These lovable rascals are comical, mischievous, playful and very friendly. Their inclination to engage in play and include humans in their games is what makes sea lion encounters so exhilarating. You’ll be standing waist-deep in the lagoon as you and the sea lion interact while doing various activities designed for maximum fun such as kisses, flipper shakes and even jumping over your head as you swim up to them. This is a unique and heartwarming experience which will never be forgotten. Afterwards you'll be offered a complimentary lunch and have the opportunity to purchase pictures or souvenirs of your encounter to share this incredible experience with family and loved ones. There is a little something for everyone on this tour, as the water depth varies from 2-25 feet. You’ll be greeted by a tour guide and escorted to a taxi for a five-minute ride to the facility. Upon arrival, the energetic staff of PADI-certified dive masters will brief you on the coral reef, safety procedures and snorkel equipment. You’ll have unlimited time to stay and enjoy the location and facilities. Note: Participants must be at least 4 years of age. Fresh water showers, a restaurant/snack bar and restrooms are available. Enjoy a short drive in air-conditioned comfort to the world-famous Dunn’s River Falls where you'll climb 600 feet of cool refreshing water as it cascades over natural limestone terraces. Guides are provided to assist you when ascending the rushing waters as it plunges directly into the pristine Caribbean Sea. After this invigorating experience, you'll be transported to Dolphin Cove, home to a beautiful family of bottlenose dolphins, exotic birds, snakes and iguanas. You'll be escorted to the Shark’s Cove where you'll be met by our highly trained shark encounter facilitators. Here you'll participate in a 15-minute safety briefing before facing your fears and interacting with the most fascinating and fearsome of all sea creatures, the shark! See Pirates of the Shark’s Cove and the rambunctious, hilarious Shark Show. Then the Shark’s 'Victim' (you) will get a chance to touch, hold, feed and explore while swimming in the same water as these creatures. After this exciting experience, enjoy a leisurely walk through the lush tropical jungle and get an up-close experience with our beautiful and friendly birds, snakes and iguanas. Browse through the largest gift shops of any attraction in Jamaica, stocked with the widest range of dolphin souvenirs; visit our jewelry store and craft market for locally handcrafted items. Shuttle buses are available at 10-minute intervals to return you to your ship or optional shopping at your convenience. Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age. We recommend you wear your swimsuit under comfortable clothing, water shoes to climb the falls, and bring a change of clothes and a towel. Barcelona’s favorable location, in perfect harmony with its immediate surroundings, together with its ease of access and varied climate, make it a starting point for discovering new landscapes and enjoying contact with nature. Your tour departs from the port passing through the main streets of Barcelona to reach Catalunya Square, considered the heart of the city. From here, you’ll continue the panoramic drive along Passeig de Gracia, the best-known boulevard in town. Your guide will point out of the masterpieces of Gaudi’s architecture: the Casa Mila and Casa Batllo, two of the best-known landmarks of the city. Reaching Diagonal Avenue, your tour continues to Montserrat, a peculiar rocky mountain range which is the site of the monastery where people come to worship ‘La Moreneta,’ the black Madonna who is the patron-virgin of Catalonia. The Benedictine Monastery of Montserrat was founded in the 11th century and is located in a natural park 37 miles to the west of Barcelona. The Benedictine community, now numbering some 80 monks, has served the shrine for almost a thousand years. They are dedicated to a life of prayer, to working, and to welcoming pilgrims, making the site a place for dialogue, prayer and culture. Besides the monks, the Escolans also live in Montserrat, forming the oldest boy’s choir in Europe. During your stay and visit to Montserrat, you’ll visit the sanctuary and have free time to take-in the activity of your choice. Spend extra time at the sanctuary, explore some more, take pictures, shop for that last-minute souvenir, have lunch or grab a coffee at one of the restaurants and cafeterias on location. Once you finish the visit you’ll be driven back to your ship. less

Located on the west coast of Naples, you’ll find the still-active volcano, Mount Vesuvius. For the adventurous traveler, this is the ideal way to explore the volcano that destroyed the city of Pompeii. You’ll arrive at the base of the National Park of Vesuvius, from where you’ll board a special 4 x 4 coach. Ecologic and equipped with air-conditioning, it will take you to a height of about 3,000 feet. During the drive up the path in the National Park, you’ll relax looking at the Gulf of Naples. Once at 3,000 feet, you’ll proceed on foot for another 1,000 feet up on a narrow zigzagging path. Once on the rim of the crater walls, you’ll meet an official alpine guide and walk part of the way around the edge to enjoy this natural phenomenon and, of course, a panoramic view that includes Naples and the entire bay. After visiting the crater, you’ll walk back to the 4 x 4 coach, which will take you to the motorcoach parking for your return drive to Naples and your ship. Note: The tour will not operate for Norwegian Jade winter sailings from the end of November through mid-April. Participants must be able to walk approximately 1 1/2 miles on an incline. This tour is not recommended for guests with a history of heart disease or high blood pressure and does not include lunch. During summer months expect extreme heat; we recommend that you dress in layers, wear a hat and bring bottled water. In the event of bad weather and the closure of Mt. Vesuvius crater, this tour will not operate. less
