This tour is designed to take you as up close and personal as permitted with the whales and sea life as they explore their natural feeding grounds along the shores British Columbia’s rugged coastline. You’ll board a motorcoach for a short transfer over to the whale watching vessel departure point. The vessels are equipped with restrooms, and offer covered as well as open viewing locations. As you travel to the viewing location, be sure to enjoy the majesty of the coastline and mountains surrounding you. This area is a playground for many of the world’s wealthiest yacht owners, and multi-million dollar yachts can often be seen cruising through the waters. Note: Orcas are regularly seen, but not guaranteed. This tour is not recommended for pregnant women and people with back problems. less

River socks are available for rent at the falls. The rocks at the falls are slippery. Climbing the falls is optional and at your own risk. Participants who do not wish to climb the falls may enjoy the small beach at the base. The walk to the beach is on a slope with many stairs, therefore participants should be in reasonably good health. less

This innovative ‘Tranopy’ tour combines the in-depth forest view of an aerial tram with the excitement of a canopy tour. Your naturalist guide will accompany you to point out some of the secrets of the primary and secondary rainforest that surrounds you. Your Tranopy tour starts with a ride on the famous tram where you’ll experience all the different layers of the rainforest, from the floor up to the treetops. Silently glide through the colorful, complex beauty of the rainforest canopy. The 30-minute tram ride will bring you through the forest, over tumbling cascades and to the beginning of your canopy adventure. You’ll experience canopying though ten cables – five of which are over 200 meters long. To your right, you’ll find the dense rainforest, and to your left is an extensive view of the valley all the way to the Pacific Ocean. Over 1.5 kilometers of cables will take you through everything from the rich rainforest ecosystems to sweeping views high above the forest floor. From an antique parlor car enjoy the spectacular scenery while your tour guide shares the stories and history of the Klondike Gold Rush with you. Upon arrival in Fraser, British Columbia board your motorcoach for the short ride to Tutshi Canyon. Thrill to the roaring white-water rapids of the Tutshi River and canyon views as you cross the swaying Yukon Suspension Bridge on foot.
Visit the interpretive areas with lively graphic panels that reveal the natural and human history of the area. Tagish First Nation Staff and Elders are onsite and available to answer questions. There’s also a gift shop with authentic items and art from First Nations Communities. Board your motorcoach for the journey down the west side of the White Pass Canyon back to Skagway.
