Depart the pier and take a short walk across to the train station to board your exclusively chartered standard train for an approximate 3 to 3 1/2 hour journey from Warnemunde to Berlin. While relaxing and watching the German countryside pass by, you’ll be served a light snack. Upon arrival at one of Berlin’s train stations, your local Berlin tour guide will welcome and assist you to board your coach. Your sightseeing tour begins with an overview of some of the major highlights of Berlin. You’ll pass by remnants of the Berlin Wall, Alexanderplatz Square, Checkpoint Charlie, the Red City Hall, Unter den Linden Boulevard, Gendarmenmarkt Square, Potsdam Square, the Victory Column, Bellevue Palace, Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag government building and Bebelplatz with the Empty Library memorial. After passing these world-famous landmarks and attractions, you’ll have the opportunity to spend approximately 3 hours on your own to visit a museum, do some shopping or return to some of the sights for closer inspection. On this exclusive tour, you’ll see some of the most beautiful sights of Norway. Drive past the Bryggen and the Hanseatic quarters before heading to the village of Voss. Here, you’ll board a train that will take you through beautiful agricultural areas before continuing the journey towards the mountain areas. At Myrdal station, you’ll change trains and board the Flåm Line that takes you down the mountain to the tiny village of Flåm. Flåm is situated by the Sognefjord – the King of the Fjords; the longest and deepest fjord in Norway. After a short break in Flåm, you’ll board your coach and drive to Gudvangen. The first part of the drive will be through the recently built tunnels and at the other side of the mountain lies the village of Gudvangen – the Bay of Gods. From here, the road takes you up the narrow Nærøydalen - translated as 'The Narrow Valley'. After maneuvering the many hairpin bends of the Stalheim Canyon, you’ll reach Stalheim Hotel where a fantastic view of the Nærøy Valley and a delicious lunch await. After lunch, the tour continues along Opheim Lake and further on to Tvinde Waterfalls, where a stop will be made. We drive through Voss village and via Dale back to Bergen. The Hardanger Fjord is one of the favorites among the many Norwegian fjords. You’ll start by driving by the fortress of Bergenhus, King Håkon's Hall and the Rosenkrantz Tower. Pass by the buildings of the Hanseatic period and the fish market of Bergen. Continue to the Bjørnefjord, where you’ll have a short drive along the fjord with lovely views of islands and snowcapped mountains in the distance. Reach Hatvik, and cross the fjord by ferry to Venjaneset on the opposite side. Once at Mundheim, link up with the Hardangerfjord - the queen of the fjords. Near the village of Norheimsund, make a stop for lunch and continue to the Steinsdal waterfall. Here, the water falls away from the cliff enabling you to walk underneath without getting wet! Then, climb up the Tokagjel gorge via several tunnels and reach the mountain plateau Kvamskogen. Descend to the fjord once more before climbing up to Gulbotn, a recreation area with lit up skiing tracks. Lastly, come down to the Sørfjord, where you’ll find Oster Island, the largest island on the west coast. Note: This tour may operate in reverse order. less

Your tour starts with an orientation drive through the Eternal City, passing through Piazza Venezia, the Roman Forum, the Arch of Constantine and the famed Colosseum. After lunch, visit the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel, boasting Michelangelo’s magnificent ceiling. You’ll gaze in awe at Piazza San Pietro, one of the world’s most beautiful squares that faces the largest church in the world, St. Peter’s. Some of its fabulous treasures will be shown to you by your guide during a brief visit. You’ll then rejoin your motorcoach for the return to Civitavecchia. Learn about its traditions and sample Paella, the symbol of Spanish cuisine which originated in the rice fields of Valencia. Walk through Plaza de la Reina in the historical center and discover its monuments and architecture. Visit the Cathedral and learn many of its secrets while you admire its great works of arts, such as the spectacular angel frescoes and paintings by Goya. Stop at La Lonja de la Seda “the Silk Exchange” declared Heritage of Mankind by UNESCO and experience the market scene like a local at the Central Market.
Take a break at the famous Horchateria Santa Catalina and a sample a local popular drink, horchata or orxata. Learn about Valencia’s most colorful festival Las Fallas as you visit the Fallero Museum. Each year, one of the intricate and humorous figures is saved by popular vote and housed at the museum. The tour starts with and internal visit of the largest and most important amphitheater - the Colosseum. This imposing structure is 160 feet high and covers about 6 acres. It has four levels of seats and could hold 50,000 spectators who watched gladiatorial battles and other events. After visiting this magnificent structure with your guide, you’ll continue to the Roman Forum which was the political, economic and religious centre of ancient Rome. Walk through the ruins of various temples, tribunals and other buildings which were used for public and private business. From here, you’ll continue to see an iconic fountain of Rome - the Trevi Fountain. The high-baroque Fontana di Trevi was designed by Nicola Salvi in 1732 and today is one of Rome’s most spectacular fountains. Legend has it that you can ensure your return to Rome by tossing a coin in the fountain. After lunch in a typical Italian restaurant, you’ll proceed to St. Peter's Square and visit St. Peter's Basilica. You’ll have some free time to explore on your own before driving back to Civitavecchia and to your ship. As you approach Florence, you'll stop at the Piazza Michelangelo for an overview of the city's tiled roofs, steeples and domes. All the main attractions in Florence are centrally located and perfect for a walking tour. First, you'll visit the Galleria Dell'Accademia where you can see Michelangelo's famous Statue of David, and best of all, you’ll have a reserved time for entering so you won't have to stand in long lines! You'll visit Piazza del Duomo, the religious center of Florence in front of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. The Hermitage Museum ranks among the most prestigious museums in the world, containing about three million objects of unparalleled importance. The route takes you through the State Rooms of the Winter Palace, the collection of Western European art featuring Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Titian and others, Dutch and Flemish Art collections, including masterpieces by Rembrandt, Rubens and Van Dyck, and the French Impressionists Collection. You’ll see the collection of Spanish art (second only to Madrid’s Prado), and the collection of French art, which is the largest outside France, displaying works by Degas, Renoir, Monet, Cezzanne, Van Gogh, Gauguin, and Matisse.
From the Hermitage, your coach proceeds to drive towards one of the main landmarks of St. Petersburg – the Church on Spilled Blood. This exquisitely decorated cathedral was built on the spot were Tsar Alexander II had been fatally wounded by a member of the People’s Will revolutionary terrorist organization on March I, 1881. Combining the artistic styles of the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries, the cathedral is a kaleidoscope of decorative elements, with an extensive collection of mosaics that cover over 8,400 square yards, and five domes that are covered with more than 1,000 square yards of jeweler’s enamel.
