Enjoy the main sights of Helsinki, also referred to as the 'Daughter of the Baltic' or the 'White City of the North' from the comfort of your motorcoach. Your tour begins with a drive along a picturesque road on your way to see the great variety of Helsinki’s architecture. In Senate Square, you’ll see several buildings attributed to the Neo-Classic architect Carl Ludwig Engel. Enjoy a photo stop at the famous Lutheran Cathedral and continue on to Mannerheim Street, Helsinki’s main thoroughfare. You’ll see the Parliament House, the National Museum, and also Finlandia Hall, designed by the famous architect Alvar Aalto. Pass the new Opera House on your way to the Olympic Stadium where the 1952 Olympic Games were held. Then it’s on to Sibelius Park, where you can photograph a monument completed of 527 steel pipes honoring the great Finnish composer Jean Sibelius. Enjoy a view of Embassy Park and the colorful open-air market on your drive back to the pier. Note: Order of sights might vary. Although some photo stops are included, no sites will be visited on this tour. Only collapsible/foldable wheelchairs are allowed as they can be stored in the luggage compartment of the bus. Your tour begins with a scenic drive through the cultural heart of Tallinn. View the Tall Herman Tower, one of the three remaining towers of the Knights of the Sword Castle. From the base of the nearby Cannon Tower, enjoy a wonderful view of the churches and towers of Tallinn's Upper Town. You’ll then continue through Kadriorg Park, a true highlight with its charming Baroque ensemble that was designed as a summer residence for Peter the Great. You’ll also see the beautiful Swan Pond where a photo stop will be made. You’ll visit the Song Festival Ground, a natural amphitheater that hosts Estonia's national song festivals. You’ll pass by the Forest Cemetery where distinguished Estonians are buried amongst the pine trees, before continuing on to Pirita, the beachside location of the yachting complex built for the 1980 Olympic Games. From this vantage point, the 16th century ruins of St. Bridget's Convent can be seen. As you return to the harbor, you'll drive past the summer residence of Count Orlov and the delightful statue of Russalka, Estonia's mermaid, on the sea coast. A drive from the harbor takes you through the city center and along the main street passing Estonia’s modern and elegant 19th century buildings. As you approach the Old Town, you’ll get fascinating views of the medieval city wall with its fairy-tale turrets. The walking portion of your tour begins at Nun’s Street in the Lower Town. Strolling through the old streets, you’ll see the beautiful medieval guild houses, the Gothic Town Hall and the charming 15th century apothecary. Continue to the beautiful Kadriorg Park, founded according to the order of Peter the Great and named after Peter`s wife, Catherine. Admire the architecture of the Baroque palace and enjoy the lovely restored gardens, a small replica of Versailles. The tour continues to the Song Festival Ground where national song festivals are held and up to 30,000 singers participate. Following a brief visit to the interesting ruins of the 15th century St. Brigit’s Convent, you’ll drive back to the city, past the famous Estonian Russalka monument and the summer residence of Count Orlov. Drive through the heart of Oslo and see its highlights such as the Akershus Fortress, new Opera House, Parliament Building, Royal Palace, and the Nobel Institute. Pass through Vigeland Sculpture Park and continue through beautiful residential areas past the Holmenkollen Ski Jump and stop for a fantastic view of the city and the fjord. Travel through the city districts of Sodermalm, Gamla Stan, Norrmalm, Ostermalm, and Djurgarden. Pass the Royal Palace, which overlooks Stockholm’s inner harbor. Fjallgatan with its magnificent view of the city is a must as well as the enchanting medieval Old Town, and 'Gamla Stan'. From the historic island of Riddarholmen, adjacent to the Old Town, you have a stunning view over the lake Malaren and the City Hall. Proceed past the Royal Dramatic Theater along Strandvagen to the island of Djurgarden. This is full of Stockholm’s amusement and recreation centers, as well as great parklands, beautiful gardens, cafes and restaurants. Here, you’ll also find the Grona Lund Tivoli, the Skansen Open-Air Museum and the well-known Vasa Museum, housing the 17th century warship Vasa. Continue through the Diplomat quarters and through Ostermalm, a fashionable neighborhood of stately apartment buildings. On the island of Kungsholmen, you’ll pass the impressive City Hall, renowned for its architecture, and site of the annual Nobel Prize. Proceed south via the Western Bridge to Sodermalm before returning to your ship. Note: There will be no inside visits conducted on this tour; there will be photo stops only. Discover the main sites of interest in Helsinki, also known as the 'White City of the North.' Along the way you’ll pass Embassy Park and the Uspenski Orthodox Cathedral with its brilliant gold onion domes. Continue on to Senate Square and see important buildings attributed to the Neo-Classic architect Carl Ludwig Engel, including the famous Lutheran Cathedral. You’ll pass the open-air market on your way to the Olympic Stadium where the 1952 Olympic Games were held. Then it’s on to Sibelius Park where you can photograph a monument honoring the great Finnish composer Jean Sibelius. Pass by the Opera House and then stop to see the Temppeliaukio Rock Church, a unique house of worship blasted into solid rock and topped by a copper dome. Finally it’s on to Mannerheim Street, Helsinki’s main thoroughfare, and other important landmarks. At the end of the tour, you can get off in the downtown area to explore the city on your own or return by your bus to the cruise pier. Should you decide to remain in the city, you’ll be responsible for your own return to the cruise pier. This option is only available for morning departures. Note: Order of sights might vary. Guides are not allowed to escort large groups through churches while a service is in progress. In this instance the guide will describe the church from the outside. We cannot guarantee entry if services are being held. Due to new traffic restrictions, buses will no longer be allowed to drive nearby the rock church; therefore, there will be a 20 minute walk to and from the church (approximately 1,600 feet). less

Discover the Mexican countryside on horseback. Arrive at Hacienda Dona Engracia where your guide will conduct a short orientation, then match each rider with a horse that suits his or her ability. Riding along the Mascota River, you’ll pass through quaint little villages, viewing local scenery and vegetation. Wear a swimsuit under your riding clothes because if conditions permit, you may enjoy a swim on horseback or relax at the hot springs. Then you’ll head back to the hacienda to explore before you rejoin the transportation back to your ship Note: Participants must be at least 12 years of age, weigh no more than 220 lbs. and in good physical condition. Wear long pants and sturdy, closed-toe shoes. During certain times of the year, the river rises and forces the tour to follow the mountain trail, cancelling the swim. The Shetlands are a mosaic of over a hundred islands where land and water blend. The most northerly part of the British Isles, it is inhabited by approximately 22,000 people and an abundance of wildlife. It is a land shaped by the sea from dramatic sculptured cliffs to tranquil sandy bays. The delightful and inquisitive Shetland pony will come looking for food as your tour bus stops wherever possible for photos. The shaggy coats and flowing manes of the ponies equip them to withstand severe weather conditions; they have been in the Shetlands since at least Viking times. Then, travel south to visit Jarlshof. A violent storm in 1905 uncovered this remarkable archaeological site, revealing remains from the Stone Age and settlements from the Bronze and Iron Ages. The name Jarlshof, or "Laird's House", refers to the community of the Norse Jarls that resided here in the 7th century. You’ll be able to independently explore the remains of these village settlements, sprawled over a low green promontory by the sea. Your tour continues the short distance to the small historic village of Hoswick and a visit to the Hoswick Visitor Center. Here, you can have an understanding of the history and culture of the Shetlands from the interpretive displays and by watching the traditional knitting skills of the islanders. There is also the opportunity to purchase an original Shetland garment from the wide variety of cashmere or lamb wool items on sale in the knitwear shop. You’ll also see the small agricultural areas where sheep farming is important. Furthermore, see the distinctive black and brown Shetland sheep grazing in pastures enclosed by neat dry-stone walls, and small communities where peat is still used to heat homes. Your return to Lerwick will be across moorland. less

For those looking for a water adventure on a hot summer day, there’s no better choice than Solaris Aqua Park, a great attraction offering something for everyone. Enjoy a scenic drive from Split to the town of Sibenik and onto Solaris Beach Resort. This is the first water park in the heart of Dalmatia with a family beach, perfect for families with children and for anyone with an adventurous spirit. It offers a wide variety of activities and games that will appeal to the kid in all of us.
Numerous slides, jets and waterfalls with water effects are just a part of the adventure that will you and your family will enjoy. Take a short break in comfortable tubes flowing down the 'lazy river'. If the aqua park wasn’t enough, your tour also includes activities at the Solaris Beach Resort including tennis courts, golf courts, Pirate mini golf, a Dalmatian village lunch area, lounge pool bars, and a pine forest perfect for an afternoon stroll.
NOTE: Children under the age of 6 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times. We recommend that you wear appropriate sun protection, a swimsuit, sun glasses, bring a change of clothing and a towel from the ship. Meet your guide and begin with a short drive up to Fjallgatan for a panoramic overview of the city. Continue to Gamla Stan, the enchanting, medieval Old Town. You’ll pass the Royal Palace and the dramatic royal theater as you drive to the island of Djurgarden, a favorite getaway spot for Stockholm residents and home of the Vasa Museum. In the Vasa Museum, you’ll see the Swedish warship ‘Vasa’, once considered the pride of Sweden’s navy. The present museum is built around the restored 17th century warship, which sank in Stockholm’s inner harbor on her maiden voyage in 1628. It was salvaged in 1961 with more than 12,000 objects on board and is one of the most important events in marine archaeology. Continue on your tour to Ostermalm, a fashionable neighborhood of stately apartment buildings, then on to Sergel’s Torg, a square that is the focal point of modern Stockholm. Explore and enjoy the underwater world of the Sea of Cortez without getting wet! Travel through the sea inside a semi-submersible - a unique 60-foot long, 33 passenger watercraft featuring seats that sit below the water level with glass panels for viewing the rich marine life of Cabo San Lucas. Loaded with great photo opportunities, this is a great family oriented tour. You’ll start with your guide giving you a historic and informational briefing about Baja and your tour. Just minutes after departure from the pier, step down into the semi-sub and encounter the underwater wonders said to be part of one of the most fertile bodies of water in the world which host over 800 species of fish from small tropicals to whale sharks. This air-conditioned vessel is built according to U.S. Coast Guard’s requirements and regulations to ensure passenger safety, comfort and security. Totally surrounded by glass paneled windows, each seat has a fabulous view and comes equipped with a fish identification card to help you identify all the unknown creatures awaiting you. Your guide will provide you an educational as well as entertaining trip into a world normally seen through the eyes of fish. The vessel never leaves the surface as you motor along sitting safe and sound eight feet below. Just on the other side of your glass window you’ll come face to face with the underwater creatures around Pelican Rock - the #1 dive spot in Cabo. Your turnaround point is Land’s End, the last tip of rock, the last bit of land in Baja California. This is where the waters of the Sea of Cortez meet those of the Pacific Ocean. Go up to the surface for great photos of the arch and the sea lion colony. The sub will take you back to the pier with your memories and camera filled with the underwater wonders of Cabo! Note: Children under the age of 4 are free of charge but must remain seated on parents lap. This tour is not recommended for those passengers with claustrophobia or those prone to seasickness.
