Enjoy a five-hour fishing excursion to the richest game fishing grounds know to anglers. As the boat heads out to the fishing area, the poles will be set with lures by the mate to minimize the possibility of the lines becoming tangled. The type of fishing is trolling. Boats do not troll with live bait, as it is good for perhaps fifteen minutes maximum. This means the boat will be in the open ocean and four lines with lures will be utilized in pole holders and outriggers. All of the hooked fish will be rotated between the participants on the boat. When a fish is spotted, the mate will reel in the four lines and then set a line with the live bait. If a fish takes the bait, the mate will 'set the hook' and give the pole to the first person in the fighting chair. When the first person has landed the fish (or if the fish got away), the next person will have the next hooked fish and so on. When everyone has had a turn in the chair the rotation will start over. Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age. Due to the nature of this tour, pregnant women or guests with any known medical condition or history of illness, including heart ailment, knee/spinal/neck pain or injury or any other recent injury should not participate. Typically six participants will share a boat, however arrangements can be made, at additional costs to share a boat by two or three anglers, thereby improving your chances of catching a fish. It’s a jungle out there - and we’ll guide you through it. Drive along the scenic coastal highway to Mismaloya, one of the most exciting jungle locations in the foothills of the mountains. This exotic tropical forest has been the set of several films, thanks to its dense vegetation and the absolute primal nature of the area. In this jungle paradise you’ll have plenty of time to explore the surroundings and take a swim in the natural pools formed by the river and guided walking tour. A Mexican lunch will be served under the palapa before you head back to town where you can either return to your ship or stay in town for some shopping before returning to your ship on your own. Your guide will provide you an educational as well as entertaining trip into a world normally seen through the eyes of fish. The vessel never leaves the surface as you motor along sitting safe and sound eight feet below. Just on the other side of your glass window you’ll come face to face with the underwater creatures around Pelican Rock - the #1 dive spot in Cabo. Your turnaround point is Land’s End, the last tip of rock, the last bit of land in Baja California. This is where the waters of the Sea of Cortez meet those of the Pacific Ocean. Go up to the surface for great photos of the arch and the sea lion colony. The sub will take you back to the pier with your memories and camera filled with the underwater wonders of Cabo! Note: Children under the age of 4 are free of charge but must remain seated on parents lap. This tour is not recommended for those passengers with claustrophobia or those prone to seasickness. As the road weaves through the mountains, you'll enjoy fantastic scenery and typical scenes of rural Mexican life, making the journey both breathtaking and relaxing. Enjoy a typical lunch before your walk through town. Once in San Sebastian, wander around in this very peaceful town, which has changed so little in hundreds of years. Come across a quaint cobblestone plaza lined by dignified white buildings, a classic Porfirian bandstand, an 18th century church dedicated to San Sebastián and many old world Haciendas. San Sebastián is a living museum untouched by time, and an experience that is difficult to surpass. Note: Bring comfortable shoes and clothing, insect repellent, sunscreen and cash. Your tour begins as you board a van or motorcoach at the pier and travel to Gringo Gulch, where you'll begin this invigorating walking tour of the picturesque town of Puerto Vallarta. Walk by the former home of Elizabeth Taylor, enjoy a magnificent view from high above the city and stroll through the market and along the famed boardwalk known as the Malecon, with the various sculptures of famous Mexican artists. At the end of the tour, you'll enjoy a complimentary drink and some free time to spend at the Olas Altas shopping district and watch the spectacular sunset. This is a PADI Learn to dive Program that offers the unique opportunity for beginners to enjoy the beauty of the underwater world in the easiest, safest and most enjoyable way. Conducted at the beach hideaway of Las Caletas by a certified PADI Scuba Instructor, you’ll learn the basics of scuba diving in just a few hours and still have time to enjoy the delights of this beautiful cove. A theory session prepares you to go into the ocean and dive in the tropical waters of Las Caletas. This one-tank dive will last approximately 30 minutes and will go to a maximum depth of 40 feet. Participants don’t receive a certification card, but the course does count towards the first part of the universally recognized PADI Open Water Course. Note: Participants must be at least 12 years of age. A buffet lunch and complimentary drinks are included after the diving activities. You’ll be required to complete medical history form. Anyone with any medical condition will require doctor's consent note. Equipment is provided. You’ll not receive a certification card but the course does count towards the first part of the universally recognized PADI Open Water course. less
