Sit back in your air-conditioned transportation as we travel through the colorful city of Coxen Hole to a panoramic observation sight for stunning views of the picturesque city port and town center. Take a postcard shot with your ship in the background. Great souvenir shopping can be done here as well. Continuing on we’ll travel through Dixon's Cove, famous for its history of pirates. We'll continue on through the communities of Brick Bay, Mount Pleasant and the fishing village of French Harbor before arriving to Sherman's Iguana Refuge and Fish Nursery in French Cay. Here you'll have a wonderful experience with nature as you mingle among hundreds of iguanas that live in their natural habitat but are as tame as pets. Watch massive tarpons swim alongside the barracuda and other shell fish species such as Caribbean lobsters and conch at the Fish Nursery. Visit an exclusive private estate known as Cindy’s Paradise Place at the top of First Bight Community. Enjoy stunning views of the whole island surrounded by the world-famous barrier reef. Head out with a prospector/guide in authentic 19th century dress for a historical tour of Juneau including the state capitol. Then, turn up the road to Gold Creek and “Last Chance Basin”, where Joe Juneau and Richard Harris struck gold in 1880. In a secluded setting alongside Gold Creek your prospector shows you how gold panning is done. Then, it’s your turn, as you learn how to expertly work the pan with helpful tips and advice. You’re guaranteed to find gold! And, all that glitters is yours to keep. Around you are remnants of the original buildings of the Alaska-Juneau Mining Company. You’ll learn about the mining techniques that were used and more about the quest for gold that is so much a part of Alaska’s history. Take home a souvenir Gold Claim Certificate, all the gold you find, and an appreciation of what it was like to seek your fortune in the wilds of Alaska more than a century ago. The Gold Creek Salmon Bake is an all-you-can-eat adventure in a unique outdoor setting that’s been grilled to perfection for more than 30 years. Savor the aroma of wild salmon, grilling slowly over fires of fragrant alder wood while enjoying entertainment provided by local musicians. The sumptuous spread has something for everyone. Choose from salmon, chicken, baked beans, wild rice pilaf, potatoes and other sides, salads, beverages and desert. After dinner, roast marshmallows over a campfire. In 1494, when the Spanish discovered Jamaica, they named the village Ocho Rios, after the wondrous 'eight rivers' they saw here. Today you’ll explore one of those eight rivers that the Spanish found - the amazing, untouched White River. Take a step back in time when your adventure begins at the 17th-century landmark, Spanish Bridge. This is a site you can only see on your river tubing expedition. As you get ready to journey down the cool waters of the White River, which gained its name from the pristine clarity of its water, you’ll receive a safety briefing from your experienced guides who will also outfit you with all of your safety equipment for your journey ahead. This three-mile ride down the White River not only gives you the rich history of Jamaica, it shows you the beauty of our land as you pass by coconut plantations, bamboo groves and along river banks filled with indigenous flora and fauna. The real adventure lies in the White River as you enjoy her many moods, which will bring you to challenging rapids and enchanting lagoons. The breathtaking views and vistas of this tour, which takes you between two of our island’s most scenic parishes, St. Mary and St. Ann on what locals call the 'Interparish Express', can only be found on the River Tubing Safari Tour. As you disembark the White River, you’ll find yourself in one of Jamaica’s most beautiful valleys. The White River Valley property is a garden paradise with over 100 species of flowers for your viewing pleasure. Experience an unforgettable journey along the eastern side of White Pass aboard the world famous narrow gauge White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad, built more than 100 years ago through some of the North's most rugged terrain. Board a comfortable, vintage rail car and retrace the original route beyond the summit of White Pass at 2,865 feet through breathtaking scenery. Upon reaching Fraser, British Columbia, you’ll board a motor coach for the journey down the west side of White Pass Canyon as you hear about Tormented Valley and Pitchfork Falls.

Stop at historic Liarsville, a gold rush trail camp located at the foot of the White Pass and nestled beside a waterfall. The camp was named for the journalists whose reports on the Klondike Gold Rush included tall tales of the prospectors’ exploits. Browse the authentic camp exhibits, including antiques and garments left behind. A cast of sourdoughs and dance hall girls will entertain you with a hilarious melodrama and a poem. You’ll then be set free in the Liarsville gold fields, where you are guaranteed to find some gold of your own! Enjoy a snack, shop for souvenirs or have your photo taken with a dance hall girl or the camp’s sled dog mascot, Denali.

Note: All guests must carry a valid passport as this tour will be crossing both U.S. and Canadian borders. This tour may operate in reverse order.

Enjoy the natural beauty and undeniable magic of hidden Mexico in one of our single driver all-terrain vehicles. Your adventure begins when you are greeted by your bilingual guide and taken to your awaiting Kodiak transportation. After a short ride to the welcome station, receive a safety briefing and driving course. You'll then don your helmet and goggles and hop on your one person ATV and enjoy the driving experience. Follow your guide as you ride through the off road paths surrounded by tropical vegetation. Observe the natural beauty and feel the breeze on your face while driving over the coastline of Costa Maya. Visit a nice secluded beach where you’ll stop for a one hour break. Here is the end of your ATV ride experience and now it’s time to relax, take a swim in the ocean, admire the views or just lay down on the beach. As an optional activity you can snorkel while you explore the marine life and coral reefs; snorkel gear is included. You'll then be taken back to your ship’s pier on a Kodiak truck. Note: Participants must be at least 16 years of age and weigh no more than 350 lbs. Valid driver’s license required. One bottle of water and a light snack are included. One person per ATV. A helmet and goggles will be provided and must be worn. Closed-toe shoes are required. Long pants, a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen and insect repellant are recommended. Due to safety reasons, pregnant women and guests with heart/respiratory conditions or back/neck injuries are not permitted on this excursion. Guests will be required to sign a release before participating. In case of inclement weather, the snorkel activity may not be available. less
