Cabo Dolphins encounter program allows you to delve into the world of the bottle-nosed dolphin without entering deep water. The specially designed shallow platform allows you to get 'up close' to a dolphin during this 20-minute program. Meet your highly experienced trainer who will educate you about the dolphin’s anatomy and physiology. Dolphins will slide gracefully onto the platform and allow you to hug, pet and play with them while exploring their beautiful sleek bodies. Enjoy feeding and dancing with your dolphin and receive a big fishy kiss! This dolphin encounter program is perfect for all ages or non-swimmers. Note: Participants must be at least 3 years of age. Children 3-7 years of age must be accompanied by a participating adult. No infants allowed. Please inform the Shore Excursion staff if you have any infants taking the tour as they will need a ticket to check in at the facility. Guests are not allowed to bring their cameras; there will be professional photographs taken onboard. Guests with disabilities must visit the Shore Excursion Desk for more information. Women who are between 3-7 months pregnant will be able to participate on the tour. less

Explore and enjoy the underwater world of the Sea of Cortez without getting wet! Travel through the sea inside a semi-submersible - a unique 60-foot long, 33 passenger watercraft featuring seats that sit below the water level with glass panels for viewing the rich marine life of Cabo San Lucas. Loaded with great photo opportunities, this is a great family oriented tour. You’ll start with your guide giving you a historic and informational briefing about Baja and your tour. Just minutes after departure from the pier, step down into the semi-sub and encounter the underwater wonders said to be part of one of the most fertile bodies of water in the world which host over 800 species of fish from small tropicals to whale sharks. This air-conditioned vessel is built according to U.S. Coast Guard’s requirements and regulations to ensure passenger safety, comfort and security. Totally surrounded by glass paneled windows, each seat has a fabulous view and comes equipped with a fish identification card to help you identify all the unknown creatures awaiting you. Your guide will provide you an educational as well as entertaining trip into a world normally seen through the eyes of fish. The vessel never leaves the surface as you motor along sitting safe and sound eight feet below. Just on the other side of your glass window you’ll come face to face with the underwater creatures around Pelican Rock - the #1 dive spot in Cabo. Your turnaround point is Land’s End, the last tip of rock, the last bit of land in Baja California. This is where the waters of the Sea of Cortez meet those of the Pacific Ocean. Go up to the surface for great photos of the arch and the sea lion colony. The sub will take you back to the pier with your memories and camera filled with the underwater wonders of Cabo! Note: Children under the age of 4 are free of charge but must remain seated on parents lap. This tour is not recommended for those passengers with claustrophobia or those prone to seasickness. The semi-sub is equipped with a restroom as well as outdoor seating for those needing fresh air en route. Guests must be able to negotiate several steps down into the vessel. less

Board a 24-foot Zodiac boat powered by twin 115HP engines with a maximum capacity of 15 passengers. This vessel is zippy and maneuverable but at the same time very safe and seaworthy. Your experienced Captain also serves as your tour guide. Head out in search of the migrating whales visiting the waters off Cabo. The Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean host numerous whale species each season including humpbacks, grays, as well as the more elusive blues whales and occasional pods of dolphin and orcas. Once a whale is spotted, your boat will get you there quickly and quietly without disturbing the whales. Keep those cameras handy, you’ll want to record your experience of a lifetime before you head back to the pier. There will be time for you to do some sightseeing as your boat cruises by Land’s End for a good view of the Arch, the sea lion colony and Lover’s Beach. Note: Participants must be at least 7 years of age and weigh no more than 250 lbs. You must wear your life jacket at all times. Pregnant women and guests with back/neck injuries are not permitted on this tour. Bottled water and soft drinks are provided. Comfortable clothing and sun protection is suggested. A light jacket is recommended, there are no restrooms onboard. Shoes must be removed and stored in a storage locker on board your boat to keep your gear out of the way. Sightings are frequent, but not guaranteed. Please note that ride can be bumpy. This tour is only available on Mexican Riviera cruises, N. Star. This is a seasonal tour running from December 15 through March 31. less

This afternoon you’ll be transferred from your ship to the boat pier in the center of the city. St. Petersburg was founded on the banks of the Neva River, the main waterway of St. Petersburg. The embankments of the Neva were constructed in the middle of the 18th century. Developing the best traditions of Russian architecture and town planning, the architects of St. Petersburg made expert use of the natural conditions and created splendid architectural ensembles on the Neva which are interlined by the community of their artistic design.
On this cruise you’ll have a unique opportunity to view St. Petersburg from a totally different perspective. Enjoy this leisurely ride uninterrupted by traffic jams while sipping on your champagne and enjoying emotional performances by a colorful Gypsy group.

Only a short five-minute walk from the pier, the especially designed platforms at Cabo Dolphins allow small children the opportunity to enjoy a close-up, interactive experience with a bottle-nosed dolphin. After meeting with their experienced dolphin trainer, kids will get to know their dolphin through petting, hugging and receiving a big fishy kiss. Time on the shallow platform allows children the opportunity to learn about the anatomy of a dolphin and to experience how gentle, loving and caring these creatures are. Feeding time and singing along with the dolphin are part of the excitement and this 20-minute program is topped-off with a ride around the pools on an inflatable toy or with a fun belly ride. Parents may enjoy their children's unforgettable expressions from our observation deck close by. Treat your child to this once in a lifetime experience. Travel through the city districts of Sodermalm, Gamla Stan, Norrmalm, Ostermalm, and Djurgarden. Pass the Royal Palace, which overlooks Stockholm’s inner harbor. Fjallgatan with its magnificent view of the city is a must as well as the enchanting medieval Old Town, and 'Gamla Stan'. From the historic island of Riddarholmen, adjacent to the Old Town, you have a stunning view over the lake Malaren and the City Hall. Proceed past the Royal Dramatic Theater along Strandvagen to the island of Djurgarden. This is full of Stockholm’s amusement and recreation centers, as well as great parklands, beautiful gardens, cafes and restaurants. Here, you’ll also find the Grona Lund Tivoli, the Skansen Open-Air Museum and the well-known Vasa Museum, housing the 17th century warship Vasa. Continue through the Diplomat quarters and through Ostermalm, a fashionable neighborhood of stately apartment buildings. On the island of Kungsholmen, you’ll pass the impressive City Hall, renowned for its architecture, and site of the annual Nobel Prize. Proceed south via the Western Bridge to Sodermalm before returning to your ship. Note: There will be no inside visits conducted on this tour; there will be photo stops only.
