Enjoy a scenic boat ride while waiting your turn to rise above it all. Because no experience is necessary, parasailing is safe and fun for everyone. Each participant will receive a 10 minute parasail ride when flying single, 12 minutes for tandem rides, or 14 minutes for triple rides. Note: Participants must be at least 6 years of age. Minimum weight to fly alone is approximately 130 lbs. Maximum weight, to fly alone, tandem or as a triple rider, is approximately 450 lbs. The Captain may change these restrictions at any time for safety. This activity is not recommended for people who have physical limitations that may be aggravated by parasailing or by riding on a speed boat. less

Enjoy Kona's underwater paradise without getting wet! Cruise aboard Marian, a 36-foot glass-bottom boat specially designed to cruise within inches of the reef. Have your camera ready to capture the colorful fish, corals and other sea creatures. Marian is designed with shaded comfort and clear viewing, and as you cruise along, you'll enjoy breathtaking vistas of the island's rugged shoreline. Step forward to the bow and you might see frolicking dolphins, or humpback whales (December-April). Throughout your adventure, the onboard naturalist will share tales and legends that evoke the magic of the sea and Hawaii. This is a perfect compliment to your day in Kona! Marian departs from your launch site at Kailua Pier, allowing you time to enjoy other excursions or a stroll through Kailua Village. Climb aboard an Atlantis submarine! Your adventure begins with a seven-minute boat ride from the Kailua-Kona pier along the scenic coast. At the underwater site, you'll transfer to the submarine to begin your undersea adventure. Atlantis submarines are the world's most technologically-advanced passenger submarines with spacious air-conditioned interiors, large view ports and comfortable seating so you can relax and enjoy Hawaii's sea life. In crystal-clear waters, the submarine will descend 100 feet underwater to explore 25 acres of coral reef gardens. The reef was formed on lava that flowed into the ocean 18,000 years ago. Inhabited by hundreds of species of tropical fish, coral and other sea life, it has been proclaimed one of the most popular sites to view Hawaii's marine life. Note: Participants must be at least 3 feet in height and must be able to safely climb, without assistance, a vertical 7-step ladder into and out of the submarine. less

Discover Scuba is easy, fun and exciting. Join your PADI Scuba instructors for a 30-minute lesson about the basics of Scuba in order to familiarize yourself with this new environment. This is followed by a session in a shallow water lagoon to practice the skills you just learned and to become more comfortable with your equipment prior to paddling to the shoreline reef. The dive proceeds at the participants' pace and your instructor is with you throughout the whole experience. This is a very safe and easy introduction to diving and Hawaii's underwater world. Swim past colorful reef fish, turtles and beautiful corals. Don't miss this opportunity to discover the spectacular underwater world. Note: Participants must be at least 10 years of age. Maximum depth is 40 feet. All gear is included. This is not a certification program. Guests may not use waterproof cameras while diving, as per PADI standards. Here, in the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Gardens, more than 2,500 species of tropical plant life have been assembled from regions all over the world; and the plants are labeled for easy identification. Your adventure begins at a black-sand beach in the heart of Hilo, just a short distance from the cruise ship pier. Enjoy a great time on the water with fun guides and amazing views and look out for a glimpse of the Mauna Kea Summit. Hilo is America's wettest city, so be prepared for plenty of rainbows and a lush tropical coastline. Your kayaking excursion will take you out past Coconut Island and along Hilo's shoreline with magnificent views of the Wailoa Park Estuary and the Wailuku River Waterfall, where the 18-mile river reaches the ocean. Your adventure starts with a short drive to the headwaters of the four-mile-long Hanamaulu Ditch system where you'll begin your two-mile tubing journey. Grab a tube and jump in for a leisurely tubing expedition. Witness Kauai's spectacular flora as you float down the tropical waterway of open ditches and tunnels, all of which were engineered and hand dug in 1870. At the end of your adventure, you'll enjoy delicious snacks beside a pristine swimming hole.
