Mykonos is world famous for its beautiful golden sandy beaches and transparent waters. Along the south coastline of Mykonos lie some of the island’s most beautiful beaches. Kalafatis beach is a short drive from your ship. Here you can enjoy the clear waters of the Aegean Sea along with a sandy beach and the sun. You’ll find everything you need for a relaxing or an exciting time on the beach. Sun beds and umbrellas are available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis.
Note: Please remember to wear your swimsuit and take a towel and sunscreen. There is a beach taverna nearby for refreshments or a light snack at your own expense. Swimming is at the guest's own risk as there is no life guard on duty. Please note that this is not a shuttle service. If you should miss the scheduled departure from the beach, it will be your responsibility at your own expense to return to your ship. Additional activities are available at the beach for an extra cost paid directly to local concessionaires and are not part of the tour package. The drive to/from the pier is approximately 15 minutes each way, dependent upon traffic conditions. This tour will only operate from June through August. less

Board your coach for an approximate 30 minute transfer to Kourouta Beach. This is a public beach area where you’ll have free time (approximately 3.5 hours) to relax under the sun and swim. Sun beds and umbrellas are available for rent at the beach on a first-come, first served-basis. There is a beach taverna nearby for refreshments or a light snack at your own expense. Credit cards and foreign currencies are not accepted. You’ll need Euros for purchases at the beach.

Enjoy two beautiful and colorful exponents of Tunisian art and architecture, the Medina, soul of Tunis and the charming white and blue seaside village of Sidi Bou Said. Your coach heads towards the famous Tunisian souks in the Medina. Savor the sounds, sights and the aromas in the heart of this ancient city. Visit the picturesque village of Sidi Bou Said, a pretty little whitewashed village set high on a cliff above the Gulf of Tunis. This is a delightful place for a stroll along the charming, narrow cobblestoned streets. You’ll have free time here to admire the architecture, local handicrafts, or to relax in one of the tea houses with a refreshing mint tea.
Note: There is moderate amount of walking, including crowded narrow streets in Medina and Sidi Bou Said with some inclines and a few steps. Amount of walking during free time is at guests’ discretion.

Barcelona's favorable location, in perfect harmony with its immediate surroundings, together with its ease of access and varied climate, make it a starting point for discovering new landscapes and enjoying contact with nature. Not only is Montserrat Monastery of significant religious importance but the natural beauty surrounding the monastery is simply breathtaking. Head to Montserrat through the main streets of Barcelona, driving by Catalunya Square, considered the heart of the city. On Passeig de Gracia, the best-known boulevard in town, your guide will point out of the masterpieces of Gaudi's architecture: the Casa Mila and Casa Batlló, two of the best-known landmarks of the city. Diagonal Avenue leads the way to Montserrat.
This peculiar rocky mountain range is the site of the monastery where people come to worship ‘La Moreneta,' the black Madonna, patron of Catalunya. The Benedictine community, now numbering some 80 monks, has served the shrine for almost a thousand years. They are dedicated to a life of prayer, work, and to welcoming pilgrims, making the site a place for dialogue, prayer and culture. Besides the monks, the Escolans also live in Montserrat, forming the oldest boys’ choir in Europe. During your stay and visit to Montserrat, you'll visit the sanctuary and have free time to take in the activity of your choice. Spend extra time at the sanctuary, explore some more, take pictures, shop for that last-minute souvenir, have lunch or grab a coffee at one of the restaurants or cafeterias there. Once you finish the visit you'll be driven back to your ship.
Note: There is substantial amount of walking on this tour, approximately 1 ½ hrs, and sloped terrain. less

Learn about the city that once was one of the most important trade centers of the Mediterranean and stroll the colorful city streets of the Medina. The Old City dates back to the end of the 7th century AD and was the focal point of the city for more than a thousand years until the arrival of the French in 1881. Take a short guided walking tour, followed by some free time for you to explore the labyrinth of alleys and narrow streets packed with a variety of shops selling carpets, perfume, spices, brass, copperware, leather goods and other handicrafts.
This is the ideal place to try your bargaining skills while savoring the sounds, sights and smells of the souks. Drive to Byrsa Hill for a great panoramic view of Tunis. Visit the Carthage Museum and enjoy the La Malga Cisterns which were fed by an aqueduct that carried mountain spring water from Zaghouan. You’ll also visit the Antoinine Baths, built in the 2nd century and the 3rd largest in the Roman Empire. Drive by the Punic Ports and by the Trophet, a cemetery for small children who were sacrificed to the deities Baal Hammon and Tanit.
Note: This tour is not suitable for guests on wheel chairs or with walking difficulties. There is moderate amount of walking, including a few steps, uneven ground and Roman roads in Carthage and crowded narrow streets in Medina.

Enjoy Valencia the easy way and discover what this fascinating city offers! It’s the perfect way to see the city for those who cannot walk or stand for long periods of time. Details are given along the way by your guide and there are opportunities to take pictures. The architecture of this beautiful city ranges from ancient Roman works to Santiago Calatrava's cutting-edge City of Arts and Sciences. Take a panoramic drive around the city, making a photo stop at the impressive City of Arts and Sciences located in the old river bed and built as a large scale urban recreation center for culture and science.
It showcases some of the most futuristic and beautiful architecture in the world. See the heart of the city as you pass Plaza de la Reina, the historical center. Here you’ll find the more significant monuments and buildings; an important collection of the city’s rich heritage. You’ll have some free time in the city center to explore further, shop or taste some of the local specialties. A drive along the sea front promenade offers views of the America’s Cup marina.

A little bit of history, a little bit of art and a little bit of the city are waiting for you. Take a pleasant drive to Le Bardo where you’ll visit the famous national museum. The Bardo is one of the most important museums in North Africa. It offers a wealth of artifacts and mosaics, which take you through the centuries of Phoenician, Roman and Arab history. Its collection of Roman mosaics is considered one of the largest in the world. A short drive to Medina, gives you the opportunity to do some shopping or just enjoy a stroll through the picturesque meandering streets.
Note: This tour is not suitable for guests using wheelchairs or with walking difficulties. There is a moderate amount of walking, including 2 flights of stairs at the Bardo Museum and navigating crowded, narrow streets in Medina.

Take a stroll through Cannes on this walking tour as you learn about its history. Accompanied by your guide, admire the old town of La Sequet and the famous Boulevard of La Croisette. You’ll begin with a walk to the old part of the city built on the site of the former Canois Castrum, a Roman town dominated by a castle, on the slopes of Mont Chevalier. As you take Rue Perissol, the road ascends to Place de La Castre, surrounded by a defensive wall and dominated by the 16th-17th century Provencal Gothic style church, Notre Dame de L’Experance. The old bell tower leads you to a long tree lined terrace, offering a fine view of the town, harbor and Ile Ste. Marguerite. Continue on Rue Meynardier, formerly the main street linking the new town with Le Suquet. It is lined with a variety of shops and some fine 18th century doorways. Pass by the old covered market on your way to the famous Rue d’Antibes, the main shopping street. As you return to the maritime terminal along the famous Boulevard de La Croisette, see where locals stroll in the winter, and how the elegant promenade is bordered by palm trees and gardens overlooking a fine sandy beach. Luxury hotels and elegant shops line the front and side streets along with galleries, antique shops, cinemas and night clubs. At the top end of La Croisette, east of the port, is the new Festival and Conference center; the last stop before heading back to your ship. Note: Tour participation is limited. This tour is not recommended for guests with walking difficulties. There are approximately 4 miles of walking over flat, uphill and cobblestoned terrain, with 25 steps to negotiate. less

A drive through Valencia’s highlights and a visit to the renowned Lladro Factory are a great way to see the city and learn about the delicate process of making these famous porcelain works of art. Enjoy a panoramic drive through the city. See the Quart & Serrano Towers as well as some of the historical center from the comfort of your coach. Visit the Lladro Factory and take an interesting and educational tour through the production chain. You’ll receive an overview of the porcelain’s history and family business, including a documentary on the start of the company and the founding brothers. After touring the factory, stop to view the large display in the exhibition room. You’ll also have some time to shop for your ideal Lladro figurine as a beautiful memory of your cruise and holiday.

This panoramic tour will take you to Cabo Girao, the highest sea cliff in Europe and the second highest in the world offering breathtaking views. Next you’ll visit Camara de Lobos, the traditional fishing village that inspired Sir Winston Churchill to paint its lovely surroundings. It was named by explorers Joao Goncalves Zarco and Tristao Vaz Teixeira because of the shape of its bay and the many sea lions (lobos de mar) that lived there at the time. Here you’ll have free time to explore this traditional, picturesque village. You’ll then be driven towards Funchal to sample the famous Madeira wine at the Madeira Wine Company.
Note: his tour involves walking on level ground with some steps in order to gain access to the edge of the cliff at Cabo Girao and at the Madeira Wine Lodge. A jacket is recommended as Madeira has a microclimate.

As Monaco is one of the smallest independent states of the world, the highlights of Old Town and Monte Carlo are very easy to explore on foot. Your guide will walk you up and show you the Old Town with it's narrow alleys, the cathedral where Prince Rainier and Grace Kelly got married and where they are both now buried and the exteriors of the Prince's Palace with the changing of the guards. Then your guide will take you walking along the famous port up to Monte Carlo (using elevators to go up). Arriving at the Casino Square, you’ll have some time to explore the exclusive boutiques and chic cafes before walking back to the pier with your guide (if you wish to spend more time in Monte Carlo, you can walk back to the pier on your own). Note: During summer months expect extreme heat, crowded venues and long lines. We recommend that you dress in layers, wear comfortable shoes, a hat, sunglasses and bring bottled water. Guests must be able to walk approximately 3 1/2 miles over various surfaces. Tour order may vary. Casino de Monte Carlo opens its Salles Americaines (free admission) at 2:00pm, with slot machines only. Salles Publiques (entrance fee of 10 Euros in cash) is open at 2:00pm for Roulette and slot machines. Visitors must be at least 18 years of age and show passport or ID Card. Morning tours to Monte Carlo will not be able to enter the Grand Casino. There is a free-admission, American-style casino at the Cafe de Paris, which opens at 10:00am. less
