Celebrate the honor, valor and courage of the World War II US servicemen on this special tour. This nostalgic journey takes you to the two places that marked the beginning and the end of the war for the United States - Pearl Harbor and the USS Missouri. At the site of Pearl Harbor, visit the Arizona Memorial where the remains of the USS Arizona lie silent beneath the waves. The 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor will unfold in detailed narrations and photos. From here you'll travel across the Ford Island Bridge to the historic USS Missouri battleship, nicknamed the 'Mighty Mo.' Explore the passages, rooms and corridors on a self-guided tour. Note: This tour is only available for guests with flights after 6:00 pm. Guests are responsible for ensuring their debarkation tours are compatible with their flight departure times. This tour does not necessarily drop off at all NCL program hotels, please check with the shore excursions staff onboard as to which hotel drop-offs are available. Guests have the option to book their flights through our Premium Air Department to ensure that flight departure times do not interfere with debark tours. Due to heightened security, absolutely no purses, backpacks, fanny packs or camera cases are allowed at Pearl Harbor. Cameras are permitted, but not camera cases. Snacks will be available for purchase. Participants must be able to safely climb a nearly vertical ladder if they wish to experience some areas of the USS Missouri. less

Take an exclusive journey through the history of Kilohana, the Manor House, train and Kalamaku show. This specially created evening begins with a ride on the Kauai Plantation Railway. This is an authentic narrow-gauge railroad that conducts tours of working tropical agriculture crops within the Kilohana estate and on surrounding lands. Powered by a diesel-engine locomotive, passengers ride in four restored King Kalakaua-style wooden cars. Your next stop will be at 22 North, a perfectly restored manor house at Kilohana which was the most expensive and beautiful home ever built on Kauai. You’ll delight in a unique meal featuring Kauai-grown meats, fish and produce, including fruits and vegetables from Kilohana Plantation’s 60-acre orchard and agricultural park. The manor house has been designated as a state historic landmark and has been restored to its vintage 1930 style. After dinner, you’ll be escorted to the Kalamaku show and your preferred performance seating. This is the story of a family journey across the vast blue waters of the Pacific with the spirit of the ocean as their guide. Our narrator recounts this epic tale through old Hawaiian chants and song while the dancers keep their rhythms against the strong beat of the drums. The story climaxes with a fantastic fire dream featuring fire poi balls and traditional fire knife dancing. Note: Beverages at 22 North are available for purchase. Beverages and premium seating is included at the Kalamaku show. Must be at least 21 years of age and provide a valid ID to consume alcohol. Participants between the ages of 3 and 17 years of age will be charged the child rate. Price reflected on NCL.com is inclusive of the $10 Pre-book savings. less

Sit back and enjoy the sights along the famed Hana Highway without having to navigate the twisting, curving road yourself. An expert driver takes the wheel, while you take in the incredible scenery: lava cliffs, tumbling waterfalls, the rugged northern coastline, and tropical hillsides. You’ll visit various sites along the way to 'heavenly Hana,' the wonderfully isolated, unspoiled region between the eastern slopes of Haleakala and the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy lunch on your own at Hana Ranch before heading to the Kipahulu District of Haleakala National Park. There you’ll have the chance to photograph the glistening pools formed by several waterfalls cascading down the side of Haleakala. Before heading back to your ship, indulge your taste buds and try some local wine at the Tedeschi Winery. Note: Participants must be at least 6 years of age. This tour is not recommended for those guests who are prone to motion sickness or suffer from back problems, as part of the road traveled is unpaved. After departing the pier, drive directly to Pearl Harbor and the Arizona Memorial Visitor Center. Following a short orientation, a motor launch will take you to the memorial, which straddles the hull of the USS Arizona. This is the final resting place for many of the crewmen killed on December 7, 1941. Enjoy a stop at the statue of the great ruler, King Kamehameha. This scenic journey takes you through upcountry Maui to the top of the world's largest dormant volcano, Haleakala. At the summit is a vast crater measuring seven-and-a-half miles long by two and-a-half miles wide. This dormant volcano last erupted in 1790 and imparts a sense of awesome power by virtue of its size alone. Haleakala Crater is a natural wonder and is the highest point on Maui. The views from the top at over 10,000 feet above sea level are magnificent. On a clear day, you'll even enjoy views of Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea. From the rim, you'll be able to appreciate firsthand the unique beauty of this massive crater with its interesting mix of volcanic rock and plant life, some of which, like the silversword plant, is found only in Hawaii's volcanic craters. Note: This tour is not recommended for guests with respiratory or heart problems. We recommend you bring a sweater as temperatures range between 40-65 degrees Fahrenheit at the crater's top. less

Explore Volcanoes National Park and learn about Hawaii's Goddess of Fire, Madame Pele, as you drive along the crater's rim as allowed by park rangers; due to activity, parts may be closed. Standing at just over 4,000 feet, Kilauea is not the tallest volcano on the Big Island, but it's certainly the most active. Pass the Kilauea Iki Crater before stopping at the Thurston Lava Tube, where a short walk gives you the opportunity for an up-close view of an extinct lava tube. This tour also visits the Jaggar Museum, where you'll view Halema`uma`u Fire Pit. Finally, end your day with a visit to Big Island Candies where you can sample the tasty treats and take some home. Note: Please be advised that while at Volcanoes National Park, you may encounter natural sulfur gases which can affect those with respiratory problems and you won't see molten lava. Thurston Lava Tube is not wheelchair accessible due to uneven pathways and steps. An additional optional shopping stop may be provided. less

Explore the wonders of our island home and learn about our Hawaiian culture, the creation of our islands, and the many plants and animals that thrive in our tropical environment. At Panaewa Rainforest Zoo, America’s only rainforest zoo, you will see over 100 varieties of palms and displays of native and introduced plants. Many native exotic animals and birds make their home here in lush exhibits, including Namaste, a beautiful white Bengal tiger. A visit to Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Factory provides an opportunity to sample the many goodies made with our favorite nut. You may view the production process, from tree to package, and walk around the garden setting surrounded by the 250,000 mac nut tree orchard. Next you’ll walk along the sites in Lava Tree State Park. The sites will amaze you, as the lava trees and your driver/narrator tell the story of when a native Ohia forest was overrun by lava flows in the late 1700s. On our way to Ahalanui Park, you will see the flow fields of the eruption that destroyed the village of Kapoho in 1960. When we arrive at Ahalanui Park, you will have time to enjoy a dip, or dangle your feet in the geothermal warm waters of the pond, and relax with a picnic lunch as you enjoy the ocean views before we head back to the ship. less
