This one-hour tour covers over 100 points of interest as you weave through the narrow streets of Old Town. On the tour you’ll pass through the historic seaport, by Southernmost Point, down exciting Duval Street, and unearth the stories of our unique heritage from the Bahamas, Cuba and New England. From bold Spanish explorers and brave wreckers to the great cigar barons and sponge magnates, you’ll be transported from the golden age of settlement through the exciting days of the railroad, and discover island life through the years of the Great Depression. You’ll quickly see why Key West has been home to writers and poets, musicians and artists, and visitors who find the Southernmost City magical. Your tour will conclude at Mallory Square, the hub of Old Town Key West. Filled with great shops and attractions including the Key West Aquarium and Key West Shipwreck Treasures Museum, Mallory Square is where you’ll find the island’s best conch fritters at the conch fritter stand and delicious Cuban conch cuisine at "El Meson de Pepe". View the metropolitan Miami area from the comfort of an air-conditioned motorcoach as your guide points out some of the most popular historic sights. Drive along Brickell Avenue, the nation's second-largest banking center. Then, it's on to charming Coconut Grove. Your walk will start at Victoria Pier in the heart of Lerwick, opposite the Market Cross. A leisurely stroll takes in the award winning, recently restored Tolbooth. This is now the headquarters of Lerwick's lifeboat station. You’ll see the unique "lodberries", once used by the town merchants for the landing and storage of goods. Climbing uphill you’ll observe a traditional method of recycling in the Shetlands, where an upturned former ferry is now the roof of a garage. You’ll pass various churches on the way to the steep, narrow, intricate web of lanes to the Town Hall, built in 1882. On the first floor, you’ll find the Shetlands' history depicted in pictorial narrative through stained glass windows. Proceed to Fort Charlotte, named after Queen Charlotte, wife of George III. The fort never saw action, but it housed a garrison throughout the Napoleonic Wars; it was later a base for the Royal Naval Reserve. It also served as the town jail and courthouse from 1837-75, and later a customs house and a coastguard station. At the end of your walking tour you may wish to stay in town to explore Lerwick's variety of small independent shops, browsing for local crafts and knitwear. less

Huatulco is known for its picturesque bays and sun-drenched Oaxacan coastline. Embark in a comfortable motorized catamaran-style vessel for a relaxing cruise from the harbor to Tangolunda Bay. View the area's natural beauty and surrounding resorts before passing by unusual rock formations at Organo Bay. Here, a stop will be made for swimming, relaxing time and some refreshments. Your cruise will continue to the tranquil Maguey and Chahue Bay's; then, proceed to Santa Cruz Bay, with its beautiful beaches and see the impressive blowhole located nearby. Your guide will provide informative commentary throughout your bay cruise. Note: Participants must be in good health. Swimming is recommended for guests of 250 Lbs. or less. Wear comfortable walking shoes and light cotton clothing. Bring sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and a camera. It began as a Viking settlement, followed by a market, later became a thriving town, and today it is one of the smallest and most pleasant capital cities in the world. Thorshavn today blends the historical and picturesque with all the features of a modern city. You’ll discover quality restaurants and hotels, conference facilities, interesting museums, discotheques, cinema, live theater, exhibitions, sports facilities, parks, and of course excellent shopping. The town and the surrounding areas are ideal for window shopping and pleasant strolls. As Thorshavn is located in the center of the country, the well-developed bus and ferry service can whisk you away to almost every corner of the Faroes and back again the same day. Your tour will visit Tinganes, which is the historic part of Thorshavn. Enjoy a short stop at Skansin to explore the old fort before driving up to the beautiful Nordic House Cultural Centre. When returning to your ship you’ll pass through the modern sections of the city and stop briefly at a viewpoint overlooking the capital. Drive through the center of Oslo passing the Akerskus Fortress, new Opera House, Parliament Building, the main street ‘Karl Johan’, Royal Palace, and the Nobel Institute, en route to Vigeland Sculpture Park. This Park was created and completed by one man, Gustav Vigeland. Centrally placed in the park is a 55 foot high monolith featuring 121 stone figures of men, women, and children in their struggle for life. There are more than 150 sculptures, all symbolizing the different stages in the life of mankind. Your guide will explain the different sculptures and monuments.

Continue to the Bygdoy Peninsula for a visit to the Open Air Folk Museum. Among the 150 wooden buildings constituting the museum, is one of Norway’s unique Stave churches, dating back to around the year 1200. Your last stop will be a visit to the Kon Tiki Museum which contains the balsa wood raft used by Thor Heyerdahl on his crossing of the Pacific Ocean in 1947. The museum also contains the reed boat RA II and exhibits brought back from his incredible voyages.
