Huatulco is known for its picturesque bays and sun-drenched Oaxacan coastline. Embark in a comfortable motorized catamaran-style vessel for a relaxing cruise from the harbor to Tangolunda Bay. View the area's natural beauty and surrounding resorts before passing by unusual rock formations at Organo Bay. Here, a stop will be made for swimming, relaxing time and some refreshments. Your cruise will continue to the tranquil Maguey and Chahue Bay's; then, proceed to Santa Cruz Bay, with its beautiful beaches and see the impressive blowhole located nearby. Your guide will provide informative commentary throughout your bay cruise. Note: Participants must be in good health. Swimming is recommended for guests of 250 Lbs. or less. The Bay of Banderas, a fantastic place to sail, has protected waters, moderate consistent winds, nice secluded coves to break the day, and lots of sea life. Your experienced sailboat crew will greet you with fruit, sweet rolls, coffee and juice, while you are given a short safety briefing and information about the marine life you may encounter. Start your sail in the direction the wind is blowing, your itinerary will take you on the best course depending on the conditions of the day. Relax, feel the breeze and enjoy sailing! We’ll drop the anchor in the afternoon for a refreshing swim or some snorkeling. Enjoy a delicious lunch and complimentary drinks on board before we hoist the sails to return to Puerto Vallarta. Take a short drive to the Dolphin Center at the Nuevo Vallarta Marina. After a brief presentation, head down the dock to a 14,500-square-foot holding pen and as you stand waist-deep in the water, you’ll be introduced to the beautiful Pacific bottlenose dolphin in a hands-on, up-close encounter for approximately 15 minutes. They are as curious about you as you are about them. Take full advantage of this unique opportunity to pet them gently and you’ll even receive a dolphin kiss. During your encounter you’ll also learn ways to ensure their preservation and foster the well-being of these amazing creatures. After your activity with the dolphins, enjoy a complimentary lunch at the dolphin marina and free time to purchase souvenirs or photos to remind you and your family of this incredible experience. Note: Participants must be at least 1 year old. Infants 1 to 3 years of age can join at no charge in the arms of a participating adult. Visit the Montserrat Children’ Home, an orphanage created in 1982 by Fray Casiano de Madrid. Here, you’ll be welcomed by one of the sisters and children. Your tour guide will serve as interpreter as you are given an explanation of the programs carried at the home. You’ll meet and partake with the children as you learn about their daily duties, games and programs. These children are brought up with good values and manners which can be applied to their future adult lives. The home was operated by a group of young ladies who later became the Congregation of Missionary Sisters of the Assumption. Today, they provide comprehensive care to dozens of children from the ages of one through 18 and aim to give them the best possible quality of life. Next, visit the orchid’s farm, located in the small village of Miramar. Here, you'll learn about the orchid’s habitat, their means of cultivation, blooming and how they are prepared for export. Your guide will acquaint you with the country’s history, politics and culture while you admire the northern countryside and landscape. Costa Rica is a blessed country with year-round spring weather, and the exuberance of its flora has given it the name of Garden of the Americas. Enjoy tropical fruits buffet and refreshments before heading back to your ship. Note: Tour sequence may vary, this is a donation tour. A guide will provide you with information on the general history of Cartagena and the sights. While cruising, take in a lovely view of Fort of Manzanillo located at the eastern entrance of the bay. Enjoy the sun and the cool tropical breezes as you forge ahead between the faraway island of Tierra Bomba and the Castillo Grande peninsula. Marvel at the age-old walled city of Cartagena and enjoy a refreshing drink as you get lost in the panoramic views of land and sea. Following, you’ll have a chance to enjoy a traditional folkloric show celebrating the history and culture of Cartagena. Note: There is a total walking distance of 150 yards. Enjoy a narrated city tour highlighting the history of Belize, from its founding by shipwrecked British sailors in 1683. Pass by St. John's Cathedral and other interesting sites. Just outside the city, under a Mayan thatched palapa longhouse, you’ll receive an orientation and safety briefing before boarding a 450-hp airboat. Travel to the beautiful Almond Hill Lagoon where you find the manatee grazing grounds. Upon reaching your destination, you’ll quietly drift, keeping a lookout for the docile manatees that utilize the area. Pass through Indian Creek onto the pristine marsh to see beautiful water lilies, many colors and varieties of wading birds, turtles and maybe even a crocodile. Note: Participants must be at least 5 years of age and weigh no more than 290 lbs. less

Your day of discovery begins when you board you air conditioned transportation. You’ll pass by buildings and homes featuring Colonial, Republican and Moorish styles and your guide explains the many influences that came to be in Cartagena. Your first stop will be 'Punta Icacos', near the fishing village of La Boquilla. Here, you’ll be greeted by local fishermen who earn a living by traditional means of fishing. These fishermen will explain the process of making, repairing and casting the nets, as well as provide a demonstration. You’ll even have the opportunity to learn the art of throwing the net if you wish or you can also sip on fresh coconut milk or coconut water while you watch your companions cast the net. On your way back to Cartagena your guide will provide you with more information regarding Columbian history including the "Vallenato". The Vallenato is a traditional type of music typically using an accordion, flute and drum. Next, stop at Rancho Grande where you’ll be greeted and entertained by your own band of Vallenato. Sample a traditional Columbian snack or "frito" if you whish before making your way to the Emerald Museum. Here, you’ll see craftsmen at work as well as learn the history and cultural importance of the precious stone. Then, visit the famous walled or Old City and Portal de Dulce, an area where local vendors sell the handmade Columbian candies, famous around the world. Take a sweet sample before continuing your walk through the Plaza de la Aduana and Simon Bolivar Square. Along the way your guide will point out areas of interest as well as information on the many churches, building and monuments before you begin your free time in the colonial city. Feel free to stroll along the beautiful streets, browse the many shops and admire the beautiful architecture and flower covered balconies before returning to your ship. Note: Bring comfortable shoes and casual clothes. Wear sunscreen. Participants must be able to stand and walk unassisted as well as easily navigate narrow pathways. Ride 40 miles round-trip in vintage rail cars as you retrace the original route to White Pass Summit passing Bridal Veil Falls, Inspiration Point and Dead Horse Gulch. This fully narrated tour features panoramic views of mountains, gorges, waterfalls, tunnels, trestles and historic sites. See the original Klondike Trail of '98 worn into the rocks, a tribute to the thousands that took this route to seek their fortune. The narrow gauge railroad is a designated International Historic Civil Engineering Landmark, shared with the Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty.

Once in Palmares, you’ll see Costa Rica’s most fascinating churches, and will have the opportunity to visit them and learn of their uniqueness. Your next stop will be Doka Estate, located at an altitude of 4,500 feet above sea level. This beautiful estate and coffee plantation was declared a historical and architectural heritage site by the Costa Rican Government. Your guide will relay the magic of coffee from seed to cup. Enjoy a typical buffet at La Cajuela restaurant surrounded by beautiful gardens with mountain views. You’ll have free time to visit souvenir shops and take home some special coffee products.
