Fasten your seat belts and get ready for fun! Hop on your fully automatic Xrail Buggy for the safest off road experience. Explore Cabo San Lucas’s magical transition from desert to ocean as you travel through mountains and canyons at Migrino sandy river beds, making your way to Half Moon canyon and TreeRock. Here, your guide will enrich you with the knowledge of native history. Step on the gas and enjoy a thrilling ride until you reach the river’s delta where the desert merges with the Pacific Ocean. Next, make your way back to the starting point and then to your ship. Note: Participants must be at least 6 years of age and in good health. Price is per Buggy, only one person needs to book the tour. Drivers must be at least 18 years old and present a valid driver’s license to the tour operator. Pregnant women and guests with back/neck injuries, heart conditions or epilepsy may not participate on this excursion. Helmets and goggles are provided at the starting point of the tour. Closed-toe shoes are required. Wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty. less

Depart the pier to La Popa Monastery, located on top of a hill overlooking Cartagena. This monastery was built at the beginning of the 17th century and houses a Colonial museum and a chapel dedicated to Virgen de la Candelaria, patron saint of Cartagena. Next, make a photo stop at San Felipe Fortress. This castle defended the city from many attacks and withstood the bloodiest assault from the British Admiral Vernon. Then, proceed to the Old City where you’ll walk approximately five blocks in the Colonial part of the city. Once at Bolivar Plaza, you’ll find Saint Peter Claver Church, the cathedral and the Inquisition Palace. After your walk, drive through the modern part of the city to a rest stop at the Pierino Gallo Plaza, for refreshments and some shopping. Afterwards, you’ll visit Pastelillo Fort, constructed in the mid 1700's. This is home to one of the most exclusive restaurants in town, Club de Pesca. Located in a corner of the 300 year old fortress, the restaurant overlooks Cartagena's marina and has a view of the walled city. At this elegant setting, take in the surroundings while enjoying a delicious Caribbean appetizer with a contemporary touch. Note: Bring comfortable clothing and shoes. less

Travel by air-conditioned van for approximately 90 minutes through the lush forests and breathtaking scenery of the Sierra Madre to the Argovia Plantation and Estate. Your guide will provide in-depth information about the history of the area and its people. Take a short tour of the grounds and learn about the Plantation’s history as well as the history of coffee. Then, discover all the flavors that distinguish Chiapas coffee. Practice observing the tastes and aromas of brewed coffee, learn the art of coffee tasting - and why it's ‘ok’ to slurp! Take a tour of the flower plantation and see these extraordinary specimens of nature’s gifts. Get to know all the diversity of foliage, tropical and exotic flowers, in one small and spectacular botanical garden. Afterwards, browse the gift shops where you can purchase Argovia’s famous coffee to take home with you. Note: Guests should wear a hat and comfortable shoes. Enjoy a day in the countryside, while visiting vineyards and tasting locally produced wine. Cowichan Valley proudly promotes sustainable local wineries and vineyards that produce quality wines, using no pesticides, herbicides and little or no sulfites. You'll visit three different vineyards, all are owner operated. Your guide will provide an informative narrative during the one hour drive to Cowichan Valley.

First you’ll visit Farm Gate Estate Winery, one of the most award-winning wineries in the valley. Here you'll meet the owners and enjoy a tasting of their red and white releases, finishing with a blackberry dessert wine. Next, you'll tour one the newest vineyards and learn about the growing conditions, types of vines, and wine making, followed by a tasting of their red and white wines. Your last stop is at one of the largest vineyards situated on the slopes of Mt. Provost. After your wine tasting, enjoy a treat of wild Pacific smoked salmon, local cheeses, crackers and a glass of wine out on the patio. Departing back to Nanaimo there will be optional drop off downtown, before returning to the cruise ship pier.

When you arrive at our authentic summer training camp for mushers and their sled dogs, you'll participate in a sled dog summer training run on our custom designed, wheeled summertime sled. Discover the power in a team of Alaskan huskies as they whisk your sled down a mile long trail through the depths of the Tongass National Rainforest! Then join one of our dog handlers and sled dogs for interactive demonstrations on mushing equipment and the impeccable care the dogs receive. Your dog handler will also entertain you with knowledge about the training, history, races, and inspiring efforts required by this sport. Marvel at the untamed beauty that has lured you to Alaska when you walk across our suspension bridge overlooking Fish Creek. Our Musher’s Camp is surrounded by moss-covered forest with huge spruce and hemlock trees. The views are simply awe-inspiring. Finally, cuddle up with our husky puppies, and take your picture with these adorable future athletes!
