Next prepare to board your powered catamaran for a once in a lifetime cruise of Kona’s history. Step aboard and step back in time, when ancient kings ruled the islands to the arrival of Captain Cook in Kealakekua Bay. Witness many points of interest including Hawaiian temples known as Heiau, the Holua slide, battlefields and the birth place of King Kamehameha to mention a few. Take an exclusive journey through the history of Kilohana, the Manor House, train and Kalamaku show. This specially created evening begins with a ride on the Kauai Plantation Railway. The manor house has been designated as a state historic landmark and has been restored to its vintage 1930 style. Our narrator recounts this epic tale through old Hawaiian chants and song while the dancers keep their rhythms against the strong beat of the drums.
