Cruise by Cabo’s famed Lovers Beach, past the sea lion colony and the towering rock formations of Land’s End, then set sail for Chileno Bay, cruising along Cabo’s Gold Coast. The bay features a large reef, which is home to many species of fish. Snorkel among the tropical fish in the blue waters of the Sea of Cortez. The adventurous can swim from the boat to the beach in search of treasures buried in the sand. On the return voyage, an assortment of finger foods and drinks will be served. Relax as the sails are hoisted and enjoy the beauty of Los Cabos. Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age and weigh no more than 240 lbs. Not for guests with heart conditions, respiratory problems or pregnant women. Instructions are available upon request and equipment is provided. A signed waiver is required. less

From the pier your tour guide will lead you to nearby Ploce Gate where you’ll board your bus. Then drive along a panoramic road to a viewpoint from where you can enjoy the magnificent view over Dubrovnik and its Riviera. Continue by motorcoach down to Pile Gate and you’ll find yourselves at the beginning of the famous main street - the Stradun. Along the way you’ll stop to visit the Dominican Monastery with the finest collection of Renaissance paintings in Dubrovnik. The cathedral is built over the remains once built in the 12th century, and destroyed in 1667 by a disastrous earthquake. Today its treasure contains one of the finest collections of gold and silver in Europe. Other fine buildings that you’ll see from the outside include the Sponza Palace, notable for its columns courtyard with elaborate stone carvings, the Church of Saint Blaise and Onofriou’s Fountain. Note: This tour is not suitable for passengers who have difficulties walking due to the uneven cobblestone streets. There is approximately 1 1/2 miles of walking. Tour may be operated in reverse order. When tendering into Dubrovnik Old Town tour duration will be shorter. less

Touring Monaco and Monte Carlo can involve a considerable amount of walking but you’ll drive directly up to the district of Monte Carlo, where you’ll find the Place du Casino, the Hotel de Paris, Cafe de Paris and the legendary Monte Carlo Casino. View the exterior of the magnificent casino and take some time to stroll along the luxury boutiques and cafes. Head up to Monaco Rock, where you’ll walk the narrow streets of Old Monaco. Here you’ll see the cathedral where Prince Rainier married Grace Kelly and where they are both now laid to rest. Your walking tour will bring you further to the Prince’s Palace Square where you’ll have free time to admire the exterior of the Grimaldi Palace and do some shopping. Note: During summer months expect extreme heat, crowded venues and long lines. We recommend that you dress in layers, wear comfortable shoes, a hat, sunglasses and bring bottled water. Guests must be able to walk approximately 1 1/2 miles over various surfaces. Tour order may vary. The Monaco city buses used are exclusively reserved for Norwegian Cruise Line guests. These local buses are designed for standing and seated occupancy, so some guests will stand during the short transfers. Casino de Monte Carlo opens its Salles Americaines (free admission) at 2:00pm, with slot machines only. Salles Publiques (entrance fee of 10 Euros in cash) is open at 2:00pm for Roulette and slot machines. Visitors must be at least 18 years of age and show passport or ID Card. Morning tours to Monte Carlo will not be able to enter the Grand Casino. There is a free-admission, American-style casino at the Cafe de Paris, which opens at 10:00 am. less

Driving from the port to the center of the island, arrive to Monumento al Campesino; situated one next to the other, the house museum and peasant monument were built to immortalize the hard work of Lanzarote’s peasant community whose efforts materialized in La Geria, a unique production of agricultural goods from a dry and arid land. The peasant monument known as the Monument to Fertility was designed by Cesar Manrique with water tanks from old fishing boats elevated onto a rock platform. The strength of this work is found in the mixing of local and traditional architectural elements such as bright white color and round lines with the modern use of recycled materials assembled as a “meccano”. The sculpture placed in the geographic center of Lanzarote has the effect of a lookout and, from its approximately 50 feet (15 meters) of height of superposed boat tankers, becomes a water metaphor; the water element has become a symbol of the peasant’s hard life. The house museum contains an extraordinary collection of utensils and instruments used by the peasant community throughout history to work, transport and store products, or simply to live. After a short drive through the dramatic wine landscape of La Geria, you’ll arrive at Bodegas La Geria for a tour of the wine cellar and a taste of the local wine. La Geria wine cellar is one of the most important in Lanzarote and the Canary Islands. It is located in the heart of Lanzarote’s main wine producing area. Built at the end of the 19th century by the Rijo family, it experienced crucial technological improvements after the takeover in 1993 by its current owners, allowing the production of high quality wines. Next, you’ll visit El Grifo Wine Museum, housed in ancient bodegas dating back to 1775 and built on top of the solidified lava from a volcanic eruption. A true example of local architecture, the cellar is marked by the simplicity of its construction materials: extraordinary thick walls made of volcanic stones and plaster combined with ceilings supported by long wooden beams, mainly coming from derelict ships. The exemplary ethnographic collection dating from the late 19th and early 20th centuries gives the visitor an opportunity to observe the evolution of wine making equipment. Cesar Manrique´s monument to the mythological griffin placed on the road indicates access to the museum. During the visit at El Grifo, you’ll taste three different local wines with the assistance of a professional sommelier. Note: You must be at least 18 years of age in order to participate in the wine tasting. less

Driving along the beautiful seaside promenade, you’ll enjoy the views of the marina filled with luxurious yachts on one side and hotels on the other. You’ll then pass the magnificent cathedral and the Almudaina Palace going to the center of Palma through streets filled with luxurious shops, and Via Roma where the flower market is held under the shade of the plane trees. Continue on towards Santa Maria, admiring the views of the most agricultural part of the island. Your final destination is the well-known cellars of Macia Batle in the village of Santa Maria. Its 250 acres of vineyards are distributed in the denominations of the region with special emphasis on the rare autochthon Majorcan grapes, not leaving out other traditional varieties. By combining these grapes, the results are beautifully composed wines with unforgettable character. The agreeable sun and microclimate of Majorca join with the soft winds of the Mediterranean to guarantee a top quality wine, something that the Romans, keen wine makers, already knew. Today, the Palma Aquarium provides a fun and exciting journey of discovery down the ages. Your tour drives past the Paseo Maritimo with numerous hotels on one side and luxury yachts on the other. Your guide will point out the many highlights of this beautiful city. Palma Aquarium is a spectacular marine park that faithfully recreates sea and oceanic habitats and ecosystems. The park provides visitors with a unique and unforgettable experience: interaction, surprises and endless educational elements. The 55 aquariums contain an exceptional range of flora and fauna from the Mediterranean Sea and the Indian, Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Here you’ll find 8,000 specimens from 700 different species in approximately 1.32 million gallons (5 million liters) of seawater. Your guide will take you through some of the areas, and allow you free time to wander on your own (your guide will wait in a common area until departure time). If you want to spend some time at the beach, you’ll find one approximately 985 feet (300 meters) in front of the Palma Aquarium.
