This unique tubing adventure takes you back in time to private lands never before open to the public. Your adventure starts with a short drive to the headwaters of the four-mile-long Hanamaulu Ditch system where you'll begin your two-mile tubing journey. Grab a tube and jump in for a leisurely tubing expedition. Witness Kauai's spectacular flora as you float down the tropical waterway of open ditches and tunnels, all of which were engineered and hand dug in 1870. At the end of your adventure, you'll enjoy delicious snacks beside a pristine swimming hole. Note: Participants must be at least 5 years of age, weigh no more than 300 lbs. and be at least 43 inches in height. Not recommended for guests who are claustrophobic, pregnant or those with back problems. Wear a swimsuit and bring a towel. less

This amazing river kayak adventure takes you into the 241-acre Huleia National Wildlife Refuge, a refuge not open to the public. The Huleia is home to some of Hawaii's native wetland birds and plants. Visit famous movie locations in the shade of mango trees along the shore of the river. At the end of your 2 1/2-mile downwind paddle, you'll take an interesting 1/2-mile nature walk along an exotic forest trail. Next, your guides will take you on a short van ride to the head of a lush jungle trail where you begin your hike to two secluded, very private waterfalls! The largest waterfall, Jungle Falls, is 50 feet and drops into a shallow pool where you can relax and enjoy this tropical setting. Wrap up your journey with a custom-made deli lunch in a 'picnic hale' on a bluff overlooking the Huleia Valley. Note: Participants must be at least 6 years of age and weigh no more than 250 lbs. Wear a swimsuit, water shoes or sport sandals, and bring a towel. less

Hear the incredible legend of the Menehune Fishpond from a knowledgeable guide as you paddle past it. Take a one-mile guided nature walk through the rainforest and learn about the unique plant and animal life of the area, and how the ancient Hawaiians lived in harmony with nature. See actual film locations from "Raiders of the Lost Ark" then take a leap off a rope swing for a refreshing dip in a cool mountain pool, just like Indiana Jones himself! That’s only the beginning on this amazing adventure that combines a seven stage zip line course, a stroll through the famous World Botanical Gardens and a beautiful waterfall viewing in an exclusive area of the island. You’ll be surrounded by beauty as you hike from one line to the next in this tropical wonderland. A portion of the hike is on a suspension bridge that cuts through the jungle with several small waterfalls below your feet. This course was created to fill the senses with anticipation and excitement in a safe and fun environment for the entire family. This beach trip is very personalized and great for all levels of swimmers. A snorkeling site, in calm waters inside a protected reef, will be chosen based on the best ocean and weather conditions. After being outfitted with all snorkel equipment, including wetsuits, you'll receive full instructions and begin snorkeling in a shallow area with no more than seven people per guide. Your guides are marine life experts and provide information about the many colorful fish and coral you see as they lead you out to the reef. You may even encounter green sea turtles! No visit to Hawaii would be complete without some fun in the surf. Learn to surf at Chava Greenlee's Surfing School. One of Kauai's most famous professional surfers will have you 'shooting the curl' in no time. Upon your arrival at the Poipu Beach area, expert instructors will first instruct you on land before you paddle out to ride your first wave. Instructors will be in the water with you for one hour, then you get to practice on your own for 45 additional minutes with your instructor supervising from shore. You couldn't pick a better time to experience the thrill and excitement of surfing. Be sure to purchase your personalized photo before returning to your ship. Enjoy a two-tank guided dive on the new custom-built dive vessel, Diversity. The PADI Scuba instructor or dive master will outfit you with your gear and give you an orientation. The whole dive proceeds at the participants' pace and your instructor is with you throughout the whole experience. There are 60 possible dive sites to choose from in Kona, which the boat Captain will choose from depending on weather and sea conditions. Swim through lava tubes and watch for turtles, manta rays and even dolphins. Marvel at the incredible array of colorful fish and bountiful coral that are found here. Don't miss out; we'll see you beneath the waves. Note: Participants must be at least 10 years of age. Dive includes tanks, weights, refreshments and snacks. Gear rental is extra, payable to the operator ($10 for BCD and $10 for regulators). Maximum depth is 60 feet for dive number one and 50 feet for dive number two. Your incredible day begins with a narrated drive to the stables, where your experienced guide will provide you with basic riding and safety instructions. For approximately 1 1/2 hours on horseback, expert guides will escort you through the ancient Mahaulepu area that draws beach goers, windsurfers and local fishermen alike. You'll cross over a sand bar and stream, ride past beaches and bays, and see abundant native foliage and birds. Your guides will share ancient legends and local lore. After your ride, you'll be met in a designated area for the relaxing return to your ship. Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age and weigh no more than 225 lbs. Not recommended for pregnant women or guests with back, hip and knee problems. You must be comfortable riding a horse, although experience is not necessary. This trail ride is at a walking pace only. Closed-toe shoes are required. less
