Depart the pier and take a short walk across to the train station to board your exclusively chartered standard train for an approximate 3 to 3 1/2 hour journey from Warnemunde to Berlin. While relaxing and watching the German countryside pass by, you’ll be served a light breakfast snack. Upon arrival at one of Berlin’s train stations, your local Berlin tour guide will welcome and assist you to board your coach. Your sightseeing tour begins with an overview of some of the major highlights of Berlin. You’ll pass by remnants of the Berlin Wall, Alexanderplatz Square, Checkpoint Charlie, the Red City Hall, Unter den Linden Boulevard, Gendarmenmarkt Square, Potsdam Square, the Victory Column, Bellevue Palace, Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag government building and Bebelplatz with the Empty Library memorial. After passing these world-famous landmarks and attractions, you’ll have the opportunity to spend approximately 3 hours on your own to visit a museum, do some shopping or return to some of the sights for closer inspection. After your time at leisure, you’ll meet your escort at a central point and return by coach to the train station, where you board your private train for the return journey to Warnemunde. Note: Lunch is not included on this tour. The order of the sights may vary. less

Are you the type of person who wants to explore a destination on your own? Then don't miss this convenient opportunity for an organized transfer into the heart of Berlin. Depart the pier and take a short walk across to the train station to board your exclusively chartered standard train for an approximate 3 to 3 1/2 hour journey from Warnemunde to Berlin. While relaxing and watching the German countryside pass by, you’ll be served a light breakfast snack. Upon arrival at one of Berlin’s train stations, your escort will accompany you on a short coach transfer to a central drop off point in Berlin from where you’ll explore Berlin on your own. Return to a central train station in the early evening as your escort has instructed you, for your return train journey back to Warnemunde. Note: Upon arrival at Berlin station, you’ll receive a short coach transfer from the station to a central drop point. You spend time on your own in Berlin and also return to the departure station on your own. The tour price does not include any entrance fees, lunch or guiding services. It will be your responsibility to be at the return train station at the instructed departure time. Please note that actual time available to spend in Berlin will be subject to arrival/departure time and the station used for arrival/departure. This may cause a variation in time for exploration. You’ll be provided with exact directions, emergency contact details, specifications and details of how to get around in Berlin and back to the designated departure train station. If you want to explore these fascinating places on your own, we are pleased to provide a motorcoach transfer to Florence and Pisa, complete with an English-speaking escort. You’ll visit Pisa first, to avoid the heavy traffic backup entering Florence in the morning. Arriving in Pisa, your escort will walk you to the famous Miracle Square to enjoy some free time to take pictures of the Leaning Tower. Continue to Florence, where in the early afternoon, you’ll be dropped off at a central location in Florence and have approximately 3 1/2 hours to shop and explore the city at your leisure. Note: The photo stop in Pisa is not guided and you’ll have to walk from the bus parking area approximately 15 minutes each way. There will be only one departure from both Florence & Pisa; please return to the meeting point at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Guests who are planning to visit religious sites, please dress appropriately; no bare shoulders or shorts are allowed. The level of exertion on this tour is completely up to you. less
