Enjoy a barbeque of freshly grilled Alaskan salmon, baked beans, potatoes, coleslaw, sourdough rolls, coffee, lemonade and hot apple strudel. Wander over to camp to see the waterfall and have your picture taken with one of the dance hall girls or the camp mascot, a lovable husky. The grand finale is a visit to the Red Onion Saloon in historic downtown Skagway. The Red Onions’ madams will throw you a private party in the prestigious Red Onion Brothel. Sip Alaskan Amber beer, wine, or Madam's punch as you’re entertained by tales of the girls who used to work in these historic rooms! You’ll see the priceless nickel silver dress worn by the Onion’s first madam and many other artifacts left behind.

Your flight begins as you take off from the downtown Ketchikan cruise ship docks. This bustling Alaskan community will quickly be revealed below, along with panoramic views of the Tongass National Forest. Your flight will include the historic importance of the De Havilland Beaver float plane and the landmarks below! After 30 minutes of spectacular scenery, you’ll land at the remote, yet rustic and elegant George Inlet Lodge. Snack on smoked salmon as you learn about the colorful George Inlet Lodge and its epic journey across 90 miles of ocean to its current location. Sip white wine or Alaskan amber beer as your host entertains you with stories and knowledge of Alaska, Ketchikan, and so much more. Your feast will consist of a fresh romaine salad topped with homemade oriental-style dressing, followed by steamed baby red potatoes and Dungeness crab. A steaming hot second helping of crab will be by shortly. Last but certainly not least indulge in rich, smooth cheesecake smothered in Alaskan blueberries. A quick visit to the George Inlet Lodge gift shop is a must before you depart. You’ll disembark on the second half of your journey enjoying a narrated coach ride along the coastline back to downtown. At the entrance of spectacular Rudyard Bay, your introduction to the Monument, see New Eddystone Rock, a striking remnant of early geological activity. An exhilarating water landing where you’ll have the opportunity to step out onto the floatplane pontoons in Misty Fjords, gives you the opportunity to experience the silence, serenity, and monumental beauty that surrounds you. Experience an authentic fishing excursion in the unspoiled wilderness of Alaska’s coastline. You’ll be outfitted with waterproof boots, bib overalls, hooded jacket, hat and gloves. Then, glide into a breathtaking landscape aboard a stable, custom, 19-foot skiff. Cast a line, and what you catch will become the fresh basis of a gourmet campsite meal! With only five guests per boat, your professional guide customizes the excursion to fit your interests and skill level. Along the way, you may view seals, eagles, whales, birds, porpoise, spawning salmon, and even bears. With quality fishing gear, hone your skills landing a variety of rockfish, cod, or Pacific halibut. After fishing, the skiff heads to a remote wilderness campsite, where a crackling fire awaits in the rain forest of ancient cedars and spruce. Here, you’ll enjoy a gourmet meal of your own freshly caught fish, served atop a saffron-infused, bouillabaisse-inspired stew (no shellfish). Savor sourdough rolls with garlic-aioli spread, a signature rhubarb and blueberry bread pudding, and steaming mugs of coffee or hot chocolate. You’ll leave having experienced the Alaskan way of life. Note: Participants must be at least 5 years of age, weigh at least 30 lbs. and no more than 300 lbs. and be physically active. We recommended that you wear warm, layered clothing.
