Mykonos is world famous for its beautiful golden sandy beaches and transparent waters. Along the south coastline of Mykonos lie some of the island’s most beautiful beaches. Kalafatis beach is a short drive from your ship. Here you can enjoy the clear waters of the Aegean Sea along with a sandy beach and the sun. You’ll find everything you need for a relaxing or an exciting time on the beach. Sun beds and umbrellas are available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis.

Note: Please remember to wear your swimsuit and take a towel and sunscreen. There is a beach taverna nearby for refreshments or a light snack at your own expense. Swimming is at the guest's own risk as there is no life guard on duty. Please note that this is not a shuttle service. If you should miss the scheduled departure from the beach, it will be your responsibility at your own expense to return to your ship. Additional activities are available at the beach for an extra cost paid directly to local concessionaires and are not part of the tour package. The drive to/from the pier is approximately 15 minutes each way, dependent upon traffic conditions. This tour will only operate from June through August. less

Start your adventure from Cannes with a scenic drive as you head to Nice. Enter the city driving along the Promenade des Anglais, a splendid palm-lined boulevard stretching three miles along the Baie des Anges. You’ll pass landmarks such as the legendary Negresco, an imposing hotel with a Rococo façade and, the Russian Orthodox Cathedral, built with pink bricks, light gray marble and vividly colored ceramics that gives an exotic touch to the Nice scene. Then arrive in Old Nice as you visit the old city where tall houses, bright with flowers or washing, exclude the glare of sun and keep the streets cool. Here you’ll enjoy your walk on Cours Saleya, the elegant promenade of Old Nice, lined with shops and restaurants and with the famous flower market, held here in picturesque quarters. Your drive continues passing Regina Hotel to Cimiez Hill, a sophisticated part of Nice with many large villas. Pass the Franciscan Monastery, gardens and Roman arenas, before joining the highway back to Cannes. Note: There is approximately 1 mile of walking on relatively flat terrain. less

Located on the west coast of Naples, you’ll find the still-active volcano, Mount Vesuvius. For the adventurous traveler, this is the ideal way to explore the volcano that destroyed the city of Pompeii. You’ll arrive at the base of the National Park of Vesuvius, from where you’ll board a special 4 x 4 coach. Ecologic and equipped with air-conditioning, it will take you to a height of about 3,000 feet. During the drive up the path in the National Park, you’ll relax looking at the Gulf of Naples. Once at 3,000 feet, you’ll proceed on foot for another 1,000 feet up on a narrow zigzagging path. Once on the rim of the crater walls, you’ll meet an official alpine guide and walk part of the way around the edge to enjoy this natural phenomenon and, of course, a panoramic view that includes Naples and the entire bay. After visiting the crater, you’ll walk back to the 4 x 4 coach, which will take you to the motorcoach parking for your return drive to Naples and your ship. Note: The tour will not operate for Norwegian Jade winter sailings from the end of November through mid-April. Participants must be able to walk approximately 1 1/2 miles on an incline. This tour is not recommended for guests with a history of heart disease or high blood pressure and does not include lunch. During summer months expect extreme heat; we recommend that you dress in layers, wear a hat and bring bottled water. In the event of bad weather and the closure of Mt. Vesuvius crater, this tour will not operate. less

One of the famous sea explorers, Jacques Costeau, has voted the Dubrovnik Riviera as one of the cleanest and best preserved waters in the world today. After sailing from the port, cruise along the picturesque Lokrum Island and Ploce, an area known for its luxury hotels. Further along, you’ll pass the magnificent, impressive site of the City Ramparts. After approximately 60 minutes of scenic cruising, reach the Old Town Port of Dubrovnik where you’ll find the famous main street – the Stradun. Your experienced guide will lead you through the charming streets, showing you the most interesting places in the Old Town. After the walking tour, you’ll have ample time to explore the Old Town of Dubrovnik on your own. Note: This tour is not suitable for passengers who have difficulties walking due to the boat ride, the inclines and cobblestone streets. Tour may be operated in reverse order. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by their parents. When tendering into Dubrovnik Old Town tour duration will be shorter. less
