You’ll be stunned by the breathtaking views and the stories that your guide will narrate. Continue with a walking tour to the Old Town of Gamla Stan, the oldest and coziest quarter of Stockholm. Witness the historic elegance of the exterior of the dominating Royal Palace combined with a stroll along the narrow streets, past a wide variety of shops and boutiques. After the tour, enjoy some free time on your own in Old Town. Rejoin your coach and enjoy panoramic sightseeing of Stockholm passing the Parliament Building, the Royal Opera, the city Center with Sergels Torg, the Concert Hall and much more. Start your walk in the city center. Visit several local culinary shops and restaurants for samples of pastry, locally produced coffee, chocolate and a taste of Scanian tapas - a tribute to our Swedish smorgasbord! You’ll have the opportunity to buy products in the shops visited. Between the visits, learn more about the history of this 900-year-old city. St. Mary's Church, Bruksgatan, small cozy streets, numerous boutiques and a myriad of restaurants are located in these old-town quarters. Next, walk by Sweden's first pedestrian street - Kullagatan, which celebrated 50 years in 2011. Here, you can also see the Concert Hall, City Theatre and the Dunkers Culture house. Helsingborg is situated right by the sea with a boardwalk and shopping within easy reach. Watching over Helsingborg is the 34 meter-high tower core, which is all that remains of the stately Helsingborg Castle. From the top there is a stunning view of the Sound and Denmark. On clear days one can see all the way to Copenhagen and the Oresund Bridge. Note: This is a walking tour. All food samples and drinks are included; additional purchases are optional. Different tasting stops will be made for samples of food, chocolate and coffee; please be aware that these will be samples only. Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make a connection with these truly remarkable creatures. You’ll have an opportunity to talk, touch, play and swim with gentle and exquisite bottlenose dolphins. Your swim experience begins with a brief presentation on dolphin characteristics, how to use hand signals and positive reinforcement to communicate with your dolphin and various safety guidelines. Next, your group of no more than eight participants will head to the Dolphin Lagoon where you’ll wade into the shallow, clear waters to begin your exclusive dolphin experience. You'll meet and play with a dolphin for 30 minutes, getting to know each other through hugs, kisses, rubdowns and ultimately, an exciting belly ride. The duration of the program is approximately 60 minutes, including orientation. After your dolphin swim, enjoy complimentary lunch at the dolphin marina and some free time to purchase memories of your experience with the dolphins. Note: Participants must be at least 5 years of age and no less than 4 feet, 5 inches tall. Do not wear jewelry or sunscreen lotion as it may be harmful to the animals. If there is one memory you’ll take home with you, it’s of drifting through Venice’s canals on a gondola as darkened waters lap your boat and music melts on the air. This delightful after-dinner excursion offers the chance to experience that quintessential canal ride while being serenaded by musicians in traditional fashion. O sole mio! From your ship, you’ll transfer by private motor launch to St. Mark’s Basin where your gondola awaits. After your ride, you can stretch the evening’s magic with a stroll around St. Mark’s Square. Perhaps stop for an espresso at one of the elegant cafes with their orchestras and chandeliers before catching the motor launch back to your ship. Note: This excursion is dependent on weather and tide conditions. It is not recommended for guests with physical disabilities. The gondola seats 4 passengers each and several gondolas share two serenaders. Drive through the lovely Tuscan countryside en route to the historic town of Pisa, located on the banks of the Arno River. Enjoy a short trolley ride that takes you directly to Miracle Square, next to the famous Leaning Tower. During World War II, much of Pisa was destroyed by German and Allied bombing, however the cathedral, baptistery and famous leaning tower escaped unharmed. Arriving at the Field of Miracles, you’ll join your guide for a climb up the 294 steps to discover the world-famous Leaning Tower. Built to display the wealth of Pisa, the bell tower began leaning during construction because of the foundation settling unevenly as builders reached the fourth story. The builders compensated for the angle but the tower continued its tilt. Today, the tower leans 14 degrees from perpendicular. Continue down to the open-air square for a brief explanation of the Cathedral and the Baptistery. You’ll have some free time to browse for souvenirs and gifts at the many stalls lining the walk to the Field of Miracles. Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age to climb the Tower. No bags are allowed for the Tower visit for security reasons. Even though the tower has reopened to the public, Italian authorities have strict limitations on the amount of persons allowed in per hour/day, and time limitations make it impossible to offer the visit to all the guests at the same time. The walking distance between the Field of Miracles in Pisa, and the bus parking area is approximately 15 minutes each way. Please note that on public holidays, most major stores will be closed; however, most leather and souvenir shops will be open. Since you’ll be visiting religious venues, please dress respectfully; no bare shoulders or shorts allowed. less

Today’s adventure will be one of a kind! You’ll board your sea kayaks and set out into the clear blue Adriatic Sea. Enjoy paddling along the magnificent Dubrovnik City Walls, and take a swim in one of the secluded caves and simply become one with nature. Note: Tour participation is limited, but is subject to a minimum number of participants to operate. The maximum weight for each passenger is 242 lbs (110 kg). Each guest will be given a paddle, life jacket, and a bottle of water. We recommend that you bring a towel, a swimsuit, sunglasses, sunscreen and a change of clothes. No photography allowed inside the basilica. Venice is a city built on and encompassed by water. Explore the beautiful and picturesque villages of Corfu by bike. Leave the port by coach to Dassia where you’ll select your bike and receive all necessary instructions. Accompanied by a local guide, your mountain bike expedition begins with a short and easy uphill climb to the village of Kato Korakiana. Once you reach the village, stop for a short rest at a traditional coffee shop before continuing on to another village. The foothills of Mount Pantokrator offer stunning views of the inner plains of the island, which are stretched below. Through a narrow paved alley, reach the picturesque village of Saint Marcos, an old Venetian settlement with carefully restored stone-built houses and a Byzantine chapel. At a local tavern in this village, enjoy a Greek snack before you take the road down the hill. Note: Tour involves approximately 12 1/2 miles (20 km) of riding on uneven terrain or asphalt road on a slight incline for a total of approximately two hours. Participants must be in good physical condition and must be at least 12 years of age, weigh no more than 220 lbs. and be a minimum height of five feet. Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are required. Mandatory helmets are provided, along with elbow, knee and wrist protection. Even though this tour has limited participation and is conducted in small groups, a minimum number of participants is required to operate. Start your tour with a short walk along the quayside to one of the beautiful, old wooden-restored vessels docked nearby. Board one of these vessels for your cruise on the Oslofjord. Your experienced guide will tell you about the many beautiful islands, among them Hovedoya with its ruins of a Monastery from 1147. Pass by Dyna Lighthouse and the many small islands with charming summer cottages. After your 1 1/2 hour cruise, you'll dock near the Fram Museum.
Walk to the museum to learn about Roald Amundsen and Fridtjof Nansen’s incredible expeditions to the Arctic and Antarctic aboard the polar ship Fram. Three expeditions of this kind were made with this vessel. After a tour of the museum there will be time to see the interior of the vessel. Walk across to the Norwegian Maritime Museum, where you’ll learn more of Norway’s maritime heritage. At the cinema, enjoy a 20 minute video about Norway. The film is called ‘The Ocean – a Way of Life’ and you’ll get to travel from the southern tip of the country to the far north.

Leaving the port of Athinios you’ll head to the picturesque town of Oia. Built high up on the ridge of red rocks, it offers breathtaking views of the blue Aegean and the caldera below. You’ll leave your coach for a stroll around the narrow streets filled with quaint shops and cafes. In one of the famous Oia restaurants you’ll have the opportunity to taste Santorini mezes (Greek snack) along with a glass of local wine while enjoying the magnificent views of the Caldera. The tour concludes at the hilltop village of Fira, where you'll have the option of returning directly to the ship or remaining in town to shop or explore independently. From Fira, join the cable car (ticket provided) and descend independently to the old port. Note: Tour involves walking for approximately 1/4 mile on mostly level ground, some steps and cobblestone streets. Amount of walking and exertion during free time is up to you. Not recommended for guests in wheelchairs. Flat comfortable walking shoes, sun hats, sun glasses and bottled water recommended.
