You’ll visit Pisa first, to avoid the heavy traffic backup entering Florence in the morning. Arriving in Pisa, your escort will walk you to the famous Miracle Square to enjoy some free time to take pictures of the Leaning Tower. Continue to Florence, where in the early afternoon, you’ll be dropped off at a central location in Florence and have approximately 3 1/2 hours to shop and explore the city at your leisure. If you want to explore fascinating Florence on your own and also indulge in the flavors of the world famous wines of its surrounding countryside, this is the perfect tour for you. You’ll travel to Florence via motorcoach with an English-speaking guide and then visit a wine producing estate. You’ll be dropped off at a central location in Florence and have approximately 3 1/2 hours to shop and explore the city at your leisure. At the end of your free time you’ll meet your escort and reboard your coach for a ride of approximately 1 hour to Castello del Trebbio. Built by the Pazzi family in 1184, in 1968 it was purchased and restored by the Baj Macario family who currently live and work in the castle.
The family run estate offers high quality products such as wine and extra virgin olive oil. You’ll visit the castle and the cellars, while listening to the glorious history of the place turned into the up-to-date reality of wine and olive oil makers. After tasting the wines accompanied by Tuscan specialties, you’ll have some free time to wander amongst the grapevines and olive trees or simply relax and enjoy the views before the return drive.

A visit to Fez will transport you back to ancient times as you walk through the narrow alleyways of this mystical city; the soul of Morocco. This journey will be well worth the long, over three hour drive. A brief orientation drive through Rabat on your way to Fez will acquaint you with the capital city. Once in Fez, you’ll visit the Dar Batha Museum, displaying a rich collection of hand crafted pottery that traces Morocco’s cultural history, in addition to other important collections. The most beautiful of all Moroccan ceramic objects were made by Fez craftsmen.
You’ll have a great photo opportunity in front of the Royal Palace, a great example of Arab-Islamic architecture. See the Al Quaraouiyine University, the first university in Morocco, and the second in the Arab and Islamic world. Near the main gate of the city is the former Jewish quarter. During your walk through the Babr’ssif section, stop at a wool dyeing factory. You'll also stop at a tannery where they process leather for slippers, jackets, wallets and other leather goods. Visit the beautiful Attarine School, founded in the 14th century. The carved stucco and glazed tile revetment evoke the Nasrid palace of the Alhambra in Spain. Another great photo opportunity is the 14th-century fountain in the Nejjarine area. You’ll enjoy lunch at a typical Moroccan restaurant.

This two day tour is designed to offer you an all-embracing experience to get to know the city of Istanbul. You’ll begin with an orientation drive which reveals Istanbul's connections between Europe and Asia. Continue to traveling over the Golden Horn toward the Old City. Your tour includes a visit to the ancient Hippodrome followed by the Blue Mosque, renowned for its architectural harmony, proportion, elegance, and its six minarets. Visit the St. Sophia Museum, a masterpiece of Byzantine architecture. Built originally as a cathedral, it later became a mosque and then finally a museum. Next, head to Topkapi Palace, a great walled complex and once the residence of the Ottoman Sultans. There you’ll have the opportunity to admire many of its great treasures. You’ll also visit the Underground Cistern, the largest and most magnificent covered cistern in Istanbul. In addition you’ll visit, Ibrahim Pasha Palace, known as the Turkish Islamic Museum of Arts, located on the west side of Hippodrome, exhibits a variety of items that include antique kilims, manuscripts, Islamic calligraphy, carved and inlaid wood, ironworks, stone sculptures, stained glass and folk art as well as the Ethnological collection, which is devoted mainly to the nomads of Anatolia. The Museum also hosts the most valuable ancient Turkish carpets belonging to the original Usak and Selcuk Carpet collections. You’ll have a chance to explore the exotic atmosphere of the covered part for a brief period of time. You’ll also visit the open and modern section which offers the best artworks and most reliable shopping. Here, you’ll see a presentation on the unique art of Turkish carpets and be given additional time to shop. Enjoy some complimentary refreshments while you shop and stroll in the handicraft store. A traditional Turkish lunch is included on your second day. Note: Tour is only available for Norwegian Jade winter sailings. This three tour combination lets you enjoy: City Highlights and the Peter & Paul Fortress, A Russian Folkloric Extravaganza and Peterhof Russian Versailles.
Day 1: Your coach brings you to the city center, the Spit of Vasilievsky Island, to enjoy the magnificent view of the Neva River and the Rostral Columns. This stop will give you a chance to take pictures of the Winter Palace and other buildings of the Hermitage Museum, as well as the St. Peter and Paul Fortress situated right across the river. The tour continues inside the fortress. Once inside the cathedral, admire the beauty of its marble columns, glittering chandeliers, and painted decor combined with carved and gilded iconostasis, create a magnificent setting for the tombs of the Romanov monarchs. In July 1998 the remains of the last Russian Tsar, Nicholas II and his family were also buried in this cathedral. After the guided tour of the St. Peter and Paul Cathedral and Fortress grounds, you continue on a drive along the embankments of the Neva River. With a stop at St. Isaac’s Cathedral for another photo opportunity. The tour ends at St. Isaac’s Square from where your coach will take you back to the pier.
Day 1 Evening: Later in the evening you’ll be taken to the concert hall to enjoy a Russian Folkloric performance. Get acquainted with the fascinating songs and dances from the nations inhabiting Russia, and the republics of the former Soviet Union. You'll be offered Russian Champagne and mineral water. This evening will take you on a spiritual journey through different regions of Russia, with energetic dances of Don Cossacks and melodic Russian, Ukrainian and Gypsy songs including the world-famous Kalinka and Katyusha.
Day 2:Take a short drive to Peterhof, the town of palaces, fountains and parks, was built by Peter the Great to rival Versailles. It lies on the southern shore of the Gulf of Finland, 22 miles west of St. Petersburg. After a short walk from the parking lot you’ll reach the main entrance of the Grand Palace. Built in the beginning of the 18th century, Peterhof is known as the most brilliant of all the summer residences of the Russian Tsars. The estate construction spanned two centuries, and upon its completion it encompassed seven parks and more than 20 smaller palaces and pavilions. Peter himself designed the layout of the 300-acre park and spectacular fountains. During World War II, the estate was occupied and all the buildings and fountains were completely demolished. Peterhof is also a monument to Soviet reconstruction, as the place was looted and practically razed to the ground by Nazi troops. For many years the palace and the Grand Cascade were under extensive restoration.

A very fast paced, but rewarding day awaits. This ultimate scenic tour includes the most spectacular sites along the Campanian coast, including Pompeii, possibly the most famous excavation in the world. Start with a fast-boat ride to Marina Grande in Capri, a port lined with colorful old fishermen’s houses. A funicular will take you up to a terrace with a marvelous scenic overlook of the small island, the coast and the sparkling sea. Walk to the piazzetta, the heart of Capri’s shopping and nightlife. You’ll visit Augustus Gardens with your guide, or if you prefer, explore the narrow streets, take in the magnificent views, or relax at an outdoor cafe. You’ll then continue to Sorrento by jet-foil where lunch awaits. After lunch, you’ll have some time to wander the flower-filled streets or admire the high-quality handicrafts for which Sorrento is famous. Head to Pompeii where you’ll enter by the sea gate and visit the city’s baths, villas, theaters and wrestling grounds. Because Pompeii is so well preserved, you can see many fine details that reveal the lifestyles of the residents, such as mosaic floors and colorful frescoes in some of the homes. Time permitting, visit a cameo factory near Pompeii and browse handmade jewelry. Note: Tour is not available for winter sailings.
