From your antique narrow-gauge car view incredible scenery as your tour guide shares stories and the history of the Klondike Gold Rush. Board a motorcoach to travel the spectacular Klondike Highway taking in the sights of Tormented Valley and Pitchfork Falls. At the foot of the pass, nestled next to a waterfall, rests Liarsville Gold Rush Trail Camp and Salmon Bake. Here a cast of sourdoughs and dance hall girls will entertain you with a hilarious melodrama and a poem. Enjoy a barbeque of freshly grilled Alaskan salmon, baked beans, potatoes, coleslaw, sourdough rolls, coffee, lemonade and hot apple strudel. Wander over to camp to see the waterfall and have your picture taken with one of the dance hall girls or the camp mascot, a lovable husky. The grand finale is a visit to the Red Onion Saloon in historic downtown Skagway. The Red Onions’ madams will throw you a private party in the prestigious Red Onion Brothel. A narrated motorcoach ride takes you to view and photograph the famous Mendenhall Glacier. At the Visitor Center you’ll have the opportunity to talk with Forest Service interpreters, and through interactive exhibits, learn about the awesome force of glacial ice. Back aboard the motorcoach you’ll take the scenic route through the Mendenhall Valley. At Auke Bay you’ll board a water jet powered catamaran specially designed for wildlife viewing. Relax in the warm, comfortable, spacious main cabin, surrounded by large windows as your experienced Captain guides you through the island studded waters of Stephens Passage. This excursion combines the charm of both old and new Mexico. Begin with a drive through the Marina Vallarta area and a stop at the small village’s local church. Continue to Hacienda Dona Engracia, one of the finest tequila factories in the area for a first-hand look at the manufacturing process of tequila and some free time to explore the grounds of this working hacienda. A short shopping stop will be made on the way into the center of Puerto Vallarta where you can walk along the popular Malecon, visit the Cathedral of our Lady of Guadalupe and see Old Town City Hall, while taking in fantastic views of the waterfront and the charm of the cobblestone streets. Would you like to enjoy a day of authentic Mexican fun? At Hacienda Dona Engracia we have a real Mexican Fiesta planned for you, with colors, displays, contests and more. Upon arrival enjoy a guided tour of the hacienda and tequila factory, with free tequila samples. During lunch you’ll be entertained with music, displays of dancing horses, traditional Mexican folkloric ballet and of course, typical Mexican food. After the party there will be time for some contests, prizes and fun. Then you’ll head to the downtown area for a city tour and some shopping in the heart of Puerto Vallarta. Passing through the charming downtown area you’ll see the famous waterfront Malecon, the ever popular statues and the beautiful Our Lady of Guadalupe Cathedral before you head back to your ship. Relax on board a modern catamaran as you cruise south of Puerto Vallarta following the spectacular tropical coastline of Banderas Bay. Your journey takes you past some of the most picturesque scenery in Vallarta, where dolphins and humpback whales are often sighted during the winter months. The morning is spent at the tranquil cove of Majahuitas, an unspoiled area of natural beauty on the southern coast of Banderas Bay. Only accessible by sea, Majahuitas offers ideal conditions for swimming, snorkeling and kayaking. After lunch aboard your catamaran, head off to Yelapa, an old charming Mexican fishing village set in it's own natural bay. Long a famous day trip from Puerto Vallarta, Yelapa has become a must on most tourist's lists, but since there are no roads in, this tropical paradise is only accessible by boat. The tiny village is a true escape from civilization. If you love the outdoors and want to spend time exploring nature, this idyllic spot is perfect for you. Hike through the jungle to the waterfall, swim in the cove's protected waters, or just relax on the expansive beach. As you cruise back to Puerto Vallarta, the on board fiesta wraps up a day full of fun-in-the-sun with an open bar, dancing, music and entertainment provided by the friendly crew. Note: Snorkel and kayak equipment are provided, minimum age for these activities is 8 years old. Bring your swimsuit, towel, hat, sunscreen and a light sweater or windbreaker. There is a 100-yard walk from pier to boat and a 500-yard optional hike up to the waterfalls. In Yelapa, walking is on uneven sandy surfaces with some rocky paths. less

The Cape region is indeed striking in appearance, from arid desert and white sand coves, to swaying palm trees and deep blue sea. Join your knowledgeable guide on a trip back in time. Your drive will take you north to admire the contrasting coastal scenery. Your destination is Todos Santos - which means 'all saints' - a small oasis village that sits peacefully next to the Pacific Ocean. Once there, you’ll have time to walk around the old Jesuit mission, explore the small shops, glance through one of the many art galleries and visit the famous Hotel California that inspired the Eagles back in 1969. Or just do as the locals do and sit in the town square and watch time go by. A snack and cool refreshment are included. Upon returning to Cabo San Lucas, you may stay in town on your own. Your adventure begins with a 75 minute journey through North America's deepest fjord aboard a high speed 26 passenger expedition boat. Watch for whales, seals, sea lions, and cascading waterfalls along the way to a remote beach at Glacier Point, one of the most beautiful places in Alaska.
After a short, adventurous drive across the forested glacial moraines, and a quarter mile walk, the forest suddenly opens to a breathtaking view of the glacier. The crystal blue ice tumbles from the jagged peaks into a pristine lake where 31 foot voyager canoes wait to take you to the very face of the glacier. Throughout your tour, expert guides share their extensive knowledge of this amazing area. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the beach amid fields of wild strawberries and iris tops before your return trip to Skagway.

Take a scenic drive to the tropical forest area of Bijagual, which is located near the boundaries of the Carara Biological Reserve. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to visit Pura Vida Botanical Gardens, one of the most spectacular private gardens in Costa Rica. See beautifully manicured gardens noticing that they are also bordered by one of the tallest waterfalls in the country. Pura Vida is home to over 60,000 flowering plants, including 60 varieties of heliconia, 10 varieties of ginger, and orchids. Look for butterflies, macaws, parrots, parakeets, toucans, kingfishers, birds of prey, and waterfowl. During the 1 1/2 hour guided walk along gravel trails, your guide will help you explore this incredible wonderland. Take in the ocean views in the distance as you meander through the walkways and see some wildlife. After the walk concludes, continue on for a few minutes to Villa Lapas Ecological Hotel, where fresh tropical fruits will replenish your energy. Then browse the gift shop for souvenirs before heading back to your ship. Weather permitting, a quick stop will also made at the Tarcoles River for crocodile observation. Join professional mountaineering guides for a three-hour trek through a glacial icescape. A scenic helicopter flight will take you to your trekking site. No experience is necessary, as guides will teach you the proper use of the mountaineering gear so that the remote areas of the glacier can be accessed. All you need to bring is a camera, a willing attitude and an appetite for adventure. For the more adventurous, there is the Extended Helicopter Glacier Trek which includes three hours of hiking and climbing over the rugged terrain of a glacier. Your guide will teach you basic climbing techniques enabling you to safely climb and descend the ice walls and lead your group on an exploration of the glacier’s most pristine and remote areas.
Note: Participants must be at least 16 years of age and in good physical condition. Flight time is approximately 35 minutes. Wind/water-proof outerwear, boots, gloves, ice axe, gaiters, crampons, harness and helmet are provided. This tour is non-refundable. It’s a jungle out there - and we’ll guide you through it. Drive along the scenic coastal highway to Mismaloya, one of the most exciting jungle locations in the foothills of the mountains. This exotic tropical forest has been the set of several films, thanks to its dense vegetation and the absolute primal nature of the area. In this jungle paradise you’ll have plenty of time to explore the surroundings and take a swim in the natural pools formed by the river and guided walking tour. A Mexican lunch will be served under the palapa before you head back to town where you can either return to your ship or stay in town for some shopping before returning to your ship on your own.
