Be one with the sky as you ride one of the most remarkable attractions in Sweden, the SkyView. The Ericsson Globe Arena, resembling a giant golf ball, is the largest spherical building in the world. An exhilarating ride will take you to the top of the Globe. At 426 feet (130 meters) above sea level, the glass gondola will stop for you to have ample time to marvel over the magnificent view over the city. Continue your introduction tour of Stockholm on the ground with a panoramic drive covering all major sights before stopping at the Vasa Museum, home to the magnificent warship ‘Vasa’. The ‘Vasa’ dates back to the 17th century and is the best preserved warship of its time. You’ll start your tour traveling via motorcoach to the major sights of Copenhagen like the magnificent Gefion Fountain, Amalienborg Palace - winter residence of the Royal Family and the famous square Kongens Nytorv, where we can see the (Old) Royal Theatre. Then, you’ll head over to the Old Fish Market where you’ll cruise through the bustling harbor of Copenhagen. From your boat, enjoy the many wonderful towers and waterfront activities of the city. One of the great highlights is the Little Mermaid, a tribute to Hans Christian Andersen. Continue through the picturesque canals of Christianshavn and Frederiksholm, where historical buildings are to be enjoyed side by side with more modern architecture. Note: This tour is only available for guests with flights after 3:00 pm. Guests are responsible for ensuring their debarkation tours are compatible with their flight departure times. This afternoon you’ll be transferred from your ship to the boat pier in the center of the city. St. Petersburg was founded on the banks of the Neva River, the main waterway of St. Petersburg. The embankments of the Neva were constructed in the middle of the 18th century. Developing the best traditions of Russian architecture and town planning, the architects of St. Petersburg made expert use of the natural conditions and created splendid architectural ensembles on the Neva which are interlined by the community of their artistic design.
On this cruise you’ll have a unique opportunity to view St. Petersburg from a totally different perspective. Enjoy this leisurely ride uninterrupted by traffic jams while sipping on your champagne and enjoying emotional performances by a colorful Gypsy group.

During dinner you’ll have the opportunity to see belly dancers, folk dance groups from different regions of Turkey and a finale performance by an international singer. The Shetlands are a mosaic of over a hundred islands where land and water blend. The most northerly part of the British Isles, it is inhabited by approximately 22,000 people and an abundance of wildlife. It is a land shaped by the sea from dramatic sculptured cliffs to tranquil sandy bays. The delightful and inquisitive Shetland pony will come looking for food as your tour bus stops wherever possible for photos. The shaggy coats and flowing manes of the ponies equip them to withstand severe weather conditions; they have been in the Shetlands since at least Viking times. Then, travel south to visit Jarlshof. A violent storm in 1905 uncovered this remarkable archaeological site, revealing remains from the Stone Age and settlements from the Bronze and Iron Ages. The name Jarlshof, or "Laird's House", refers to the community of the Norse Jarls that resided here in the 7th century. You’ll be able to independently explore the remains of these village settlements, sprawled over a low green promontory by the sea. Your tour continues the short distance to the small historic village of Hoswick and a visit to the Hoswick Visitor Center. Here, you can have an understanding of the history and culture of the Shetlands from the interpretive displays and by watching the traditional knitting skills of the islanders. There is also the opportunity to purchase an original Shetland garment from the wide variety of cashmere or lamb wool items on sale in the knitwear shop. You’ll also see the small agricultural areas where sheep farming is important. Furthermore, see the distinctive black and brown Shetland sheep grazing in pastures enclosed by neat dry-stone walls, and small communities where peat is still used to heat homes. Your return to Lerwick will be across moorland. less

Travel along the Campanian coastal route to Sorrento. As you make your way towards the Sorrentine Peninsula, enjoy the panoramic scenery of the Bay of Naples. Once in Sorrento, you’ll have approximately 1 1/2 hours on your own to explore, shop and eat in Sorrento's charming flowered-filled streets that offer a wide array of boutiques, souvenir shops, and outdoor cafes. (Please note that lunch is not included in this tour.) You’ll then take a local shuttle bus and drive to a local beach. Your escort will designate a meeting time and place and then you’ll be on your own for approximately 3 hours at the beach. You can use the changing rooms and will have the opportunity to relax on the beach, taste the cuisine of the local restaurant or have a cappuccino on the panoramic terrace. A complimentary sun-bed and beach umbrella will be provided for you. After a relaxing summer day on the Italian coastline, you’ll re-board the coach for the return drive to your ship in Naples. Note: The amount of walking is at guests' discretion. This tour does not include lunch or entrance fees. An escort will be on the coach to/from Naples to answer questions. Items such as hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, swimwear, proper foot protection and a towel should be brought with you from your ship. If guests should miss the return bus, transportation back to the vessel is your own responsibility and expense. Time in Sorrento and at the beach may be altered due to traffic. The transfer from Sorrento Town to the beach takes approximately 6-7 minutes each way and is operated by local shuttles buses so many guests will be standing. This is the only transportation authorized through the short, narrow street that connects the town and the beach. For this reason, depending on crowds and traffic involved, some waiting at the shuttle bus pick-up points may be expected. This tour is only available from mid-June to mid-September except for Norwegian Spirit August 3rd and August 15th 2013 sailings, and Norwegian Epic August 11th 2013 sailing. less

Dance is a huge part of the Russian’s nature. Dancing comes as natural to Russians, as singing comes natural to Italians. St. Petersburg has long been regarded as one of the world’s most famous ballet centers. For two centuries Russia has maintained its superiority in ballet, an art that was brought from Europe at the beginning of the 18th century. There was a period of adapting to this strange manner of dancing, which was initially shared with only a small segment of the population. After a long time of creating Russian ballet schools and theaters, with the help of Italian and French choreographers, coaches, artists, composers, dancers and ballerinas, the triumph of the Russian ballet was born at the beginning of the 20th century. Travel through the city districts of Sodermalm, Gamla Stan, Norrmalm, Ostermalm, and Djurgarden. Pass the Royal Palace, which overlooks Stockholm’s inner harbor. Fjallgatan with its magnificent view of the city is a must as well as the enchanting medieval Old Town, and 'Gamla Stan'. From the historic island of Riddarholmen, adjacent to the Old Town, you have a stunning view over the lake Malaren and the City Hall. Proceed past the Royal Dramatic Theater along Strandvagen to the island of Djurgarden. This is full of Stockholm’s amusement and recreation centers, as well as great parklands, beautiful gardens, cafes and restaurants. Here, you’ll also find the Grona Lund Tivoli, the Skansen Open-Air Museum and the well-known Vasa Museum, housing the 17th century warship Vasa. Continue through the Diplomat quarters and through Ostermalm, a fashionable neighborhood of stately apartment buildings. On the island of Kungsholmen, you’ll pass the impressive City Hall, renowned for its architecture, and site of the annual Nobel Prize. Proceed south via the Western Bridge to Sodermalm before returning to your ship. Note: There will be no inside visits conducted on this tour; there will be photo stops only.
