provider, any Scuba participants currently taking any medication or with a previous medical condition should bring a note from their primary physician stating that they are medically cleared to participate on a Scuba excursion. less

Until now, diving Costa Maya has been a closely kept secret and is one of the most pristine dive destinations in the Caribbean. Your excursion begins with a short ride through the quaint town of Mahahual to an eco-friendly dive center. Here you’ll be split up into small groups, gather your gear and board one of our dive boats. You’ll be diving on the spectacular Meso-American Barrier reef, where the reef formations are massive and form huge swim-throughs and ledges. This breathtaking reef is also known for its beautiful corals and exotic marine life. Common marine life includes sea turtles, lobsters, stingrays, nurse sharks, dolphin and an endless variety of tropical reef fish. After your dive excursion you may choose to return to your ship or stay and experience the local culture and beautiful beaches of Mahahual. Once a fishing village, Mahahual is now a small town thriving with wonderful beachfront shops, restaurants, bars, arts and crafts booths, and more. Note: Participants must be at least 10 years of age, weigh no more than 375 lbs., be in good health and present a certification card. Completion of a waiver is required. If you choose to stay in Mahahual after the dive, you are responsible for your transportation back to your ship.
