After a drive through the city, you arrive at the Sapphire Tower and visit its observation deck on the 54th floor. On a clear day, you’ll admire a complete view of the Bosphorus Straight, from the Sea of Marmara to the Black Sea. You’ll also see the Golden Horn, the red tiled roof tops and modern skyscrapers of the modern section of the city. Then, fasten your seatbelts for the amazing multi-sensory experience of the Skyride Simulator. Feel lifted into the air and the wind in your hair while your helicopter soars through the Istanbul skyline. The Brillance of Bosphorus, the charm of Maiden's Tower, the glorious Hagia Sophia, the mystery of Topkapı Palace, the magnificence of Blue Mosque, fire dances in the Basilica Cistern, whirling dervishes in humility and crowds in Taksim are waiting for you. After your virtual experience, keep enjoying your day with a real ride to Taksim Square for a walking tour on Istiklal Street. You’ll experience the vibrant streets of downtown cosmopolitan Istanbul, with many points of historical, architectural and cultural interest including Christian, Greek and Armenian churches, picturesque shopping arcades and passages, old Ottoman Hans, bazaars and coffee houses all bustling with shoppers, students and young professionals. You will arrive at the Beyoğlu Fish Market "Balık Pazarı" area, where wondrous array of fish can be found, in fact, most fish restaurants in Istanbul purchase their fish here. Nowhere in Turkey, not even Istanbul's Wholesale Fish Market, can compete with the rich variety of edible water-bound yummies that abound here. There is octopus from Bodrum, calamari from Antalya, shrimp from Çanakkale, grouper from Saroz Bay and delectable fresh "fruits of the sea." And that's not all! You can also find any kind of “meze” (the tasty tapas eaten as an appetizer with rakı), especially kinds seafood mezes. The Fish Bazaar also houses the most important fruit and vegetable market in Istanbul, with the freshest and widest variety of produce available. This open market is filled with different sights and sounds, and its passages lead to yet another street filled with restaurants and drinking spots; a street that is an alternative destination on its own. Nevizade Sokağı (Nevizade Street) has scores of tables set on the street and accommodates patrons with the freshest fish in the city (brought over directly from the Bazaar). The next stop will be traditional and historical candy store, called "KOSKA". You will be offered to taste delicious Turkish Delights and other sweet specialties with shopping opportunity. This panoramic tour will take you to Cabo Girao, the highest sea cliff in Europe and the second highest in the world offering breathtaking views. Next you’ll visit Camara de Lobos, the traditional fishing village that inspired Sir Winston Churchill to paint its lovely surroundings. It was named by explorers Joao Goncalves Zarco and Tristao Vaz Teixeira because of the shape of its bay and the many sea lions (lobos de mar) that lived there at the time. Here you’ll have free time to explore this traditional, picturesque village. You’ll then be driven towards Funchal to sample the famous Madeira wine at the Madeira Wine Company.

Note: his tour involves walking on level ground with some steps in order to gain access to the edge of the cliff at Cabo Girao and at the Madeira Wine Lodge. A jacket is recommended as Madeira has a microclimate.
