Enjoy all that San Francisco has to offer including sightseeing, museums, shopping, and restaurants as this narrated tour allows you to hop-on or hop-off throughout the day at 20 of the city’s most popular sites. Half of the buses feature live commentary by an English speaking guide, the other half offer an audio tour in 10 different languages. Frequency of the buses is every 10 minutes in the summer and every 20 minutes in the winter.
Highlights include Fisherman’s Wharf, North Beach, Little Italy, Embarcadero and Union Square. The Civic Center includes the architectural masterpieces of City Hall, Asian Art Museum, Central Library, Symphony Hall and the Opera House. Enjoy Alamo Square with its Victorian row houses and Haight-Ashbury, once the epicenter of the 1960’s hippy culture. Your stop at Golden Gate Park includes the California Academy of Sciences, Japanese Tea Garden, De Young Museum, and Botanical Gardens. Crossing the iconic Golden Gate Bridge return to the city center via Presidio Park, with stops at the Palace of Fine Arts, Lombard Street, Union Square North, Chinatown, and Steuart Street. The tour ends at the ship’s pier.

Immerse yourself in the magic of Chiapas’s natural environments as you head off the beaten path to explore beautiful mangrove streams and lagoons. After being greeted by your boat captain, just sit back, relax and enjoy the spectacular views surrounding as you navigate through the waterways. Experience the wildlife, especially the region’s diverse array of birds, that appear along the way. Your guide will share information about the area’s eco-system and point out various species of flora and fauna. You may see pelicans, herons, ospreys, cormorants, hummingbirds, egrets, spoonbills, storks, turtles and much more. This nature reserve also provides a way of life to the local fishermen who use the same methods of catching shrimp and crab. You might have the opportunity to watch them at work as you float towards the end of your exotic journey. Note: Guests should wear a hat and comfortable shoes. Your day begins with a scenic drive to Palmares County. Along the way, a knowledgeable guide will provide you with fascinating information regarding Costa Rica's culture and history and give you the chance to ask questions. Once in Palmares, you’ll see Costa Rica’s most fascinating churches, and will have the opportunity to visit them and learn of their uniqueness. Your next stop will be Doka Estate, located at an altitude of 4,500 feet above sea level. This beautiful estate and coffee plantation was declared a historical and architectural heritage site by the Costa Rican Government. Your guide will relay the magic of coffee from seed to cup. Enjoy a typical buffet at La Cajuela restaurant surrounded by beautiful gardens with mountain views. You’ll have free time to visit souvenir shops and take home some special coffee products. Your last stop will be La Garita, a magnificent botanical garden featuring a learning greenhouse, flower showroom and a bird area of scarlet macaws, blue and gold macaws and cockatoos. You’ll learn to melt metals, laminar, make rings and the welding position. Work on a .925 sterling silver jewelry piece to make a single ring, a pendant, pair of earrings or bracelet chain. Your guide will comment on the history of making Colombian emeralds with a video showing the most important mines and how they are extracted and carved. Note: This tour is designed for those with minimum skills but much interest in learning about easy jewelry making techniques. Voyage into Behm Canal, surrounded by the pristine beauty of Misty Fjords. Stop to view a bald eagle’s nest, and a Tlingit pictograph. Admire New Eddystone Rock, an immense volcanic spire rising from the sea. You’ll explore Rudyerd Bay, an ice-carved masterpiece deep within the Monument. Learn the natural history of the fjords while gliding quietly beneath 3,000-foot vertical cliffs. Feel the mist of glistening waterfalls and listen to the call of seabirds nesting on a rock face sculpted by glacial forces. Your experienced sailboat crew will greet you with fruit, sweet rolls, coffee and juice, while you are given a short safety briefing and information about the marine life you may encounter. Start your sail in the direction the wind is blowing, your itinerary will take you on the best course depending on the conditions of the day. Relax, feel the breeze and enjoy sailing! We’ll drop the anchor in the afternoon for a refreshing swim or some snorkeling. Enjoy a delicious lunch and complimentary drinks on board before we hoist the sails to return to Puerto Vallarta. Step into an authentic ceremonial clan house and immerse yourself in stories that describe the lifestyle and rituals practiced by the original inhabitants of the northwest coast. While visiting Totem Bight State Park, enjoy a short stop at the Alaska Totem Trading Store, a quaint museum and gift store. On your way back to town, learn about the industries that helped build Ketchikan and the several canneries that helped make this town the 'Salmon Capital of the World.' You may combine 'Totem Bight State Park' and 'The Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show' tours for a great day in Ketchikan. Note: Order of tour may vary. Journey to the spectacular Chilkat Eagle Preserve home to the world's largest concentration of Bald Eagles. Explore North America's deepest fjord on your voyage to the beautiful port of Haines. Your journey continues along the National Scenic Byway through the awe-inspiring Chilkat Valley to the preserve. After a riverside picnic, you’ll board 18-foot inflatable rafts to enjoy a peaceful float (no whitewater) down the river through the very heart of the preserve. Watch for eagles, bears, moose, and even wolves, drawn here by the spawning salmon. 7,000 foot tall peaks tower above as you float past the ancient native village of Klukwan. This is an unforgettable adventure into the grandeur of Alaska!

This combination excursion gives you the opportunity to ride a historical train that has been in service for more than 50 years and participate on a scenic ride through rural countryside and tropical fields. Afterwards, board your motorcoach en route to the Tarcoles River where you’ll go on a boat and explore the spectacular natural scenery this river has to offer. The river and mangroves attract many types of bird wildlife such as toucans, spoonbills, herons, egrets, jacanas, pelicans, scarlet macaws, iguanas and crocodiles. Upon your return enjoy some live marimba melodies and enjoy a delicious buffet of seasonal fruits and tropical refreshments. Enough time will be provided to select crafts made by local artisans before returning to your ship. Note: This excursion might operate in reverse order. Please wear casual clothing, comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and bring a camera and raingear. Wildlife sightings while common cannot be guaranteed. Advance notice is needed for guests in wheelchairs; motorized scooters cannot be handled, only foldable wheelchairs. The type of walking required is along even roads and compact gravel trails.
