Explore Misty Fjords - one of nature’s most spectacular creations - while cruising in luxury aboard one of the fastest sightseeing vessels in Alaska. Enjoy the service and narrative provided by your crew, and watch for wildlife as the water jet-powered catamaran "flies" at sea level past rugged coastlines. Voyage into Behm Canal, surrounded by the pristine beauty of Misty Fjords. Stop to view a bald eagle’s nest, and a Tlingit pictograph. Admire New Eddystone Rock, an immense volcanic spire rising from the sea. You’ll explore Rudyerd Bay, an ice-carved masterpiece deep within the Monument. Learn the natural history of the fjords while gliding quietly beneath 3,000-foot vertical cliffs. Feel the mist of glistening waterfalls and listen to the call of seabirds nesting on a rock face sculpted by glacial forces. Enjoy a selection of complimentary snacks and beverages while watching for other species of wildlife that thrive here. En route to Ketchikan, you’ll have the opportunity to experience Native culture and history presented by a Tlingit storyteller, watch a native artist at work, or enjoy a tour-related video presentation. This excursion combines the charm of both old and new Mexico. Begin with a drive through the Marina Vallarta area and a stop at the small village’s local church. Continue to Hacienda Dona Engracia, one of the finest tequila factories in the area for a first-hand look at the manufacturing process of tequila and some free time to explore the grounds of this working hacienda. A short shopping stop will be made on the way into the center of Puerto Vallarta where you can walk along the popular Malecon, visit the Cathedral of our Lady of Guadalupe and see Old Town City Hall, while taking in fantastic views of the waterfront and the charm of the cobblestone streets. You may choose to stay in town on your own or return to your ship. Note: Short pants are not permitted in the cathedral. Tequila samples are only given to guests 21 and older. less

This exciting tour combines a “whales guaranteed” cruise with Alaska’s finest wilderness salmon bake. Following a motorcoach ride to scenic Auke Bay, you’ll board a waterjet-powered vessel specially designed for wildlife viewing. Relax in the warm, comfortable cabin, surrounded by large windows, as you ply the island studded waters of Stephens Passage. This area is world-renowned as a favored summer feeding ground for humpback whales. Once whales have been sighted, your skilled Captain will maneuver the vessel to allow exceptional viewing and photographic opportunities, as these graceful giants slowly arc their massive tail flukes into the air. Don’t forget your camera, and be sure to bring a warm jacket to wear on the topside observation deck. The whales are often close enough to hear them breathe! An onboard naturalist will explain the behavior and habitat of the humpback whale and other wildlife you may encounter, including killer whales, Steller sea lions, Dall's porpoise, harbor seals, bald eagles and more. Then take a leisurely break from cruising to step ashore at Orca Point Lodge on beautiful Colt Island, to enjoy a feast that includes fresh grilled wild Alaska salmon, chicken kabobs, corn on the cob, rice pilaf, cole slaw, fresh hot rolls and desserts. The lodge offers peaceful seclusion with modern comforts in a remote wilderness setting. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and take a stroll along the beach before reboarding the vessel for your return cruise to Auke Bay. Note: Dress warmly and bring a rainproof jacket to wear on the vessel observation deck and for enjoying the natural environment at Orca Point Lodge. This is an ideal opportunity for bird watchers and nature lovers to spend a day in absolute relaxation. In the tropical atmosphere of the Mexican Pacific Coast, one mile south of Mazatlan, is where your boat is ready for an estuary run to admire the natural beauty of four miles of mangroves. From your boat, you’ll see your ship, the 104-year-old Pacifico Brewery, the Mexican Navy Base and the shrimp and tuna fishing fleets along the harbor. Enjoy your guided cruise down mangrove and palm tree-lined waterways in Mexico’s largest estuary/wetland system. Explore the private world of the Mexican brown pelican, blue heron, sea hawk, osprey and other exotic water fowl in this protected wildlife refuge, the best place for nature lovers. Disembark and board your transportation for a ride through a peaceful area where a variety of fruit trees are grown and through a coconut plantation on the way to a typical beachfront restaurant to enjoy a delightful fish lunch and have time for a swim or just relax. On the way back to your ship, you’ll pass by a small traditional village and return directly from the island to the embarcadero. Don’t forget your camera! Hop on the Fun Bus for an open-air, open-sky view of Mazatlan. This roofless double-decker bus offers you a convenient way to discover this destination. Stop at key points for pictures; slow down at others so you get more than a passing glimpse. Pass by some highlights such as the cliff divers who soar from their towering perch into a tiny dot of water; the Glorieta Germania lookout point, and the 19th-century Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. This Cathedral is just one block from the public market in the heart of the downtown area. You’ll see colorful buildings from the Golden Age of European architecture in the Historic District. You can also appreciate the latest in modern design at the new Convention Center, largest of its kind in the world according to the Guinness Book of World Records. Enjoy a countryside drive along the coast to one of the most picturesque places in Jamaica, the 'Land of Wood and Water', for a unique Jamaican experience. See the lifestyles of rural and urban Jamaica en route to the Martha Brae rafting village. Upon arrival, and after you are greeted with a welcome tropical drink, stroll the beautiful lawns and visit the herb garden, which is a presentation of Jamaican herbs that are famous for their medicinal and healing properties, prior to embarkation. Picture yourself on a bamboo raft built for two, gliding slowly down a river that meanders gently through whispering groves of bamboo and ferns, as you listen to the chatter of birds and the soft chop-chop of the raftman’s pole. As your raft makes its way pass shaded banks and dappled sunlight, the raft Captain will tell you the legend of 'Matibereon' as the mild river breeze washes over you. Float along the river and relax in an atmosphere of tranquility on the three-mile journey before arriving at the Rafter’s Rest, where the bus awaits for the return trip to Ocho Rios. Note: Participants must not weigh more than 280 lbs. less

Take a journey into the heart of rural Chiapas for a deeper understanding of the local people and landscapes. Discover the culture that blends ancient traditions with modern necessity. Board your air-conditioned bus and travel through the Chiapas countryside to the Ejido Miguel Aleman banana farm. Your guide will acquaint you with the history of the region, its people and traditions, as well as the growing and collection process of the bananas. Then, travel into the town that owns and runs the banana co-op and visit the local community center or school; here, you’ll meet and mingle with the local children and the dedicated teachers and social workers. You’ll be able to donate a kit pack to one of the kids at the community center or local school. The kit pack contains some of their basic day to day needs. Continue to the Banana Packing Plant, where you’ll discover how the whole community works together to pack the bananas they all produce. On the way back, you will get a last glimpse of life in rural Chiapas before returning to the pier. Note: Guests should wear a hat and comfortable shoes. Bring eco-friendly sunscreen and bug repellent. Part of the proceeds of this tour will go to the community center learning program. Most areas are not wheelchair accessible. less

Upon arrival, your host will give you a quick orientation of the areas and facilities available to you. This tour includes an open national bar, beach volleyball, beach chairs, animated beach party, beach games for children, kayaks. A beautiful restaurant, a souvenir store and additional water sports are available at extra cost, plus there’s great snorkeling straight off the beach. This is a one stop beach destination. A regular shuttle service lets you choose how long you wish to stay. Note: Restrooms/changing room facilities and freshwater showers are available. We recommend that you bring insect repellent. less

Your day of discovery begins when you board you air conditioned transportation. You’ll pass by buildings and homes featuring Colonial, Republican and Moorish styles and your guide explains the many influences that came to be in Cartagena. Your first stop will be 'Punta Icacos', near the fishing village of La Boquilla. Here, you’ll be greeted by local fishermen who earn a living by traditional means of fishing. These fishermen will explain the process of making, repairing and casting the nets, as well as provide a demonstration. You’ll even have the opportunity to learn the art of throwing the net if you wish or you can also sip on fresh coconut milk or coconut water while you watch your companions cast the net. On your way back to Cartagena your guide will provide you with more information regarding Columbian history including the "Vallenato". The Vallenato is a traditional type of music typically using an accordion, flute and drum. Next, stop at Rancho Grande where you’ll be greeted and entertained by your own band of Vallenato. Sample a traditional Columbian snack or "frito" if you whish before making your way to the Emerald Museum. Here, you’ll see craftsmen at work as well as learn the history and cultural importance of the precious stone. Then, visit the famous walled or Old City and Portal de Dulce, an area where local vendors sell the handmade Columbian candies, famous around the world. Take a sweet sample before continuing your walk through the Plaza de la Aduana and Simon Bolivar Square. Along the way your guide will point out areas of interest as well as information on the many churches, building and monuments before you begin your free time in the colonial city. Feel free to stroll along the beautiful streets, browse the many shops and admire the beautiful architecture and flower covered balconies before returning to your ship. Note: Bring comfortable shoes and casual clothes. Wear sunscreen. Participants must be able to stand and walk unassisted as well as easily navigate narrow pathways. Huatulco is known for its picturesque bays and sun-drenched Oaxacan coastline. Embark in a comfortable motorized catamaran-style vessel for a relaxing cruise from the harbor to Tangolunda Bay. View the area's natural beauty and surrounding resorts before passing by unusual rock formations at Organo Bay. Here, a stop will be made for swimming, relaxing time and some refreshments. Your cruise will continue to the tranquil Maguey and Chahue Bay's; then, proceed to Santa Cruz Bay, with its beautiful beaches and see the impressive blowhole located nearby. Your guide will provide informative commentary throughout your bay cruise. Note: Participants must be in good health. Swimming is recommended for guests of 250 Lbs. or less. This comprehensive tour offers the highlights of Alaska's capital city including a visit to stunning Mendenhall Glacier. Board your deluxe coach and set off to explore a selection of Juneau's most memorable attractions in style as your driver/guide shares tales of Juneau's colorful past. Arrive at the Macaulay Salmon Hatchery and the staff will acquaint you with one of Alaska's most important species - the Pacific salmon. Be sure to check out the raceways with adolescent salmon and the various aquariums displaying the rich sea life of the region.
Next, travel to Glacier Gardens. Relax as a guide ushers you through the rain forest to the 800 foot level via motorized cart where you’ll have time to take in a canopy view of Gastineau Channel below and Douglas Island, Lynn Canal, Mendenhall Valley, and the Chilkat Mountains in the background. Your tour culminates with a visit to Mendenhall Glacier. The area offers several vantage points for viewing this stunning river of ice. Explore the visitor center to learn about this Ice Age wonder from the engaging exhibits and visiting with U.S. Forest Service staff.

Upon arrival to one of Mazatlan’s beachfront resorts, you’ll learn the art of making the best Mazaritas (Mazatlan Margaritas) in town and experience a hands-on cooking class. You’ll learn about spices and make a variety of sassy salsas while snacking on fresh cheese quesadillas and chicken taquitos. After your cooking lesson, get ready for some real fun! A salsa instructor will show you step by step, the moves and swings of the salsa. By the end of the tour you’ll be ready for the dance floor and armed with fantastic recipes. After the class you’ll have the choice to relax on the beach, enjoy one of the hotel’s pools, or shop at the stores of the Golden Zone, located at just a short stroll from the resort.
