Board your Zodiac, skippered by an experienced eco-guide. After a brief safety lecture and orientation, take an exhilarating ride to Land’s End, past Lover’s Beach, the sea lion colony and the famous arch. Your first snorkel site will be at Chileno Cove, approximately 20 minutes along the coast. After re-boarding your Zodiac, you’ll head over to Santa Maria Cove for your second snorkeling. The transparent waters at both coves team with colorful fish, including Moorish idols, puffers and Cortez angelfish. You’ll spend approximately 45 minutes at each site. After your snorkel experience, your Zodiac transports you back to the tender pier. Enjoy the incredible view heading back into the harbor with a view of your ship, Land's End and the coastline of Cabo. Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age and weigh no more than 250 lbs. The snorkeling sites may be altered due to weather and water conditions. This tour is not for pregnant women or guests with knee, neck, back or heart problems, as the ride can be rough. A signed waiver is required. If you would like to get the best view of all Mazatlan, you’ll find it at this magnificent lighthouse, 515-feet (157 m) above sea level. This is the highest natural working lighthouse in the world and at night, light can be seen more than 30 miles out at sea. Your invigorating day starts when you board your transport for a five-minute ride to the foot of El Creston hill, where the lighthouse is located. Soon after, your challenging hike will take you up the winding path to the world’s highest natural lighthouse. If you are a nature’s lover, don’t miss this opportunity to see iguanas, tropical birds, butterflies and some exotic varieties of cactus and flowers along the way. Arriving at the top, your reward is the stunning view, which includes the Pacific Ocean, your ship by the harbor below and miles of Mexican coastline to the south and north. You’ll have 25 minutes to relax, have a drink and take photos. Pass by the Historical Center before on the way back to your ship. Note: Participants must be at least 10 years of age. Board your guided air-conditioned transportation and pass through Puntarenas and its surrounding mangroves. Then, proceed southward along the coast past the port of Caldera and small fishing villages, such as Mata de Limon. Next, head inland into the coastal range of mountains passing by small farming communities such as Tivies and Ceiba. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to see typical Costa Rican rural life. Along the way, you may encounter different species of birds as well as sugar cane, bananas, coffee, mangos and other crops that are often exported to North America and Europe. Continue traveling south until you reach Tarcoles River, where sightings of very large crocodiles can frequently be seen. This is where your Canopy Tour adventure will begin. Upon arrival to the canopy tour reception, you’ll get geared up with the necessary equipment and briefed on safety instructions. You’ll be guided on a 15 to 20 minute walk through the tropical transition forest to the beginning of the tour. Once here, you’ll proceed to the first horizontal traverse cable. The Original Canopy tour consists of nine observation platforms, and eight horizontal traverse cables connected between the immense trees of this tropical paradise. Your journey through the trees will take approximately one hour. Here, you may see deer, monkeys and a variety of birds including the endangered scarlet macaw, orchids, bromeliads and mahogany trees. At the end of the tour you'll receive a complimentary bottle of water. Other beverages and souvenirs will be available for purchase once back at the reception area. After a few minutes of relaxation, you’ll board your bus for the return journey to the pier. Note: Participants must be at least 5 years of age and weigh no more than 275 lbs. Although wildlife sightseeing are common, they are not guaranteed. This tour is not recommended for pregnant women or for guests with seizure disorders, heart, back, neck or balance problems. A winding nature trail - through lush jungle in the heart of the spectacular Cranbrook Flower Forest - leads to the start of this unforgettable Canopy Tour adventure. After instruction from extensively trained guides, you’ll take a short nature walk to the first platform nestled on the hillside overlooking the treetops and jungle ‘canopy’. You begin your tour by soaring through the trees using an intricate system of harnesses, pulleys and carabineers on horizontal traverses, while gazing at the surrounding jungle until you arrive at the next cliffside platform, 45 feet above the ground. A series of traverses ranging from 105 feet to 660 feet in length will have you swinging through the Laughlands River Gorge, a giant valley carved from the surrounding mountain by ancient waters (a sparkling river still flows through it). From your bird’s eye view, you’ll survey the flora and fauna of this magnificent landscape, all while listening to the gentle sounds of nature. At different points in the tour, you’ll even get a glimpse of the miles-away Caribbean Sea and learn interesting facts about the surrounding tree and plant life from our well-informed guides. After leaving the valley, you really fly, embarking on a series of long throws - with the last traverse being 600 feet long. Here, after removing your equipment, you unwind from your exhilarating adventure with a walk through the flowering trees of Cranbrook before being transferred back to the cruise ship pier via Chukka Cove Farm. Board a high speed vessel for a Gastineau Channel crossing passing Mayflower Island and Suicide Falls, with a beach landing at the remote Treadwell mine site on Douglas Island, with direct access to the forest outfitting base camp. Your professionally trained guides will outfit you with state of the art safety equipment and provide a detailed safety briefing, before transporting in a 4 x 4 Unimog all-terrain vehicle up the densely forested hillside to the first zip line tree platform. This is your introduction to nearly a mile of high tension cables linking a network of platforms mounted high in carefully selected old growth spruce trees. Your guides will progressively ease you into the forest canopy. Cross aerial suspension bridges, with breathtaking views of spectacular Bullion Creek, and enjoy towering views of Juneau from the tree tops. Discover hidden ruins of the historic Treadwell Mine (1881-1917), once one of the world’s largest gold mines and zip over a 150 foot deep “glory hole”. You'll have an opportunity to explore the ruins of the original mine refinery, where millions of dollars of molten gold was poured into ingot molds. The last zip line transports you to the base camp, where each participant receives a light snack and is presented with a custom cast Alaska Canopy Adventures medal, in recognition of their achievement. An informative narration is provided on the channel crossing. Throughout this nature based adventure you will be surrounded by the sights and sounds of Alaska’s rainforest. Estimated at over 5 million years old, the Green Grotto Caves is the first historic cave worldwide to receive the Green Globe 21 certification, a global affiliation working with travel and tourism companies and communities to develop and maintain good environmental practices. The caves are characterized by coastal limestone and feature a series of interconnected passageways and chambers, light holes, stalactites and stalagmites, as well as two lakes. Their most striking features are rock formations and the small 'grotto' lake at the innermost cavern. Take a 3/4-mile guided stroll through a maze of exquisite dripstone formations and learn about the sensitive eco-system found within and around the caves. See limestone formations that have been christened after the individuals they resemble, including Abraham Lincoln, Freddie Krueger and the cartoon character, Scooby Doo among others. Your guide will demonstrate the cave’s musical stones and be sure to toss a coin in the wishing well before your departure. A refreshing beverage is provided at the end of the tour. On the return drive to Ocho Rios, you’ll visit Dunn’s River Falls. Climb the spectacular 600-foot waterfall at Dunn’s River Falls and then shop for souvenirs in the center of town before returning to your ship. Note: Participants must be at least 4 years of age and be at least 3 feet tall to climb the falls. This is a walking tour and visitors will be guided through areas that are paved, with uneven surfaces, gravel and rocks. Visitors need to be sure footed and must be able to bend to negotiate small access ways. Slippery when wet caution signs are posted through the caves as a reminder to visitors. There are 62 steps throughout the tour. All visitors are fitted with a sanitary helmet liner and hard helmet and offered a spray of mosquito repellent prior to the start of the tour. The Dunn’s River Falls are the highlight of Jamaica and tend to be very congested. All guests participating in a tour that visits the falls should wear foot protection that can get wet. River socks are available for rent at the falls. The rocks at the falls are slippery. Climbing the falls is optional and at your own risk. Participants who do not wish to climb the falls may enjoy the small beach at the base. The walk to the beach is on a slope with many stairs, therefore participants should be in reasonably good health. less

This program includes a video orientation and a trainer talk, complimentary wet suit, natural fruit, infused water, personal locker, towels, beach service, and all-day access to Dolphin Cay’s private beach. Wetsuits are mandatory at Dolphin Cay. Due to the amount of walking, numerous steps and inclines, the Aquaventure tour is not recommended for the physically challenged guests or pregnant women. Sandals or ‘aqua socks’ are strongly recommended for children of all ages. Non-motorized water sports are available for rent. Guests should bring a credit card for drink and food purchases. This tour is non-refundable. The duration of this tour includes transportation to and from the pier by bus, approximately 25-minutes each way depending on traffic conditions. Guests participating on an Atlantis Shore Excursion must arrive at the place and time stated on the Shore Excursion ticket. Atlantis tour tickets will not be honored at the resort. This tour is not available on the N. Epic and N. Sun. The last transfer back to the ship will be one hour before sailing time. Board your air-conditioned transportation for the approximately 45-minute drive to the infamous mud volcano. On the way to the volcano, pass by the imposing San Felipe de Barajas Fortress situated outside the walled city. Here, you’ll have the opportunity enjoy a panoramic view of the old city. Upon arrival at the mud volcano an orientation to the rustic facilities will be provided. A mud volcano is created by natural gases emitted by decaying organic matter underground. As the mud is pushed upwards by the gas, it deposits and hardens above ground and forms what appears to be a huge anthill. As more mud oozes out and spills over the edge it grows in size, gradually forming what you can see today: a miniature 50-foot volcano with a rich, creamy, mud crater at the top. If you have never been in a mud volcano before, then the initial feeling of mud on your skin is unusual to say the least. When you feel like you are about to become one with the earth, just climb back down the staircase and stroll down to the nearby freshwater lake where you can wash the mud off. Note: The temperature of the mud is very warm to hot, therefore those who are susceptible to heat must not participate on this tour. It's said that the mud has healing properties; however the truth to this statement is not proven. To reach the top of the mud volcano where the pool of mud is located, requires the negotiation of numerous, steep steps. Wear a swimsuit and bring a towel and adequate sun protection. less

Your boat will pull up right at the pier where you and other participants will board. Wear your life jackets and get ready for the thrill of your life. As the boat motors out through the Cabo harbor and into the bay, you’ll be fitted with a harness and then one at a time, you’ll sit down on the back of the boat, it’s simple and easy… the boat does the rest! You’ll soar up to 600 feet depending on the wind and water conditions. Tandem is possible depending on the combined weight of the participants and wind speed at the moment. Take your camera up with you and create aerial memories to show your friends and prove that you really did it! Get a bird’s eye view of Land’s End. Return to your starting point dry and sitting down on the back of the boat. Actual flight time is approximately 10 minutes each.

This fully guided wilderness hike begins with a brief 20 minute train ride aboard the Historic White Pass and Yukon Route Railway. You’ll ride through the wilderness to the Denver Valley trailhead located in the Tongass National Forest. Your hiking guide will accompany you through the dense coastal rainforest filled with old-growth trees, moss beds, and other flora. On your 3 to 5 mile hike, the trail occasionally intersects with the raging Skagway River and lookout points provide spectacular views of the Sawtooth Mountain Range.

The hike can be done as a casual stroll through the forest or as a more aggressive hike, depending on your preference. There’s plenty of opportunity for photography and there is potential for wildlife sightings. Bear, moose, and mountain goats all call this valley home. Guides will provide information about the region’s natural and gold rush history. Enjoy a refreshment before boarding the train for your return trip to town.

This tour offers an opportunity to enjoy the awesome natural beauty of the rainforest, uninhabited jungle rivers and caves once used by the ancient Mayans who inhabited this region. You'll depart your ship on a high-speed boat for the Sabun River. Once on the river, the boat will wind its way upstream along the jungle-covered banks, a sight directly from an Indiana Jones movie. After approximately 45 minutes, the boat will arrive at the Landings, a secluded farm located on a peninsula by the river. You'll have a short break to visit the farm and get familiarized with the 4 x 4 Land Rover which will take you on the next leg of your journey to the Mayan Groto Caves. The Land Rover, which is famous for jungle driving, is the perfect vehicle for the 50-minute drive through the lowlands and into the jungle mud trails. Once at the base camp, your guide will give you local knowledge as he leads your small group on a traverse over a foot suspension bridge across the river. After a short walk through the dense rainforest where many species of huge trees can be seen, you'll arrive at the beginning of the cave experience. The first cave tunnels through the mountain and emerges into a tropical bowl with cliffs on all sides. The Mayans used this location as a sanctuary with protective walls still evident. Within the bowl there are many caves to explore each with different stages of stalactite and stalagmite growth. After caving, you'll have an opportunity to swim in the cool river, relax, and have a snack before boarding a jungle truck for the return trip to Belize City. Join professional mountaineering guides for a three-hour trek through a glacial icescape. A scenic helicopter flight will take you to your trekking site. This ATV adventure takes you through Cozumel's jungle to ancient Mayan holy grounds. All equipment and a safety briefing will be provided before riding your single-person ATV. On this two-tank dive you’ll travel through deep submarine canyons just off San Lucas Bay and marvel at the rich marine environment on this adventure. Diving locations are just off the rocky shore and feature large boulders and pinnacles; the rocky walls attract schools of fish such as snapper and goatfish. The ledges are covered with marine invertebrates, starfish, nudibranchs and urchins. Look out for king and Cortez angelfish, Moorish idols and guinea fowl puffers. Note: Participants must be at least 4 years of age. Maximum weight allowed 350 lbs. Drivers must be at least 26 years of age to drive the boat and in good physical condition. Comfortable warm layered clothing is recommended. Groups of two and three will share a boat with another party. Groups of four will have their own boat. This tour is not recommended for people with any previous back or neck injuries or guests who are pregnant because the water may get choppy. The sea around the Azores is incredibly rich. This is probably the place in Europe with the most sea diversity, especially where cetaceans are concerned; whales and dolphins. The abundance of dolphins is amazing, they are everywhere in groups of variable size, travelling from one place to another, feeding or simply playing their never-ending social games. On a single trip you can find the common Atlantic spotted dolphin, the bottlenose, risso's dolphins and striped dolphins. The goal of this tour is to provide you with a rare learning experience about the dolphin's world, by fitting them into our research team of animal behavior. The observations allow us to learn how to proceed in order to protect the dolphins in their habitat. We respect animals by avoiding pressure or interference when they are feeding or resting. This voluntary attitude has been praised by many ecological and scientific organizations that consider the work a contribution to the better knowledge of the dolphins surrounding the islands of the Azores. Note: This tour takes place on a semi-rigid zodiac boat. Not recommended for guests with back problems and/or heart condition, those with physical disabilities or who are pregnant. While the existence of the cave complex near Horne Lake was no doubt known about for centuries by the island’s indigenous people, it was not mentioned in writing until 1912. As news of it spread outside the local community in the ensuing decades, increasing numbers of visitors, resulted in acts of vandalism and “souvenir gathering.” The caves gained protection and professional management when they were designated a Provincial Park in 1985. Meet your guide on the pier and drive for an hour north east along the coast to Horne Lake Provincial Park, voted BC's Best Natural Site. A gravel road leads you to the trail head, from where you'll hike about 1.5 miles / 2.4 km along a fairly steep trail to the cave entrance. Follow your guide down the narrow ladder and into the cave, where you’ll spend about 40 minutes exploring the Main Cave, with its beautiful crystal formations and numerous fossils. Once back on the surface, hike back to your van and drive to a spot above Horne Lake for a gourmet picnic of smoked wild salmon, local cheeses, crackers, olive/pickle platter and a Nanaimo dessert bar. Afterwards, return to Nanaimo, where you may elect to be dropped off downtown or return directly to the pier. Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age and weigh no more than 300 lbs. less
