Experience a guided tour of the colorful history and characters of Key West on beach cruiser bikes without breaking a sweat. After a short 10 minute walk from your ship you’ll be briefed and suited with your own bike. On this expedition you’ll cruise by some of the best sites Key West has to offer, from Jimmy Buffett’s Old House, Margaritaville, Sloppy Joe’s and Ernest Hemmingway’s house. A quick stop at the famous Key West Cemetery where the final resting place to many of Key West's most colorful characters are. Throughout this journey you’ll hear about the history of the 'Conch Republic', Havana Water Skiing Mayors, Ship Wrecking and Pirates. Note: Participants must be at least 12 years of age, 4 feet tall and be able to pedal at least 10 minutes continuously between each stop. Bikes are 26 inch Beach Cruisers. Take part in one of Mexico’s most valued traditions as you taste a variety of Mexico’s famous Tequila and Mezcal. From the pier, you’ll be transferred to a historic local house that has been transformed into a boutique hotel. This charming setting boasts a collection of local folk art and exotic plant arrangements from the region. The owner will show you around the grounds before gathering the group in the dining room. Learn about the tequila and mezcal making processes as well as the different properties that make each unique. After a brief history lesson, you’ll have the opportunity to taste some of Mexico’s best tequila and mezcal. Then, enjoy a demonstration on how to mix tequila into the perfect margarita. Afterwards, you will travel by van to the culturally diverse city of Tapachula. Its history and heritage has been influenced not only by the Mayans, Mestizo and Spanish but by German, Chinese, Japanese and French immigrants as well. You’ll have the opportunity to visit the town square where you’ll find a historic church, the city hall building as well as vendors and small stores. You may choose to walk, sit in a café, shop or explore the archeological museum (entrance fee not included). When time’s up, you'll be escorted back to your ship. Note: Guests should wear a hat and comfortable shoes. Bring eco-friendly sunscreen and bug repellent. Most areas are not wheelchair accessible. less

Stop at key points for pictures; slow down at others so you get more than a passing glimpse. Pass by some highlights such as the cliff divers who soar from their towering perch into a tiny dot of water; the Glorieta Germania lookout point, and the 19th-century Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. This Cathedral is just one block from the public market in the heart of the downtown area. You’ll see colorful buildings from the Golden Age of European architecture in the Historic District. You can also appreciate the latest in modern design at the new Convention Center, largest of its kind in the world according to the Guinness Book of World Records. Visit the Montserrat Children’ Home, an orphanage created in 1982 by Fray Casiano de Madrid. Here, you’ll be welcomed by one of the sisters and children. Your tour guide will serve as interpreter as you are given an explanation of the programs carried at the home. You’ll meet and partake with the children as you learn about their daily duties, games and programs. These children are brought up with good values and manners which can be applied to their future adult lives. The home was operated by a group of young ladies who later became the Congregation of Missionary Sisters of the Assumption. Today, they provide comprehensive care to dozens of children from the ages of one through 18 and aim to give them the best possible quality of life. Next, visit the orchid’s farm, located in the small village of Miramar. Here, you'll learn about the orchid’s habitat, their means of cultivation, blooming and how they are prepared for export. Your guide will acquaint you with the country’s history, politics and culture while you admire the northern countryside and landscape. Costa Rica is a blessed country with year-round spring weather, and the exuberance of its flora has given it the name of Garden of the Americas. Enjoy tropical fruits buffet and refreshments before heading back to your ship. Note: Tour sequence may vary, this is a donation tour. Take a short drive to the Dolphin Center at the Nuevo Vallarta Marina. After a brief presentation, head down the dock to a 14,500-square-foot holding pen and as you stand waist-deep in the water, you’ll be introduced to the beautiful Pacific bottlenose dolphin in a hands-on, up-close encounter for approximately 15 minutes. They are as curious about you as you are about them. Take full advantage of this unique opportunity to pet them gently and you’ll even receive a dolphin kiss. During your encounter you’ll also learn ways to ensure their preservation and foster the well-being of these amazing creatures. After your activity with the dolphins, enjoy a complimentary lunch at the dolphin marina and free time to purchase souvenirs or photos to remind you and your family of this incredible experience. Note: Participants must be at least 1 year old. Infants 1 to 3 years of age can join at no charge in the arms of a participating adult. Huatulco’s surrounding communities are no exceptions if you want to take a piece of Mexico back home! Begin your tour in the small town named Piedra de Moros, where you’ll visit the medicinal plants and herbs. Receive a brief explanation of their names and which diseases they can cure. Taste a refreshing tea of lemon herb and see the traditional way of making "tortillas" and bread. Learn the use of "Nopal" (Cactus) and sample all these traditional Mexican products. Your next stop will be Santa Maria, here you’ll visit its beautiful church that was built on the 17th Century. Visit local blacksmith's artisanal shop with more than a century old, and where nowadays working tools are made with recycled materials. Then, stop by a Rustic Mezcal Factory where the elaborated process of distillation of this traditional Oaxaca´s beverage will be shown as well as the different uses of the "Maguey" plant. Return to your ship with memories of real lifestyles of Mexican Communities. Note: Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Guest must be in good health. Come and enjoy one of Mazatlan’s greatest treasures, its shrimp! A short drive from the pier will take you to the exclusive residence of Villa de la Cruz, where your shrimp fest will begin. The backdrop of the Sierra Madre mountain range, the ocean, city and ships harbor will set the mood for your afternoon. Gracing the mountainside of Cerro de la Cruz, this lush private residence will be the setting for an afternoon of world-famous shrimp and Mexican hospitality. Enjoy a buffet of freshly-caught shrimp prepared in three different styles: peel-your-own, beer-batter fried shrimp and garlic shrimp along with traditional taquitos, while refreshing yourself and listening to live music. Chips, salsa and guacamole will also be served along with an open bar of margarita’s and Mazatlan’s very own Pacifico beer. You can either return to your ship or be dropped off at the historical downtown district of Mazatlan and return to the ship on your own. This unique dolphin experience allows small children, ages four to eight, to get closer to dolphins than they ever dreamed possible. The program starts with a poolside introduction to a family of dolphins. Children can touch and interact with them in a hands-on session led by an experienced dolphin trainer on a shallow shelf in a specially designed maternity pool. A special feature of the Dolphin Kids program is that the youngest members of the dolphin adventure family participate alongside their mothers in this very unique family experience. Everyone will receive a friendly dolphin kiss and have a chance to pet and hug the dolphins. Parents may accompany their children to the dolphin center by paying for an observer ticket, but will not participate in the water with the dolphins. Note: Participants must be between 4 and 8 years of age. This is a Dolphin Kids Encounter program. Parents must buy an observer ticket, but cannot participate in the water with the dolphins. Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make a connection with these truly remarkable creatures. You’ll have an opportunity to talk, touch, play and swim with gentle and exquisite bottlenose dolphins. Your swim experience begins with a brief presentation on dolphin characteristics, how to use hand signals and positive reinforcement to communicate with your dolphin and various safety guidelines. Next, your group of no more than eight participants will head to the Dolphin Lagoon where you’ll wade into the shallow, clear waters to begin your exclusive dolphin experience. You'll meet and play with a dolphin for 30 minutes, getting to know each other through hugs, kisses, rubdowns and ultimately, an exciting belly ride. The duration of the program is approximately 60 minutes, including orientation. After your dolphin swim, enjoy complimentary lunch at the dolphin marina and some free time to purchase memories of your experience with the dolphins.
