This city tour takes you to an unforgettable collection of beauty spots in and around Ocho Rios. First, you’ll visit the island's premier attraction, Dunn's River Falls. It is a place of unique beauty, where the river cascades over a giant limestone staircase to a white-sand beach and the warm Caribbean Sea. You may choose to climb the icy waterfalls with the aid of an experienced falls guide, just simply relax at the base of the waterfalls, or swim in the sea. Next, you’ll be taken on a guided stroll through the groves of trees and plants at the Shaw Park Botanical Gardens. The manicured grounds are beautified by a reflecting pond, gazebos and a natural waterfall. A final stop is made in the town for shopping before returning to your ship. Note: Order of stops may be changed to avoid crowds. The Dunn’s River Falls are the highlight of Jamaica and tend to be very congested. All guests participating in a tour that visits the falls should wear foot protection that can get wet. River socks are available for rent at the falls. The rocks at the falls are slippery. Climbing the falls is optional and at your own risk. Participants who do not wish to climb the falls may enjoy the small beach at the base. The walk to the beach is on a slope with many stairs, therefore participants should be in reasonably good health. less

Las Caletas was once the private home of the famous film director John Huston, who considered it one of the most beautiful places in the world. Today, Las Caletas is an exclusive tropical beach hideaway where you can enjoy an extraordinary day of sun, fun, and adventure. This lovely beach was named by Trip Advisor as one of the top 4 secluded beaches in the World for 2012. Only accessible by sea, this well-secluded nature preserve stands out against a steep, jungle-clad backdrop of tropical forest in an isolated cove on the southern shores of Banderas Bay. As you cruise towards this tropical paradise aboard a first-class catamaran, you'll enjoy the most fantastic coastal scenery that Puerto Vallarta has to offer. Once arriving at Las Caletas, you can choose between pure relaxation or gentle exploration in the unspoiled natural setting of this tropical beach hideaway. If relaxing is on your personal agenda, you can kick-back on the beach, relax in the shade on a comfortable hammock, or indulge in a therapeutic body massage or facial at the hilltop Spa (additional charge). Experience the thrill of taking off by floatplane with a veteran Alaska bush pilot on a unique wildlife expedition. The 20-minute flight takes you by historic homesteads and over the sparkling waters of Alaska’s fabled Inside Passage. View a landscape of forested mountains and pristine lakes on your way to the remote viewing location. Upon landing, you’ll be met by an Alaskan naturalist, and be driven approximately a mile by van along a forest road to the trailhead. A pleasant and short hike along an improved trail leads to a viewing platform overlooking a beautiful salmon spawning stream. In addition to black bears, Sitka black-tailed deer, bald eagles, mink, and marten also frequent the area. From the viewing platform, you’ll look down on stunning rapids as the fast-flowing creek cascades towards the sea and large numbers of salmon congregate. This is where black bears gather to feed on runs of pink, coho, and chum salmon as they head upstream to spawn. Bald eagles perch in the surrounding trees waiting for fish scraps left by the bears. Note: Flight time is 40 minutes with 1 1/4 hours at the platform (times are approximate). We recommend you wear comfortable footwear. Although ponchos are provided, rain gear is still recommended. This tour is fully narrated by the pilot, with supplemental information provided by a CD stereo sound system. This tour operates under a special use permit issued by the U.S. Forest Service. Bear watching tours operate during prime bear viewing months, usually late July through mid- September. Wildlife sightings are frequent, however they cannot be guaranteed. Save, learn, help, protect, enjoy and contribute. This tour is for anyone who wants to leave Cozumel a little better than how they found it. You will be led by the biologist’s team member who spearheads the Save the Endangered Sea Turtle Program. This is a hand’s on tour in that you will actually save the sea turtles. The Save a Sea Turtle Program has been one of Cozumel’s best kept secrets. The groundbreaking new conservation system has been adopted by many other state wide programs with the help from local volunteers. Cozumel boasts the most Sea Turtle nests per kilometer than any other area in Mexico by a 3 to 1 ratio. This increased volume of fertile ground has as much to do with the island’s history as it does with the Save a Turtle Program that had only been open to the local public and is now being open to a select few visitors so they, too, can witness this marvel of nature. There are several aspects to turtle protection & conservation. The portion that we will be permitted due to the hour of the day that your ship is in port is the “save a turtle” portion. Every evening the turtles hatch and make their way to the sea. This is a natural process, but in the frenzy of the nest only about 80% of the hatched turtles actually have the stamina and energy to climb out. You will help rescue the 20% of turtles (who were not ready for the dash to the sea from the previous evening) by digging them out and they will be kept until they are mature enough to be released. This process is extremely heartwarming and satisfactory as you will be directly involved in saving the life of the little turtle so it may have a true chance at life. Never have visitors been able to witness and participate in this truly remarkable event until now. Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age. This tour is not suitable for guests with physical disabilities or who use walking aids such as canes, walkers or wheelchairs. less
