Experience the infinite beauty of Alaska’s remote glaciers! A short drive brings you to the heliport where, following a safety video, you’ll be outfitted with boots and vests. Lift off from the historic Skagway waterfront and head into a rugged region of sheer mountains, majestic valleys and massive glaciers. Jagged peaks towering over the Chilkat Glacier, cascading waterfalls surrounding the Ferebee Glacier, or the spectacular “river of ice” known as the Meade Glacier, may be among the wonders you’ll encounter.

Upon arrival at glacial destination you’ll have the rare opportunity to explore one of Mother Nature’s greatest marvels. Enjoy a walking exploration of the river of ice, while experienced glacier guides answer your questions and explain the awesome forces at work.

Note: Flight routes and landing zones are selected daily based on the weather forecast to ensure that you will see the best sights that the area has to offer. Tour includes approximately 40 minutes of helicopter time and 40 minutes on the glacier. Glacier boots, trekking pole and safety vest are provided. Guests 250 lbs. and over are charged an additional rate to reserve two seats for safety and comfort. When you arrive at our authentic summer training camp for mushers and their sled dogs, you'll participate in a sled dog summer training run on our custom designed, wheeled summertime sled. Discover the power in a team of Alaskan huskies as they whisk your sled down a mile long trail through the depths of the Tongass National Rainforest! Then join one of our dog handlers and sled dogs for interactive demonstrations on mushing equipment and the impeccable care the dogs receive. Your dog handler will also entertain you with knowledge about the training, history, races, and inspiring efforts required by this sport. Marvel at the untamed beauty that has lured you to Alaska when you walk across our suspension bridge overlooking Fish Creek. Our Musher’s Camp is surrounded by moss-covered forest with huge spruce and hemlock trees. The views are simply awe-inspiring. Finally, cuddle up with our husky puppies, and take your picture with these adorable future athletes! During this unforgettable excursion you’ll learn about dolphins at the Interactive Learning Center. Once you arrive to Atlantis, watch an informative video and listen to a marine mammal specialist. Race alongside dolphins, cruise along the surface, or dive to the depths of the saltwater lagoon on your hand-held scooter, while you control your own speed! Explore this wide-open dolphin playground and enjoy Dolphin Cay’s signature ‘foot push,’ where dolphins propel you across the lagoon on a boogie board for a rush unlike any you’ve experienced. You’ll be provided with a snorkel and mask. You’ll also receive an Atlantis map, which will allow you to take a self-guided tour at your leisure of the Ruins Lagoon, a recreation of the sunken streets of mythical Atlantis and the Dig, a replica of an archaeological excavation site. Enjoy complimentary soft drinks while sunbathing at Dolphin’s Cay private beach. Note: Participants must be at least 10 years of age and a minimum height of 3 feet. This tour is not recommended for pregnant women. Wear comfortable shoes as there is a considerable amount of walking once at the resort. Guests must be able to swim in deep water without support vests or assistance. Wetsuits, personal lockers, beach towels and soft drinks are provided. Wetsuits are mandatory. This tour has access to Dolphin Cay private beach to sunbathe and watch the dolphins only; however swimming is not available. This tour is non-refundable. Dolphin Observer tickets are sold onboard only. The transportation for this tour is by bus, approximately 25-minutes each way depending on traffic conditions. Guests participating on an Atlantis Shore Excursion must arrive at the place and time stated on the Shore Excursion ticket. Atlantis tour tickets will not be honored at the resort. There is a considerable amount of walking on this tour (approximately 0.4 miles). To ensure availability, dolphin excursions must be booked no later than 24 hours prior to the port call. Your guide will show you the diverse regions and exotic beauty of Cozumel on this buggy tour with a snorkel excursion, beach break and optional shopping experience! Feel the wind through your hair as you drive your buggy along the stunning coastal road between the breathtaking blues of the Caribbean and the mysterious greens of a tropical jungle. Let loose on the white sands of our secluded beach located on the eastern shore. You can play games in the sun, take a refreshing dip in the sea or sit in the shade of an umbrella and enjoy the Mexican lunch provided. Then get in gear for a glimpse beneath the surface of the sea on an offshore snorkel experience where you can swim in the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean. Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age to snorkel and must be at least 21 years of age and provide a valid license to drive. There will be four guests per car. All cars are stick shift (manual). This tour is not recommended for pregnant women or those with back or neck problems. The snorkeling portion of the tour is prohibited to guests with asthma, cardiac problems, diabetes, and epilepsy or those under medications such as anti- depressants, lithium, beta blockers and base vein constrictors. Your colorful host will referee this rowdy competition and tell the tales of the often hostile work environment found in the Tongass Rainforest. These lovable rascals are comical, mischievous, playful and very friendly. Their inclination to engage in play and include humans in their games is what makes sea lion encounters so exhilarating. You’ll be standing waist-deep in the lagoon as you and the sea lion interact while doing various activities designed for maximum fun such as kisses, flipper shakes and even jumping over your head as you swim up to them. This is a unique and heartwarming experience which will never be forgotten.
