Take a journey into the Sierra Madre Mountains of Chiapas. Your professional guides will provide in-depth information about the history of the area, the people of Chiapas and the intense work put into creating the perfect cup of coffee. Upon arrival, you’ll be given a complimentary drink along with a safety briefing before your hiking adventure. Follow your guide through a slow paced walk while observing different kinds of exotic flowers, small fauna and the forest that surrounds you. Also, enjoy a scenic view of the Tacana Volcano which marks the border between Mexico and Guatemala. After your hiking journey, enjoy a snack, taste some coffee or shop at the local stores before returning to your ship. Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age. Your adventure begins with a 75 minute journey through North America's deepest fjord aboard a high speed 26 passenger expedition boat. Watch for whales, seals, sea lions, and cascading waterfalls along the way to a remote beach at Glacier Point, one of the most beautiful places in Alaska.

After a short, adventurous drive across the forested glacial moraines, and a quarter mile walk, the forest suddenly opens to a breathtaking view of the glacier. The crystal blue ice tumbles from the jagged peaks into a pristine lake where 31 foot voyager canoes wait to take you to the very face of the glacier. Throughout your tour, expert guides share their extensive knowledge of this amazing area. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the beach amid fields of wild strawberries and iris tops before your return trip to Skagway.

Your river tubing adventure begins at the 17th century landmark, “Spanish Bridge”. As you get ready to journey down the cool waters of the White River, you will receive a safety briefing from our experienced River Guides, who will also outfit you with all necessary equipment for your journey ahead. This refreshing ride down the White River not only gives you the rich history of Jamaica; it also shows you the beauty of our land as you pass through coconut plantations, bamboo groves and along river banks filled with indigenous flora and fauna. The real adventure lies on the white river as you enjoy her many moods, which will bring you to challenging rapids and enchanting lagoons. As you disembark the River back at the White River Valley property you will have a garden paradise to enjoy. Visit the property’s facilities nestled within the architecture of a traditional Jamaican village. Be sure to stop by the Parrot Bar and Grill to indulge in some of our traditional Jamaican Jerk cuisine, refresh yourself with a cool drink, and browse the Valley Trader gift shop before leaving for Dunn's River Falls. Dunn's River cascades its splendor 600 feet down the Jamaican Mountainside to the Caribbean Sea below. Be adventurous and climb the falls with the assistance of an experienced guide. Or, if you prefer, relax in one of the many pools at the base of the waterfall, swim out in the blue Caribbean Sea and let the salty water soak your cares away; or bask in the sun on the white sand beach before returning to your cruise ship. Note: Participants must be at least 6 years of age and weigh no more than 265 lbs. Not recommended for guests with back or neck injuries or pregnant women. Take a scenic drive to the tropical forest area of Bijagual, which is located near the boundaries of the Carara Biological Reserve. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to visit Pura Vida Botanical Gardens, one of the most spectacular private gardens in Costa Rica. See beautifully manicured gardens noticing that they are also bordered by one of the tallest waterfalls in the country. Pura Vida is home to over 60,000 flowering plants, including 60 varieties of heliconia, 10 varieties of ginger, and orchids. Look for butterflies, macaws, parrots, parakeets, toucans, kingfishers, birds of prey, and waterfowl. During the 1 1/2 hour guided walk along gravel trails, your guide will help you explore this incredible wonderland. Take in the ocean views in the distance as you meander through the walkways and see some wildlife. After the walk concludes, continue on for a few minutes to Villa Lapas Ecological Hotel, where fresh tropical fruits will replenish your energy. Then browse the gift shop for souvenirs before heading back to your ship. Weather permitting, a quick stop will also made at the Tarcoles River for crocodile observation. Note: Participants must be in good health. Those with severe walking or mobility issues should not participate, as there is required walking on gravel terrain with some inclines. Drive your own Jeep Wrangler® thru the town of Cozumel and around the island on a scenic road heading towards the beautiful Punta Sur Eco Park, Cozumel’s unique Ecological Reserve. Upon arrival you will visit El Caracol a Mayan ruin which in the past, was remarkably used as a weather alarm, located right next to a salt water crocodile observatory deck and tower, then continue to visit a 20th century lighthouse, which is still operational, featuring inside a Navigation Museum. Drive thru a secret path inside the tropical jungle before exiting to the secluded and unique beautiful pristine beach of Punta Sur. You will have leisure time to relax and sunbathe on the paradisiacal spot, discover the magnificent marine life on a guided snorkeling or swing on a hammock while enjoying the incomparable view of the Mexican Caribbean. Beach lounge chairs, showers, and a swimming pool will be available for you at no extra cost. Note: All vehicles are Radio Intercommunicated 4x4 Jeep Wranglers. Participants must be at least 21 years of age to drive with a valid driver's. Not recommended for Guests with back/neck injuries, recent surgery and/or pregnant women. Estimated at over 5 million years old, the Green Grotto Caves is the first historic cave worldwide to receive the Green Globe 21 certification, a global affiliation working with travel and tourism companies and communities to develop and maintain good environmental practices. The caves are characterized by coastal limestone and feature a series of interconnected passageways and chambers, light holes, stalactites and stalagmites, as well as two lakes. Their most striking features are rock formations and the small 'grotto' lake at the innermost cavern. Take a 3/4-mile guided stroll through a maze of exquisite dripstone formations and learn about the sensitive eco-system found within and around the caves. See limestone formations that have been christened after the individuals they resemble, including Abraham Lincoln, Freddie Krueger and the cartoon character, Scooby Doo among others. Your guide will demonstrate the cave’s musical stones and be sure to toss a coin in the wishing well before your departure. A refreshing beverage is provided at the end of the tour. On the return drive to Ocho Rios, you’ll visit Dunn’s River Falls. Climb the spectacular 600-foot waterfall at Dunn’s River Falls and then shop for souvenirs in the center of town before returning to your ship. Note: Participants must be at least 4 years of age and be at least 3 feet tall to climb the falls. This is a walking tour and visitors will be guided through areas that are paved, with uneven surfaces, gravel and rocks. Visitors need to be sure footed and must be able to bend to negotiate small access ways. Slippery when wet caution signs are posted through the caves as a reminder to visitors. There are 62 steps throughout the tour. All visitors are fitted with a sanitary helmet liner and hard helmet and offered a spray of mosquito repellent prior to the start of the tour. The Dunn’s River Falls are the highlight of Jamaica and tend to be very congested. All guests participating in a tour that visits the falls should wear foot protection that can get wet. River socks are available for rent at the falls. The rocks at the falls are slippery. Climbing the falls is optional and at your own risk. Participants who do not wish to climb the falls may enjoy the small beach at the base. The walk to the beach is on a slope with many stairs, therefore participants should be in reasonably good health. less
