It’s new, it’s big; and it's fun for the entire family. Come play at Aquaventure, the centerpiece of the Atlantis Resort’s recent billion-dollar development. Containing over twenty million gallons of water, this non-stop water experience consists of thrilling new water slides, a mile-long river ride with high intensity rapids, wave surges, and never-before-seen special effects. The excursion also includes access to the huge, open-air marine habitat where you can find over 50,000 fascinating sea creatures. Whether you prefer a thrilling ride through a shark-filled pool or a gentle float on a never-ending lagoon, you'll find it at Atlantis. Note: Participants ages 3 or younger receive free admission if accompanied by a participating paying adult (parent or guardian at least 18 years of age). There is a considerable amount of walking on this tour (approximately 0.4 miles). Participants must be at least 48" tall to ride the water slides. Lounge chairs, towels and life jackets are provided. Non-motorized water sports are available for rent. Guests should bring a credit card for drink and food purchases. The transportation for this tour is by bus, approximately 25-minutes each way depending on traffic conditions. Guests participating on an Atlantis Shore Excursion must arrive at the place and time stated on the Shore Excursion ticket. Atlantis tour tickets will not be honored at the resort. This tour is available for all ships except Norwegian Epic and Norwegian Sun. The last transfer back to the ship will be one hour before sailing time. Prices may vary by sail date. less

These coral formations are teaming with schools of colorful tropical fish. You’ll board your two-seater speed boat, which are a breeze to operate amidst the favorable conditions of the Caribbean Sea, in this cruise excursion. Then, receive a safety speech and all your snorkeling equipment, and learn how to maneuver your boat throughout the journey. Once your life vest is on, it is time to board your boat and glide out into the endless turquoise waters, get ready and blast off! Follow your guide as he takes you along the coastline and leads you to one of the most vibrant reefs in the area. Once you arrive at the reef you’ll enjoy 45 minutes of guided snorkeling along the reef edge amongst colorful fish and corals. Learn about lobsters, starfish, anemones abound from a PADI qualified guide, it’s an underwater paradise. Back at the beach your tour is still only beginning. Enjoy the remainder of your day taking full advantage of the Uvero Beach Club. Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age, weigh no more than 240 lbs. and be in good physical condition. The minimum age to drive the speedboats is 18 years of age. This tour is not suitable for pregnant women, persons with back or neck injuries. Strict health restrictions apply for snorkeling activity. Explore the secluded beaches of Mazatlan on a scenic and exciting ATV Adventure and then enjoy free time to relax on the beach. You’ll travel approximately 30 minutes by bus or van to Delfin Beach where your semi-automatic ATV will be waiting. Upon arrival, your guide will provide instructions and safety gear. Hop on your one-person ATV and travel caravan-style along the most beautiful, off-the-beaten-path beaches in Mazatlan. Stop along the way to take photos and enjoy the natural wonders that surround you. Ride for approximately 1½ hours, and then return to a beachfront restaurant. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to prepare your own quesadilla on site which is made with handmade corn tortillas and enjoy refreshing soft drinks before returning to the ship. This tour is perfect for both the beginner as well as the more advanced off-road rider. Note: Participants must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and weigh less than 290 lbs. Due to rough terrain this tour is not for pregnant women, guests with heart or respiratory conditions, back or neck injuries. Participants should wear long shorts or pants and closed-toe shoes; bring a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Wear your swimsuit under your clothes and bring a towel if you wish to swim. A 37-mile drive along the Western Highway brings you to the Caves Branch River and its winding path, through the Maya Mountains and numerous ancient caves once inhabited by the Maya. Upon arrival at Caves Branch National Park, your headquarters for the day, your guide will issue floats and headlamps while providing a tour briefing. You’ll take a 45-minute hike down a jungle trail where your guide will point out various plants, roots and herbs once used by the ancient Maya for medicinal purposes. Next, reach the entrance tunnel that heads into the underground cave system for the start of an eye-opening adventure. Then, float with gentle currents through the cave system. Enjoy intricate crystalline formations that line the caves, and the majestic rise and fall of stalagmites and stalactites that add to the serene opulence of nature. On several occasions, you’ll emerge into the sunlight, only to enter into another cave system. Finally, your tubing tour will end where the hike began. You’ll return your equipment and head back to Belize City and the ship. On your way back to the docks a stop will be made for lunch. Note: Participants must be at least 10 years of age and able to swim. The cave system and its waterways may cause claustrophobia in a very small percentage of guests. After a short stroll, you’ll board your catamaran, which features a shaded lounge and spacious deck, for a cruise through historic Nassau Harbor en route to one of two spectacular reefs. Here, you’ll see natural coral reefs teaming with the ocean’s wildlife on a snorkel adventure. During your sail, you’ll receive your snorkel gear and instructions from the knowledgeable crew, who will accompany you into the water to ensure your safety and enjoyment. Unlimited rum punch is offered after snorkeling, and a full premium cash bar is available at an additional cost. Note: Participants must be at least 7 years of age to snorkel and in good physical condition. Parental discretion is needed for children under 7 to participate. Snorkeling takes place at a reef with a depth of approximately 5 to 15 feet. Swimming is not a requirement but it’s recommended. Participants are required to wear life vests at all times. Relax during your short drive to the world-famous Dunn’s River Falls where you’ll climb 600 feet of cool refreshing water as it cascades over natural limestone terraces. Guides are provided to assist you when ascending the rushing waters as they plunge directly into the pristine Caribbean Sea. After this invigorating experience, you’re transported to Dolphin Cove where you are met by friendly hostesses and given a complimentary fruit drink. This unique cove surrounded by lush tropical jungle, is home to our beautiful family of bottlenose dolphins, exotic birds, snakes and iguanas. There you’ll participate in a brief orientation and then enter the world of nature’s most fascinating creatures - the dolphins. Get to know the animals as you interact with them in deep water. Experience the thrill of 'riding' the dolphin belly to belly. Dance, sing, play and even enjoy a kiss or two. After enjoying this unique experience, spend the rest of the day at Dolphin Cove and all that it has to offer. At the conclusion of your tour you’ll have the option of being dropped-off at a local shopping plaza for shopping time at your leisure and then make your own way back to your ship. Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age. Participants must weigh no more than 250 lbs. Shuttle buses are available at 10-minute intervals to return you to your ship. The Dunn’s River Falls are the highlight of Jamaica and tend to be very congested. All guests participating in a tour that visits the falls should wear foot protection that can get wet. River socks are available for rent at the falls. The rocks at the falls are slippery. Climbing the falls is optional and at your own risk. Participants who do not wish to climb the falls may enjoy the small beach at the base. The walk to the beach is on a slope with many stairs, therefore participants should be in reasonably good health. less

After a safety briefing, head for famed Lover’s Beach, past the sea lion colony and towering rock formations of Land’s End toward Santa Maria Cove. Anchor at a palm-studded tropical cove where the reefs are teeming with colorful tropical fish and you’ll have approximately 1 1/4 hours to snorkel in the tranquil waters alongside the boat. Snorkeling instructions are provided upon request. After your swim, you’ll be treated to your choice of soda, beer or a Mexican cocktail. Open bar is available throughout the cruise, after the snorkel portion of the tour. On the return trip, relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery.
